Season’s Eatings: new music and disappoints

Hope everyone survived and/or enjoyed their Great American Day Off yesterday. Well, the Kickstarter was a bust, but hey, no commitments! Probably wasn’t the best idea to schedule it over the election, when a) people are more occupied by the races and b) spending their donations to political stuff and c) I work for a political stuff and so it was the busy season.

A couple weeks ago I had a fun trip to Burlington, Vermont with the wife to relax and unwind after election day. Also had the great opportunity to play at the excellent Radio Bean - a cool place I highly recommend if you like live music, local beverages, and good food. Remember to tip the staff and the bands!

Figured it was time to get back to what I do best by recording a few of the new songs I wrote in the past couple weeks.

You can pay what you’d like - even if it’s nothing - for a seven minute single I recorded in the living room w/o telling the wife or roommate. It’s three different songs that all sound pretty good together in one track.

A cute, though melancholy collection of singable, emotionally available acoustic pop punk songs. If you don't know, Portland, ME is really starting to build a great folk punk scene. INNNNI are one of these emerging talented acts. This album centers itself around the lifestyle of the lyricist, discussing relatable lyrics to any 20 or 30 something making their way in the modern USA. The songs have a good structure. They are catchy and they end before they could get boring. This album does a good job of playing to the strengths of the folk punk genre.
