33 & Up

Happy Birthday to me!

Today I hit the wonderful age of 33, which should be a fantastic age since it's a double digit!  According to my logic at least.

I was a bit worried what would happen today since yesterday I was sick  but I felt much better this morning then I did the day before.

For starters Micah gave me one of my presents, a Catbug Squishable pillow!  I was kinda hungry when he did though so I didn't truly appreciate it till later in the day.  We quickly decided we needed food and everyone was waiting on me telling them if I was sick or able to zoo today so I made my phone calls  and went to meet up with Wren and Pokemeister (plus her husband) to have a Mexican brunch at Coco Bolo's.  They give you a free banana-ice cream-rum-caramel sauce desert! 

We all got to go to the Sunset Zoo afterwards and find our Spirit Animals!

Mine = Flamingos

Micah = Aligators

Pokemeister = Lil Monkeys

PokeMeisters Husband = Peacock

Wren = Some Plants (I know that isn't an animal but even though she honks like a Goose, her blood is filled with chlorophyll)

I swear Wren is basically a nice version of Poison Ivy.  :T

Animal Encounters:

Cheetas: Sleeping and ignored us completely

Hyena: One came out and walked in front of us

Prairie Dogs: Ran down their hole

Kookaburra: Sat in the old Gum Tree laughing

Tiger: Dead

Bears: Pacing around

Snow Lepards: Replaced by a regular Lepoard who wanted lunch

Otter: Sleeping belly to the sky on his back, not a care to the world

Red Pandas: Sleeping on tree's looking pathetically cute

Flamingos: Bitching up a storm while nesting

Bobcat: THE BEST

There were two Bobcats, one was Mittens who didn't want to be bothered, and the other was Millie!  Millie is only a year old and Wren noticed a tree near the enclosure so she wiggled the branches and Millie pounced the fence all "LETS PLAY!"  Super cute!

Then Wren bought me a tiny flamingo and a super long blue pencil! 

Before we left Micah got a stuffed Hyena and I got an Otter :3

After our little Birthday Group dispersed and we headed to the Families home for Easter Dinner (at 3pm?!)

They like to make some weird pulled pork stuff on Easter every year. It's not bad really.  Micah's nephew called me Aunt Julie, that was a first.  Not sure how I feel about it but it was super cute and unexpected!  Rita (Micah's sister & Henry's mom) gave me a bouquet of flowers with a birthday card inside with a cute bird necklace!

Rita also had made me the brightest, happiest, rainbowiest, unicorn full cake with berries all over it!  It even had some happy dinosaur and glitter flower candles.

His mom gave me a gazing ball thing for the back yard and also some cool rainbow glowing things for the front yard! Yay yard stuff!

We then made his mom watch Brides Maids with us.  Fricken love that movie!  

I also hit 303 followers on instagram today! If we take out the 0 that's 33!  How perfect is that!  Thank you Sam  Hart for inspiring my Batman/Ariel love doodle! 

All and all it was a super happy nice day!
