Our team members from Daman Branch Punit & Sony Garg and directors Sweta and Mohit, along with volunteers Nitesh and Hemant and Dr. Purendra Bhasin, Dr. Priyamvada Bhasin, Dr. Veena Pradhan, Dr. Anuradha Mishra, And Dr. Reeta Mishra provided water and support to the runners on their path. 👉 It was a wonderful experience to see so many people come together for a noble cause and promote fitness and health. In my experience, the most important thing for kids to learn is how to be responsible for themselves. And that's where you come in! We recently visited a rural school in Paliya village in Etah district, which was struggling for improvement in learning conditions and an energy-guzzling setup. The reason? They lacked the resources and funds to upgrade their existing infrastructure. So we decided to help them out by installing a rooftop solar PV system, which would provide free electricity for their classrooms and reduce carbon footprints by reducing reliance on fossil fuels. Now this school will have access to clean drinking water through a water cooler which will be installed in their school, making it easier for students to hydrate during breaks or after school. And all of this will be made possible through ISCI FOUNDATION and Essar TMT Bars CSR project, which aims at improving learning environments in rural areas through sustainable energy solutions. It was a day to celebrate love and happiness with the one's who need it the most. Volunteers of ISCI FOUNDATION celebrated valentine's day at an old age home in Gwalior to share love and happiness with the one's who need it the most. The fun party began with decoration, games, music and dance followed by snacks. Helping those in need: donating woolen clothes, sleepers and clothes to homeless kids and women at Thatipur, Gwalior. Story behind this act of giving: Yesterday night we were contacted by Mr. Pankaj Jha, who has seen homeless kids and women living on the roadside near Thatipur, Gwalior. We asked him for more information, and he sent us pictures of the kids. Today, we went to the location and found the kids in a very poor position, they were not having sleepers and woolen clothes in this cold weather. They are actually living on the road. After seeing them, we arranged sleepers, woolen clothes and normal clothes for the kids and women. With the help of our volunteer Nitesh, we distributed these things to the kids and women. It was really a heart melting moment as the kids rejoiced. On 26 Jan, Founder of ISCI FOUNDATION Mrs.Sweta was invited as a chief guest for Republic Day Celebration at Sunrise Public School, Gwalior. The management, teachers and students gave a warm welcome. After the flag hoisting ceremony the students of the school performed a very informative Nukkad Natak on Good Touch Bad Touch, which was really very informative and engaging. Cute kids from primary classes performed a wonderful dance and a group of students performed an act inspired from the Kargil War in the form of Dance. All the acts were very entertaining and informative. Garima ji along with the Management of the school shared their vision of the school. They were really great hosts. 2 in 1 Activity Sustainable Health with Sustainable Forests Today, ISCI Foundation in partnership with @jodoindiasocialfoundation had an #interactive session with Girls of Govt Girls Senior Sec. School, Bada Haider Sahab, Dholpur where girls were given #awareness on #Menstrual #Hygiene by Dr. Renu Agarwal Mam with Distribution of #reusable #SanitaryPads and Making of 7500 #SeedBalls by the girls. On 21December, just a day after our last activity, volunteers of ISCI Foundation headed to Govt. Girls School in Teh. Saipau in the district of Dholpur, Rajasthan for making a sustainable #positive #impact on the health of 250 girls along with a sustainable impact on the environment with the help of those 250 girls. This program was done in association with @jodoindiasocialfoundation where girls together made 7500 #seedballs and were given 250 #reusable #SanitaryPads with an awareness on #MenstrualHygiene .
