hey i'm so sorry to hear about the issue w your university n ur friend passing away. not sure where u live but if it's the us, if the government can't hinder freedom of speech n protest then your school most certainly cannot especially if it's a public university n i cannot imagine them withholding your degree will hold up in court if u go that route. but the us government is useless n hell bent on funding colonialism n genocide instead of pursuing human rights (shocker). i hope things w ur school go in your favor. as for ur loss, grief isn't linear and it's hard to deal w n affects everyone differently; give yourself as much time and grace as u need!

thank you <3 my school is a very small private university so things are a bit iffy because of the student conduct that we agree to (which is where they were fighting me on. there was no direct mention to my protest actions, but we all know that’s what caused it.) it was basically thinly veiled threat in our meeting where they were like yeah….your behavior recently is against our conduct and you made people uncomfortable and threatened them (absolutely did not) and it would’ve such a shame if you had a suspension on your record…(some of our big alumni and donors are zionists)

that being said i have some amazing professors helping me out and the dean of the honors college that i’m apart of (who i think is more than willing to help me out.) its just a big hassle

as for my friend, thank you. 💗 back in september i had another friend take their life so two within a school year is just…it’s a little heavy. and my heart is mourning a lot more than my brain can right now with finals and fighting this suspension. but grief is such a strange thing. im 22 now and im mourning my friend like im 15 again, like we’re back in 9th grade and hes lifting my waterbottle too high for me to reach. all so surreal, yknow?

hi guys another update that’s completely unrelated. a friend of mine from hs passed away yesterday. i think with everything else going on i’m going to be disappearing for a bit or perhaps you lot will get a lot of stories of grief. we’ll see. 💗
