A few months ago I shared what his 𝗘𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗲 would be like with animated form thanks to Moorkas' wonderful art 👏🏻 It looks so cute and so cool 😍💖

And I enjoyed when I saw 𝗣𝗲𝗴𝗴𝘆 𝗟𝘂 making a cameo as 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗻 in 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒓-𝑴𝒂𝒏: 𝑨𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒓-𝑽𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒆 so much 🤭 𝗧𝗼𝗺 should make a cameo in the next and final film!I already love these movies, for this to come true would make me love them even more 🙏🏻

engineer doesn't get enough love on this blog considering how much I cannot express my devotion to him, so I’m working to fix that :) this is similar to what I did for damien but it took foreverr!! iswm lighting is so so pretty which makes it impossible to get right ;;u;; the saturation is really high and there's multiple light sources so in terms of rendering it, its like it was personally designed to leave me dead on the floor :))))) either way,, I'm happy with how it turned out!! he’s very prettie :))

“Ma meilleure ennemie” song from Arcane fits for a whole lot of ship edits, and I think it fits really well for Symbrock…someone….pleaseee my vision….if someone hasn’t already done it

The problem wasn’t the so called “queerbaiting” for me, I feel like most of us just expect their relationship to GROW. It doesn’t need to be sexual and profound. It doesn’t have to be appealing to the queer eye but they made it seem like it with the promotions, it deserves to be as gay as it can because people deserve that rep. Especially if it’s a superhero movie that people can look up to. Call me media illiterate if you want but I felt wasted from the queer representation that they could’ve had. I’m honestly tired of the whole “queer couples can’t be happy together” in medias where they end up dying and being tragic.

symbrock didnt even make it to top 100 ships and thats because the movie was a fucking LETDOWN TO THE SYMBROCK NATION. THEY SHOULD'VE KISSED. THEY SHOULD'VE HAD 4 HOUR TENTACLE SEX. A LOVE CONFESSION. MARRIED IN VEGAS. ANYTHING.

Timebomb angst for the soul

Never getting over the fact how young Ekko and Jinx are to feel responsible for everything around them. They’re both between 18-20 (canonically).

I can’t get over that Ekko feels responsible for saving everyone but himself. Because of what he made happen to cause a sort of butterfly effect/start a domino effect when he was younger all due to that heist he told about to the others + being a leader later on.

I can’t get over that Jinx feels responsible for every death she caused by accident or purpose and continuing that cycle because of trauma. The cause for “hurting” everyone and can’t stop doing it because of the hallucinations.

They’re literally two sides of the same coin and the fact that they could understand each other.

Cannot get over that Ekko is alone AGAIN. And he’s probably only holding on because of Vi and the Firelights.

Cannot get over that if Jinx is alive and had to push herself to run away because that was the only way to break the cycle.

I’m sorry but I will truly never get over Ekko who lost his mentor and all his friends at a young age, then spent the rest of his childhood building a beautiful and strong community that helped get shimmer addicts off the streets and give them a new life that thrived off of trust, respect, and loyalty while slowly watching the girl he loves lose herself to her psyche and become an unhinged suicidal terrorist who he is unable to save despite repeated attempts at it. And THEN gets booted into an alternate reality where he learns he could have had EVERYTHING, the beautiful and thriving community, the education, his family, and the girl he loves and he heartbreakingly leaves it all behind because he knows he doesn’t belong there and he has to go back to save his people which he DOES multiple times at great risk despite knowing what overextending his z-drive could do only to end up completely alone in the end. The most selfless character in the entire series. That’s my boy savior.

Mel girlbossed so hard, felt really bad for her though.

Thoughts about Ekko

Something about how Ekko is genuinely a very good character at heart in Arcane, but he doesn’t get enough recognition for it from the show itself.

I often think about how Ekko must’ve been so afraid of Silco and what he could do to make people “fear” him. That was Silco’s whole goal, to make people regret messing with him and to show them what he was capable of after Vander’s so called betrayal. It must’ve gotten so bad for Ekko that instead of going insane over it, he decided to save other people from it. And imagine he was only a kid when he thought that. Ekko is also really smart and built so much for the people he helped saved from Silco.

Ekko saw Silco kill Benzo. Ekko saw everything from when he was almost “Powder’s” age during that time. He cried to Vi and he was just a kid too. There was so much blood too and he probably saw how Shimmer could make someone so aggressive and inhumane.

Ekko must’ve been so alone when he realized that every one of his friends and the other adult figure he looked up to (Vander) has left him. (All of them died in his eyes.) In a way, he did experience what Jinx did, but just he handled his trauma to grow into a better person. Because he was alone and Jinx joined Silco. Which is why I think Ekko turned out the way he is without that influence of another.

How Ekko seems to hide his emotions when talking with Vi, after they argue a bit, they hug. That’s what breaks him to want to cry. He felt like a child again and Vi helped him and comforted him. Imagine how long he missed her. Imagine how long he hasn’t been hugged like that.

Ekko deserves a lot more, he’s an interesting character from the others too. I hope to see more of his story and more of him in Act 3.
