what does coping delusinal attachement mean ?? /genuine question

its a general term for someone who identifies *strongly* as a fictional character to the point that not being that character would make them very uncomfortable, but isn’t quite a delusion as with most irl’s. I can absolutely clarify further if needed, but that’s the basic idea.

I definitely haven’t seen anyone else address this possibility, but I think it’s important to address it regardless, and possibly bring to light something that could help some people have a label to apply to themselves for the sake of peace of mind.
