Heavily recommending any and all people who come across this post take a minute and block @/candycrowbar. they've been actively harassing other users as well as sending death threats, threats of IP tracing, and racial slurs (you know which one) for the past few days over content in relation to The Boys.
apologies for putting this in the tags, but i feel like getting this out to as many people in this space as possible to ensure she doesn't abuse even more people is the correct decision here.
i'm going to put screenshots below the cut. Heavy trigger warnings of like every type past this point, but receipts are very much necessary for things like this:
Harassment of a user, followed by an anon that uses the exact same insults and throws in the n-word at the end:

I'm sure I don't have to point out the similarities in text styles nor the repetition of insults for it to clearly be @/candycrowbar
Harassment of another user, containing wishes of violence, death threats
Harassment of another user, death threats, threats of violence

Past this point is speculation, but, due to a repeated typo, similar insults, and the fact they were sent the same person as the first few screenshots above, I believe these anons are also @/candycrowbar.
again, these are speculation, but the erratic, volatile behavior and choice of wordage feel incredibly similar.
if anyone has more to add here, including any of her alternate blogs, please reblog and clip it below a readmore. people need to stay away from this person and not engage whatsoever. block her and take away her amusement because she's clearly getting her jollies from harassing people.

I really don't care what any of you MFs say to me. This man's S1 hair was everything, and whenever I think of Homelander, it's this. This is not to be debated😭

I HAVE BEEN THINKING THIS FOR HOURS.
Like I ship Frenchie and Kimiko. I think they would be cute together. But as far as the Canon narrative....It doesn't feel good to me at this point. Storyline wise, This season focused a lot on Frenchie and Kimiko coming to terms with their pasts. It's about forgiving themselves for the things they've done.
But both of those storylines feel unfinished? Imma rewatch S4 to better understand them after I let it all rest in my brain a bit longer. But it feels like Frenchie and Kimiko had their own shit going on, but that was dropped to focus on them reconnecting. It feels like a sudden plot shift in my eyes.
I can also go on for HOURS about how introducing Collin changed how I view this ship. And to be clear, I don't like Collin/Frenchie as it is now. Collin came in too late in the game and should have been dating Frenchie since S2 or the end of S1. But Imma Yap about that later
*The Issue with The Boys S4 Finale*
Kimiko and Frenchie shouldn't be a romantic relationship.
I adore their friendship so much and I can make excuses here about wanting representation of healthy emotional and bottom-line platonic relationships in media [because 9/10x the two besties of different sex end up in love] but really it's just because I don't want them together.
I think it's not "them" if that makes sense. They are platonic soulmates, and if I could change one thing from the ending of S4, it would be their romantic arc. And quite frankly, I think Kimiko screaming for Frenchie being kidnapped would've hit me harder [which is saying heaps because I just about cried and screamed].
In terms of representation, it would have been a great example of how love comes in many different forms. Showing how the love of true friends can be as deep and consuming as romantic or family bonds. Coming from someone who doesn't experience romantic attraction, I want to see more of that in media, personally.
This is an imo post.

I have returned to this blog to Yap about the boys....No I'm not gonna make sense. Mind the tags♡
Now that I've had hours to think on it.....Hughie should have actually fought with Annie in the Finale. No, not a fist fight or a breakup. But there should have been WAY more pushback from Hughie. And the fact there wasn't.....Is lowkey upsetting to me.
For one: Yes, I don't really care for Annie. Never really have, never really will. She's not my cup of tea. But this post ISN'T about bashing her. I think that Annie's lashing out makes complete sense. She's been kidnapped and was tortured for ten days. Shifter literally used the fact that Hughie proposed and she fucked him to torment her. I don't dislike Annie's reaction because it does make sense in that moment.
I dislike Hughie's reaction.
Hughie has been taking life like a champ this season. He seems to handle everything with grace. That's not a bad thing but everyone has their breaking point. And this feels like, from a narrative standpoint, should have been Hughie's. Within less than a month, Hughie had to deal with his family Trauma, killing his dad, having his personal business exposed(With the abortion, it is MORE of Annie's personal business. But Hughie was the father of that child, and they seemed to be in it together. It won't be as bad for Hughie, but of course, he felt something.), being sexually assaulted by Ashley and Tek, Almost being murder by Tek and threatened with more sexual assault. That's a lot! Now he found out that he was sexually assaulted again and his girlfriend was locked up who's know where for a week!
That's not mentioning that Hughie was also showing signs of a Trauma response. Hughie mentions constantly having sex with Shifter but Shifter initiated. Despite that, I read this more as Hughie being hypersexual in order to ignore his issues. Shifter initiating just made it easier on Hughie so he didn't have to do it himself. Which is a thing some people do in order to not get called out on that behavior.
After realizing that his Girlfriend has been replaced and he almost died(again), He gets to talk to Annie again. Annie snaps at him and Hughie defends himself a bit but goes into this whole tangent about how he also knew Shifter wasn't Annie? Or how he figured it out in the end? What?
For one, I don't really know what this information would do for Annie. Like I guess it would show how much Hughie loves the small things about her? But within this moment it feels like a nothing burger to me. For two, Hughie has every right to be straight up and actually defend himself. Like what the fuck did Annie expect him to do? Lashing out at him isn't fair because neither of them did anything wrong. And if not that, Hughie should have just left completely with an explanation that being a punching bag for Annie in this moment helps neither of them. Annie isn't in a good state of mind so she's not gonna care about Hughie's feelings. But that doesn't mean Hughie can't protect his own.
But they just completely skip over that with an "Lmaoooo Mens do like the Smexy sexy time! But he likes all the little things about her lol". Then they follow it up with Annie not apologizing. No. That wasn't an actual apology. Lowkey saying that you would still fuck someone and not breaking up with them, ISN'T an apology. She might have done it off screen because they go on to being cool by the end of the finale. So I'll give her that.
All of this just combines to a narrative that doesn't take men's mental health or assault seriously. Hughie should be a loving boyfriend, but it's perfectly fine for him to set boundaries and not be punched down on. This all gets worse because we saw the effects of Deeps' assault on Annie. It was a part of her development and treated pretty seriously. But when it's Hughie.....It's treated like a joke or a nonissue.

I'm sad about Grace, but also not really. Everyone in Ryan's life(besides Becca) has constantly looked at him as ANYTHING but a child.
Homelander sees Ryan as His and his Do over in a sense. Ryan is HIS son and, therefore, must fall in line with Homelander's thinking constantly. Ryan straying from that, and struggling with it is often met with annoyance and dismissal from his father. When Homelander has a moment of Self awareness(Not a good one but still), he tries to fix it and does kinda. But he falls back into aggression when Ryan isn't feeling how he thinks he should. To Ryan, it comes off as performative.
As far as his being his second chance goes, Homelander literally gives Ryan everything he probably wanted as a kid. Attention, all the latest gadgets and coolest snacks. This farther pumps Homelander's feelings of entitlement to how Ryan understands things.
Butcher and Grace tried to see Ryan as a child. And for the most part, they do. But the fear of him becoming Homelander 2.0 hangs heavy over the playing field. In their defense, that's a concerning thought. But the way they go about it literally makes it more likely to happen. It's more so on Grace here, but clearly, Butcher also thinks about it because well....we see it through Joe.
To them, Ryan can be a weapon and an effective one at that. So good of an option, Grace was willing to kidnap this 12 year old boy AFTER truthbombing him about how shitty his father is. This whole scenario to Ryan is what Homelander has been doing for months. Love Bombing him to make him feel safe and happy. Then when he does, Try to force him to understand a fucked up ideal.
What sucks is I truly believe that all the adults here love Ryan. It's just that they are so wrapped in their trauma and adult matters to properly show that love to him. Even worse, Ryan is a child who didn't ask to be created and tossed into the storm. He was put there because of the choices that adults made. As an adult who was once a child that went through similar....I just want the best for Ryan tbh.

Okay but.....Sam.
I've noticed a trend with some roleplayers that are in circles that are close to my circles.
You either get Sassy Gay bestie stereotype. Who takes Bucky's (Or Steve's) bullshit without question or fail.【Bottom/Sub Sam】
Or you extremely Angry Black man stereotype. Who is always snapping at Bucky and is insensitive to his feelings and trauma.【Top/Dom Sam】
And as someone Who writes Sam to be Verse but Top leaning and doesn't focus on that in favor of keeping his character in tack......I'm fucking confused.
#sambucky#sam wilson#mcu#marvel#Bitch what-#No shade#But if you're gonna write a character#write them correctly#a ramble tbh

Lola is a black trans person in Nigeria who has once again been thrown out of their semi-stable housing without explanation (the reason undeniably being transphobia).
Nigeria is not safe for any queer person of any kind.
Lola has been having difficulties securing stable housing for months now. The last shelters she was in kicked her out after she tried to report transphobia.
She needs help, urgently, for food, HRT, and rent.
Please help in any way you can.

Reblog if you have changed your tumblr URL at least once during your time on the site.
This is a serious thing. Im curious how many people over the course of year(s) kept the same tumblr handle. A ton of the people I follow have changed their over time.
As far as I know Im one of the few who havent. Few being relative as there are millions of tumblr users. But yeah.
Social experiment.

Just watched Love and Thunder and....Lord. i have Thoughts. But I wanna rewatch the flim, give it another shot and then comment fully. But first I wanna talk about Jane....SPOILER WARNING
Okay I want to start this by clearing up that I do not like Jane Foster in the MCU. I honestly don't find her character interesting or useful past the first Thor movie. That being said, I'm not here to trash on Jane. I'm here to just give my honest opinion. Anyways....
Did anyone else think the ThorJane in this film was just.....weak? Like they kinda tossed it in? I don't mean Jane as a character, I mean The romantics of it. Because from what I saw, Everytime we see Jane in regards to Thor....She is kinda indifferent? She kinda seems like she's happy to see him and be around him. But not in a romantic way. On the flipside, Thor sees extremely caught up on Jane the whole movie. Its very clear to me that Thor still loves Jane.
And then the ThorJane boat scene happens and it just feels.....Outta place? I thought Jane was going to admit that she has moved on from her feelings for Thor and wants to be friends. Thats honestly were I though the scene was going. But they kissed and it just feels like Jane's feelings for Thor just...poofed right up. Which is....weird. Because the whole rest of the Movie(All the ThorJane parts.) is Thor basically proving his concern and love for her.
Admittedly the discussion could be had that Jane was more focused on the mission at hand. But that kinda....falls flat for me. Because she didn't even hint at it from what I saw. Its not her hiding it, it just wasn't there.
I wanna know what you guys think. Keep in mind that I am rewatching the movie later on to check myself.

Rolling back in the MCU fandom to rewatch all the Disney+ Shows and talk shit about them hahaha....Joking.
Seriously though, My brain is fuckin mush due to other stresses so this and watching all 15 seasons of Supernatural is my coping mechanism. So.....get ready to see Hella posts from meee.
The first Show I'll be rewatching is....Sigh....Loki. Yes I hate this show but I also have a soft spot for it. Loki debuted June 9th 2021, The same day I married my wonderful husband. A lot of shit went down that day and all I wanted to do was watch that first Episode. I did....but I was extremely upset and it was a coping mechanism to keep me level. So the first Episode of Loki sits VERY dear to my heart and I find myself wanting to rewatch the Series. But I get disappointed every single.....Fucking time. Sigh.

I......Wait.....Don't they have a kiss scene in this show?!
"He looks at her like he looks at his mother-"🤮🤮🤢
When you hire people who cant agree on what the show is about

It seems to me like Herron is trying to cover up the fact she fucked up. She was pretty vocal about the fact they wanted to make Loki fall in love with his female self from the beginning, then she said the relationship is more platonic. Its like she saw reaction of people online and saw she fucked up & tried to save her ass. Waldron on the other hand is clearly so full of himself he just cant or dont wanna see he fucked up and continues to proudly spread that shit about their romance.

Is breaking up with a fictional character a thing?
Like… moving on and realizing that they served their purpose to get you through whatever it is you needed to get through?
Thanking them, but always feeling some sort of way if you ever see them again in passing on this hell site?
