Here are my captures from day before yesterday's Lunar Eclipse. It took about 110 minutes for the Moon to be completely enveloped in our planet's shadow. The totality lasted for 103 minutes, during which time, the Moon donned its red robes: the Blood Moon! 💙 . Swipe right to see the different phases of the Eclipse. The eclipse here was rather cinematic to me. Clear skies through out and just when totality began, dark, thick clouds swarmed in and called it a day! As the path of totality grew, pictures became harder to take. They were more grainy, owing to limited visible surface area of the Moon. I hope you like this. I dreamt of such a day for years. A decade perhaps; silently. Now that I am in that moment, in that time, I am just stuck. Stuck with other pressing things to do. Priorities are a pain. I know the difference between my priorities, my obligations, my duties and my wants. Yet, here I am. STUCK! I can't wait to release myself from all these and resume my daily therapy with nature. "Very Soon!" is what I keep reassuring myself but now that I do a little bit of time travel, it's already a month since I've been giving myself this reassurance. Is this what I quit everything for? My deliberations are endless. Perhaps I will just let go of everything and not over-care one day. Perhaps, not! I don't know. But, I must know it. It's a cruel world. In our country, it's even more cruel with all the add-ons and pressures. I love the oceans and I love the mountains. Right this instant, I can only feel the ocean in my eyes and a mountain on my heart! Not where they should be. At. ALL! It's been 7 years since I went to Jog falls and Gokarna with an adventure group. All of 23 years, I was ready to check one place after another at my own pace, off a list that doesn't exist.... With my own style... Exploring and bathing in each place's energy and peace. It's 2018 and I still am at it. My peace-o-meter has barely even started filling. Do I have enough time in my side to see this meter fill up someday? May be.. May be not. I am not really worried about filling the meter. With whatever Internet I can scavenge, I present to you, a lovey dovey Malabar Hornbill couple. This is my favourite capture from today. It has been raining incessantly with a few 10-15 minute breaks. For more pics, check my stories. I realised posting to stories is much easier than on the feed, given the kind of monkey antics I have to do, to get some decent Internet. I definitely don't want to stay here much longer and get stung by a scorpion or bitten by a snake. The leeches are on me anyways. The urge to get this to you is greater than avoiding leeches. . .
