I'm sorry your history classes failed you, but here in Germany, we actually learn what the Nazis did— “But it’s just about the aesthetics!” Cool. Then go take moody black-and-white photos of your local landfill instead. Same energy.

We visit concentration camp memorials in school. We see the photos. We watch the footage. I’ve seen original footage of a child sitting between the corpses of their parents in the Warsaw Ghetto. So no, I don’t care if you think Himmler picking flowers is “just a nice picture.”

If you’ve got two lightning bolts in your bio, I hope you experience a swift medical emergency so sudden and severe that your internet history is the least of your family's concerns.
