"You did what?!" Allura shouted, trying her best to hold back an intense laughter.

Pidge shrunk down, hiding her face behind her hands from the embarrassment. "Keith and I were sparring..." she slowly reiterated.

"Yes... And?" Allura chuckled.

"Well he won, he got me in a light choke hold and pinned my arm behind my back..." Pidge groaned.

"And what did you do?"

"I moaned and said 'eep'... I MOANED! And said 'EEP'!!!" Pidge shouted from embarrassment.

Allura could not handle it anymore, bursting into a crying fit of laughter.

All the members of Team Voltron log in for a video chat to catch up, Shiro is the first to log on, followed quickly by Allura with Lance, then Hunk, and finally Keith and Pidge.

"Hey, where's Pidge at?" Lance asks.

"She's in the bathroom, she's been throwing up all morning, she said she'll try and "drag herself out and say hi" but no promises." Keith laughs.

"Poor thing," Allura starts. "Any idea what's wrong with her?"

Keith shakes his head "No clue, my theory is food poisoning cause I didn't feel a fever on her earlier, but she insists that's not the issue."

Pidge starts walking in from out of frame. "Oh, hey here she is."

"Hey Keith, mind telling them will hop back on in a few minutes?"

Keith had a confused but worried long on his face "Yeah, no problem," he said before facing the camera again. "Hey we'll be right back." He said before clicking the 'camera off' button, thinking that got rid of both sight and sound. "What's up?"

Shiro: Keith, you're not offline

Shiro: Keith

Shiro: Someone call him real fast, before a private matter is said when Katie doesn't want it to be

Hunk: Already on it

Lance and Allura: No, I'm curious, if he can't hear the notifications going off in the chat, that's his fault

"What's up? Pidge?"

Pidge's face was a bright shade of red, whether that was from the stress of morning sickness or not, Keith didn't know. "I've had an idea for a few weeks, but with the whole 'throwing up 7 times in the past two and a half hours' thing, I decided to confirm..." she said before handing him 4 used pregnancy tests, all with the same result. "Uh... surprise?"

Keith went through a whole flood of emotions in less than a second, confusion, to concern, to unrestrained excitement flashed across his face. "Wait so we're- you're- I'm gonna be-" He jumped out of his chair swinging her around in excitement "I'm gonna be a dad! There's so much we have to do, we have to get you to the hospital, we have to prep, we have to sign up for classes!"

Pidge quickly placed a kiss on his lips to shut him up and calm him down, "All in due time. Looks like I'm not the only one going to be running around calling you daddy now." She said with a wink and chuckle, making Keith's face turn bright red.

On the other end of the screens, Lance just spit up his entire sip of coffee, laughing as hard as he possibly could without dying. "Oh God, okay, okay, now we can tell them."

Minutes later, Pidge was not amused and Keith was begging for her forgiveness.

Pidge: I can fix him and help him get rid of his anger issues

HEYYY !! For the ship meme , who tops ??

I have an answer for two different scenarios, depending on if you subscribe to the whole "Galra mating season" idea. So I'll describe it for both with and without a particular season.

With Mating Season

In this scenario 99% of the time, Keith tops (or depending on his mood and if he "wants a view" he power bottoms. After a few years of marriage and being together, it's something that BOTH Keith and Pidge look forward to, and they usually use up all there PTO from the Garrison and Blades all at once for a two week long "bender of debauchery" as Pidge has it marked in their calendars (much to Keith's embarrassment). There's 1% of the time where Pidge wants to act a little feisty for her "Beasty" and she'll try and take the lead, being able to push him back on the bed and straddle him before he can get back up, and this is when his Galra blood flairs up for his strong-willed partner. In this scenario, I imagine 90% of the time it's mostly them just goint at it rough and fast, and they both enjoy the feeling of exhaustion that they cause each other.

Without Mating Season

Similar to the last one, but I'd say it's more 75% Keith and 25% Pidge. And it can be a year of round thing, as even without a specific season, I personally headcanon as Galra having a very high libido since as a race of warriors and conquerors, they pretty much encounter the possibility of death as fast as they can reproduce, so they probably want to make the most of any free time with their desired partner. In these instances, I feel like Keith would be the king of teasing/edging Pidge, maybe even convincing her to let him tie her up with her bayard, so that way when he finally let's her get some relief it's incredibly intense and she's beyond flustered. On the opposite end, when Pidge wants to initiate it, it's more of when she's had a stressful day in the labs, she knows what she wants to do and Keith is more than happy and willing to be her favorite tool for relief.

Nicknames?

For Keith -> Pidge

I feel like since everyone uses her nickname as just her actual name at this point, he would use her real name as a nickname. Whether it's her full name (Katie), Kate, or Kat. Other terms include gearhead, "My little grease-monkey" (mainly used if she's tired herself out and overworked herself in her lab/workshop and he needs to carry her back to to their bed at 4:00am), bot for brains (though this would be more in early stages of friendship or like a pre-kerberos AU where they met each other and new each other as kids.

For Pidge -> Keith

Her standard nickname is the obvious "emo", variants also include "space emo". For sexy times, she likes to joke and say he has a borderline second personality she has affectionately nicknamed "Beasty". She'll tease him with "Keef" but even though it anjyoys him, he loves it every time.

I recently found some new delusions evidence in support of Kidge, and it's all connected to one Josh Keaton. The delusions evidence is as follows

Josh Keaton plays Shiro in Voltron Legendary Defender

Shiro is a flying genius in his field

Shiro fills the fatherly/mentorship role on the team (a.k.a SpaceDad)

Shiro is a pseudo-father/brother/mentor to Keith

Keith is a (half)Alien young man with anger issues, a want but also fear to make connections, clad in Red

Shiro is a pseudo-father/brother/mentor to Pidge

Pidge is a quirky young genius, clad in green, with a close connection to Keith (due to being the sword and shields)

We see Keith go out of his way to defend and protect Pidge (diving after her to catch her, holding onto her when she's getting dragged under in the mindscape, etc.)

Now comes the extra bit

Josh Keaton voices Hal Jordan in Green Lantern the animated series

Hal Jordan is a flying genius in his field

Hal Jordan fills the father/mentor role for the young members of his team (a space dad)

Hal is a brotherly/mentor figure to Razer

Razer is an Alien young man, with anger issues and a fear of making connections, and clad in Red

Hal is a pseudo-father figure to Aya

Aya is a quirky genius clad in green, with a (definitively romantic) connection to Razer

We see Razer goes out of his way to defend and protect Aya (insane rage when she is injured or insulted, taking hits from Red Lanterns and manhunters, and being unable to harm Aya as she is the love of his life)

I conclude, Kidge is the most probable role because Josh Keaton could not resist being in two sci-fi projects where he is SpaceDad watching a red clad young man and green clad young lady grow closer together.

Pidge says it first out of the two, but it's an accident and she says it in front of everyone, and because of this they both turn into a flustered mess. Keith is the first one to say it on purpose, making a carefully planned dinner and evening together.

For extra fun, Pidge says hers on a press tour or a talk show when they all discuss their time on team Voltron. She answers a question and it goes somewhere along the lines of "Yada, yada, yada... which is why I love him so much." *both of their eyes grow wide, and faces turn as red as Keith's jacket* suddenly the press cared less about Voltron as an old team of defenders, and the paparazzi starts to focus on trying to get a hot scoop on their newly exposed relationship.

I feel like Keith's dad raised him to be very old fashioned in the courting and love department. And what I mean by that is Keith probably would do small, genuine things.

He'd get her her favorite flower (making a special trip all the way to Olkari just to do so), he'd learn how to bake peanut butter cookies and hand deliver them, he'd ask her out to no less than three dinners before asking her to "go steady" (to which she would get a major kick out of).

Shiro, Matt, and Hunk would probably cry tears of joy (Matt and Hunk of course being far more exaggerated in their expressing), Lance would be the most joyful for the two, happy to see them come together and hoping them the best.

Out of the parents, Krolia would be surprisingly emotional, happy for her son to find his own happiness and tell him to not make her mistake and to always stay by her (Pidge's) side. Colleen would be happy that her baby girl found a nice, proper young man that genuinely cares for and respects her daughter. Sam would have the same reaction as Matt and Hunk, but of course will be sad for his baby girl growing up and no longer needing him, but he would feel there is no one better in the universe to be there for her than Keith.
