#bts ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How transparent are Fashion Brands? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's been six years since many of us started asking the fashion industry #WhoMadeMyClothes? This is the campaign led by non-profit, Fashion Revolution. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ April 22nd - 28th is Fashion Revolution Week. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On 24 April 2013, the Rana Plaza factory building in Bangladesh collapsed. 1,138 people died and another 2,500 were injured, making it the fourth largest industrial disaster in history. That’s when Fashion Revolution was born. There were five garment factories in Rana Plaza all manufacturing clothing for the western market. The victims were mostly young women. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you would like to ask a brand the same question #WhoMadeMyClothes - you can post a photograph at any time this week (and beyond) and include the hashtag #whomademyclothes. Easter Day Trips - what’s your favourite place to take your kids?
