In his 'saviour' skin Viktor is at peak controlled-by-hubris form, blind to the harm he's doing and working up into the big world brainwashing plan. He's act2 Viktor, the rest of his arc in this show will still happen. During a stream Amanda has also mentioned Viktor is hopelessly projecting the relationship he had with Jayce onto the fake hallucination sky; it's interesting to note Viktor gives up on his humanity when Jayce rejects him in ep8, and that is also when fake sky disappears.

Honestly, Mel being revealed as an empath feels so cruel to me. For all her ability to feel the emotions and understand the motives of others, the narrative never gives her the opportunity to feel her own emotions to the fullest. To cry, to laugh, to rage. She is always calm, and the one time she has an outburst, it is to her mother Ambessa, who tells her "Get ahold of yourself. I taught you better." Why must Mel always be strong? Be calm when other characters are allowed to feel and experience the full spectrum of their emotions?

yall remember how when ekko, jayce, and heimer went into the arcane, their bodies did the weird spikey shit on the sides???… to reference them like, astral projecting or some shit I DONT ENTIRELY UNDERSTAND IT

but what i DO understand is that they all ended up in different universes.. and arcane ended with that same looking thing happening to jayce and vik….

im choosing to believe that jayvik are happy in an alternate universe right now and dont remember any of the other stuff. viktor has his talis family colors cane, jayce has his homo hammer that he uses to fix things around the house. they have 2 cats that viktor dontttt play about, and hextech is nowhere in sight!!^_^ trust me on this guys

being a LITTLE delusional here but, are we forgetting arcane had a 250 MILLION dollar budget for s2??

250 million dollars went into that, and yall think not one person who worked on, or with arcane took a breath and went “huh, maybe jinx ‘dying’ and not getting a single other thought isnt right!” NOOOO. that wouldn’t have happened!!! with every other major character, we see them getting proper memorials or even grieving scenes from people who knew them.. but nothing with jinx, at all, and i dont think arcane couldve made that big of a mistake with such a major character???

you think, with their 250 million dollars, they made caitlyn look at escape routes to the building they were in.. as a mistake. they put a frame at the end of ep9 in jinx’s handwriting… as a mistake. they animated a shimmery line (like seen from jinx in the s2 trailer!!) flying away from the explosion as a mistake. NO FUCKING WAAAYAYYY

again, granted, i did not work on arcane, but im assuming they wouldnt just brush jinx’s death to the side like that??

cassandra got a memorial, and lots of shots of caitlyn very clearly mourning!! vi basically was mourning powder before she even was dead in s1!!! vi and jinx both have scenes where they’re very clearly not over vander’s death when its brought up!! arcane knows how to do grieving scenes.. they couldve done one for jinx!!

last but CERTAINLY NOT least, if you’re gonna say “but she was from zaun!!” - “but she was a criminal!!” - “her death wouldnt be a horrible thing to the piltover citizens!!!” even if it was looked at by the piltover citizens as a good thing, we still would’ve got a grieving scene? from SOMEONE??? most likely bu vi, since we see her in the end. but she doesnt look sad, if anything she just looks a bit bored..
