I mean, you know those people who say "ewww you ship sonadow, they don't even get along!!" Like bro, I don't see them like the kind of romantic pair that go into long walks on the beach under a sunset holding hands.

When I say I ship those two, I mean it in a CHAOTIC and UNCONVENTIONAL way lmao. These two will still fight, sonic will still be teasing Shadow and him just not being able to stand Sonic. The difference is that well, they sometimes kiss or 🔞 but eh, that's how I see it.

Sonic is the type of person who needs freedom, and Shadow needs space, so they just respect that between each other and they won't let a relationship change their lives.

Second, a question. How did you find your art style? I know it's an ever-evolving process and all, but how did you go about developing a style that you feel happy using long-term?

Hi Maddie! First of all, thank you SO much for your support, means the world to me! <3

And about your question, I don't even consider myself having a long term style tbh 😭. I am constantly changing things that suites myself at that time I'm drawing.

I have been returning to draw again after 3-4 months and I can see that I changed some things.

The thing is that I would consider pretty difficult or boring drawing like, the same way every time I start to draw.

It's not like I start from 0 another style, but I make subtle changes, to keep myself motivated and also convincing myself that I'm not just doing the same day after day lmao

I don't think my style will be the same as always in the next 10 years, but I think my style evolved to one that I feel happy to use because it's a mix between what I have learnt about proportions in Sonic terms and what I like to highligt about the characters proportions!

Tbh I just mixed what I like to see in Sonic or other characters proportions, seeing official art or fanart, and I also added my own take on the characters!

Sure! If you mean how I started here on tumblr, I think I can explain a little bit.

I started uploading posts at the end of last year so far, all I did is familiarize myself with the app and create my niche. It's very important to create a niche for yourself and focus on something specific, whether it's your interests or whatever. If the app knows what you like and you start uploading things you like, there's a chance it will recommend them to other people who happen to have the same niche as you!

The app is not dumb, for example my niche is sonic, and here specifically sonadow. Every time I log in, it's all sonadow, because the app knows I love it lmao.

And to create a niche you just have to follow people who also post things that you like and go with your vibe, see a lot of content, etc.

That's what I recommend, using tags here at the beginning I guess also helps, I haven't done much research, but I always add tags that have to do with the post, and no more than 10.

I have aa question, for one of ur art posts I noticed there's a small piece of paper on the drawing of sonic you did, is there any reason why there's a 2nd piece of paper on his face? (I also tend to see artists do this a lot and wonder why)

Oooooh don't worry that much about it.

Me personally I tend to do this because basically I do a mistake, and since I can't erase it because I'm drawing with a color pencil (or sometimes I just try to erase it but it gets worse 😭) then I put on a piece of paper and draw over it 🧚‍♀️

That's at least in my case!

Hiii! I use Paint tool sai 2! And for brushes:

This one for doing the lineart (I use the same one for sketching, I just lower the opacity)

This one when making lights and shadows!

And this one when I do lineless art, it's good because it kind of mix the colors :]
