Can we make things happen our way!

One of the greatest dilemmas that many ranging from seekers of the true purpose of life to philosophers face is "is everything predestined or do we have a choice to shape our lives"

Before we come to any conclusion we need to ask ourselves that is this life, these physical experiences, what we see, and what we hear make up the entirety of our existence or whether there are certain things beyond this existence.

What if I tell you our physical existence is just a fraction of the entirety and there are levels of consciousness that are untapped and potentially hold immense possibilities that we cannot even imagine.

In Yogic and many eastern cultures, our body is believed to be just a vessel and consciousness resides somewhere inside, this vessel itself is no ordinary vessel but is one of the most complex and sophisticated organic-mechanism that we with our modern science are still exploring. We are nothing but a tiny fragment of the cosmos.

We are in more than one way connected to the universe. At one point or another each and every one of us has asked this question ourselves "what is our purpose of life on this earth? why does this life exist?" but most of us just ignore it and move ahead with our routine activities.

This is a question we need to ask ourselves more frequently and think over it. We have been taught that our brain controls our body and that the central nervous system handles all the reflexes. Have you ever wondered why there are so many involuntary body functions that we do not have control over. Why is it so?

Why we cannot control the healing time of a wound, why can't we control the working of our internal organs? If we lose a finger or toe why can't we tell our body to simply regenerate it?

The answer to the above questions is maybe we can if we take complete control of our bodies. A level at which we can possibly instruct our cells and even our DNA consciously, but before we can achieve this we need to tap the hidden layers of our consciousness and come back to the question can we make things happen our way?

What I believe is yes we can, right now our lives are on autopilot and we are going through the cycles of life and death, but if we get to our full potential all of us have the capability to mend these cycles and by getting to know ourselves, I do not mean we need to give up on this physical world and the things we enjoy, we just need to be aware. Just consider this life as a video game, we simply need to realize that this (our existence here) is just a character and we are much more than this character, won't this give you much more fun and freedom at playing and when we set our self free from this notion, we can discover the inner consciousness. Self-realization is not that you own nothing but ensuring that nothing owns you.
