Not religious, but boy do I have a thing for characters who have no special powers, no magic, no stuff like that, but they still kick ass because of two things: An unshakeable faith in the divine and a fucking gun.

There is something about it that just tickles my "Unbreakable human spirit" funny bone. Even better when they do inevitably get fucked up by a stronger enemy, but rise again to go "I didn't hear no bell yet, fucker!"

Faith and sword is good too, briliant, amazing, lovely! But in this specific instance, gun just packs more punch. Plus when it comes to melee weapons, people tend to give these characters some magic to offset the balance and I don't really like that.

In all seriousness, can any music nerd explain to me why it's so appealing? I'm not a music person so all I can deduce is that Pemberton, who by the way composed the lovely Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance soundtrack (this is your sign from the universe to watch AOR) is really really good at slow build up in his songs.

All I can say is that from a story perspective it's a really great song portray Gwen's inner conflict, to show how unfocused and lost she is with her powers, that's what the chaotic and disorganized drums are for. And the stress that she feels from her responsibility and desperate longing to belong, to share her feelings and superhero identity.

Or something like that.

Honestly playing with the goblin mod is just so damn funny, because so many NPCs and even Tav themselves are so goddamn racist against goblins (understandable, given the situation of the game) and then I'm there just like... mate.
