Hi all, welcome to my RTC blog :)

I am an autistic + physically disabled adult whose spinterest has been Ride the Cyclone for about a year straight. I did join very late, whether that be for better or worse 😅

You can call me Janey or Moni! (We are a system, which is not a super important part of this account, but we will probably sign off depending on the post)

I'm a writer! I have a LOT of headcanons about the choir that I can hopefully share with everyone here, as well as an AU I am writing where "everyone" survives (Penny does not exactly survive, but Jane resurrects in her place. Starting out as the main character with no sense of identity or belonging, trying to find her way in the world after meeting some friends that we all know and love ^^). It follows the characters in a life where they did survive the Cyclone accident and what became of their lives as they grew into adulthood. They are all around 24. This AU is in the form of a fanfiction and currently only exists on a Google Doc, but I am hoping to transfer it to AO3 to share it with the world! The name for the AU is still in the works. In the meantime, here is my account with a singular short I wrote about Noel/Monique being a trans girl. :) (For some reason it says the work has adult content but it isn't NSFW at all, I will have to fix that.)

That is another important part of my AU and some of my choir headcanons generally. I do consider Noel to be a trans woman. I am not sure if people in the fandom really care about this, but if that is something that makes you uncomfortable, I would kindly suggest to just leave this blog for both of our comforts. <3 Moni (alter) is a bisexual woman and certain works as well as the main fanfiction for the AU will reflect this as a part of her identity. PLEASE do not take this as me erasing Noel's gay identity. Noel as a gay man and AU Monique honestly exist very separately to each other in my mind. I would never ship canonical Noel with another woman from the choir. Works about Monique as a trans woman WILL explore themes about fluidity and change of sexuality/queerness during transition though, which as a trans person myself, is a very real part of life in transition that I personally feel is important to share. How Monique in my AU interacts with and sees others post-transition is very different than when she was living as Noel due to discomfort in identity and dysphoria. Again, if any part of this makes you uncomfortable, I respect that and I just ask that you kindly leave the blog so no one has to be uncomfortable. And also please go away if you DO ship canonical Noel with any of the female cast. He is gay, through and through.

Other than that, my DNI is basically just like, proshippers, zionists, and LGBTQ+ discoursers. Just don't be weird or mean! I am a multishipper, so I am totally open to most of the choir ships and enjoy posts/art about them :D
