Every time I watch/see the robin Jason Todd torturescene in Arkham Knight, is it sad? Yes but what I always focus on more and makes me more emotional is Batman reaction.
The fact that you can hear the emotion in his voice as well as when he first saw the scene in front of him. He really believed Jason was there for a moment his mind(and maybe even just a small bit of hope) tricked him into thinking Jason was really there before settling himself into reality. That moment, the stutter as he said “I thought you were dead.” Always gets me
