I would literally never lay a hand on anybody else but the SECOND I feel as though I've "failed" at something (and by failing here I mean not having it be absolutely perfect) I start planning the most heinous acts of violence against myself. I mean that.

Got a bad grade? Written something that wasn't that good? Messed up a recipe while cooking/baking? Accidentally said the wrong thing at the wrong time? Any of that happens and you can bet your sweet ass I'll be mentally planning a gruesome suicide for the next several days. I do anything wrong and suddenly I'm an unlovable worthless scum.

A few days ago someone said something bad about my writing. I'm still so embarrassed about it that my thoughts keep going back to it as if it were a war flashback.

But yeah,I'm sane. Totally.

I envy people who can stay in more than one fandom at a time,when I get interested in something I can only think of that thing and nothing else for months,24/7. Literally,I need to spin the thing in my head until I've gotten so tired of it it disgusts me.

I mean it,my whole life stops when I join a new fandom.

To people who can like things normally,if you even exist: how do y'all do it?

Everybody knows that our parents' attitude influences the way we'll interact with pretty much everything later on,but just to put it into perspective:

up until I was 14 I made small talk by complaining about small things that didn't even bother me at all because that's what my mother did and i thought it was just how you made small talk. It took me 14 years of life to figure out that people thought that was unpleasant and disliked me because of it.

I've since changed my ways,but now I don't know whether I should trust anything of what I've learnt about socialising: I mean,if I've gotten such a simple thing wrong,then God knows what other ideas I hold that are actually super annoying and off putting and i don't even realise it.

Pet owners who are normal about their pets are so confusing to me. Like,what do you mean you don't post your cat/dog on your socials 10 times a day and don't buy them toys any chance you get? You don't baby talk to them? I didn't even know that was possible.
