So... can we get some Louie in uniform 😩🙏
Also reader has a love-hate relationship with him. But he is madly in love with her.
"Hating love"
Genre: fluff
Warnings: Brief MENTIONS of war.
A/N: Did you say....... UNIFORM????? *SLAMS FIC ON THE DESK* HERE IT IS👀👀✨✨✨✨✨✨✨👀👀👀👀 Also, I hope I was able to portray the dynamic you wanted correctly, between Reader and Human!Tauxy 😅❤️❤️ BTW: I gave him "Monet" as a last name. Don't take this as anything canon that I will be doing in every fic!! As in... If you guys want me to give him another last name in some other story, of course I will!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️ I just happened to use that one in this fic! Enjoy!!❤️❤️ (I was listening to "Work Song" by Hozier, while writing this fic 😭✨🌹)
Tumblr media
Carrying a pile of dry laundry in my arms, I returned inside the house from the back garden, humming a carefree tune to myself, my shoes padding softly against the floorboards of the hallway.
I rounded the corner, heading for the master bedroom, where Mr and Mrs Monet reside in, intending to change the bedsheets into the new and fresh ones madam had bought a few days ago from the marketplace.
But my tune was cut short and the laundry slipped through my fingers, when I collided with someone, while keeping my gaze low.
My instincts were a tangled mess of trying to grab the newly washed bedsheets and trying to grab onto something to steady myself.
My fingers curled into rough fabric and grabbed onto a lapel, the laundry caught by one hand that did not belong to me.
I looked up...
"A lovely welcome, I must say," The voice was smooth and gentle, like caramel gliding down the side of his lips and... He smelt like caramel. Caramel with a mix of gunpowder from the battlefield and cologne. And this pair of dark and gorgeous eyes... Are just like I remember them. Deep and all consuming. "my little lady."
I hurried to step away, grabbing the laundry from his hands. "You're back." I said, holding my breath.
He smiled, bending down to pick up his hat and rising back to his full height, readjusting the hat with the shiny crest on his head. "You know," He stepped closer to me and pressed his gloved hand against the doorframe, the black leather material creaking faintly against the wood. "those beautiful wide eyes are my favourite part of coming home."
I cleared my throat and slipped away from him, stepping out of his shadow and clutching the laundry to my chest.
I always try to avoid him, because he messes with my head. He's gorgeous and he's charming, but he's also infuriating. He can see right through me and he knows which words to use every time. To make me smile, to flatter me, and all that it...
Unnerves me. It makes me defensive.
I lose control over my own mind and I hate it. Thus, I do my best to avoid him.
But when he's away with the army... I miss him and I hate myself for just how much i miss him. How much I miss it, when he's not sitting out in the garden, painting. How much I miss it, when I don't see him dripping honey into his steaming tea.
"You'll stay for dinner tonight." He said, guessing it more than questioning it. "Right?"
I gripped the doorknob of the bedroom door tighter, the cool metal digging into the skin of my knuckles.
He was looking so so deeply into my eyes, part of me wanted to fall into his arms and remain there, face buried in his military uniform. Never let him leave with the army again. Never let him go. Only...
Only be honest with him. Love him. Let him love me back.
But was his interest even genuine? Or a means to pass the time and not think about the bloody sights of war? I've doubted him many times, I fear. I still do.
"It's my first day back." He said, his tone gentle and soft, a kind smile on his face, which made him look like the teenage boy I used to go to school with, once again. "And, well, my parents consider you family..." He paused.
Do you? I wanted to ask him. Do you?
"I do too." He replied and I almost lost my composure, my pulse picking up speed. He had answered my unuttered question.
But isn't that what he is anyway? The answer. To everything. To heartache, to loneliness, to dreams, to love... To a warm place to call home, even if that's not necessarily four walls.
"I would like you to be there." He said, his smile broadening and becoming that much sweeter.
I breathed in deeply and nodded. "I guess, I will... Be there." I said, voice quiet. I sighed. "I will be there..."
{•}{•}{•}
Red wine sloshed around my wineglass as Tauxolouve poured it and I did not dare to look up, knowing what I'd find.
But once the flow of the alcohol stopped and the aroma caressed my senses, I did. I looked up, as he was setting the bottle down.
His eyes flickered up to me and he smiled, his Cupid's bow begging for me kiss it, feel it with my thumb and feel it on my cheek, like I tend to dream about some nights. He winked.
I hurriedly looked back down at my wineglass and took a sip, locking my feelings away and shielding them with forced indifference. As if I didn't care. As if I wasn't affected.
"My boy," His father spoke. "I'm so happy you're back with us." He reached out and ran a tender hand over his son's hair.
Tauxolouve smiled. "And I'm happy to be back too." His eyes flickered to me discreetly. "With those I love."
"How about a cheer?" Tauxolouve's mother raised her glass, the wedding band on her finger shining under the flames of the candles lighting up the dining room. "To good news."
Everyone at the table raised their glasses in the air and the clicking of the rims was like a song of tiny bells.
The chatter around the table was lively, the words light and bright and Tauxolouve was there...
His chair was once again occupied and his laughter lingered in the air, like the scent of freshly brewed coffee.
He was here and he was safe...
But for how long.
My fingers curled further around the stem of my wineglass and my stomach clenched.
"I heard there's a lovely play tonight." Tauxolouve's mother spoke, her voice warm and mature. "Would you like to go, Louie?"
Tauxolouve's eyes glimmed. "Oh, but of course. You know I'd love to." Tauxolouve's heart will always belong to art. He's a lover of paints and canvases and pictures that feature words you cannot read, but feel.
He's always loved going to watch plays with his adoptive mother too. He loved to join her ever since he was a small boy. And growing up, the people of the town would often see him accompanying his mother to the theater, offering her his arm to hold, like the gentleman he is.
"You'll come too, of course." His mother said to me.
"I don't know if—" I tried to say, gently.
"Come on." He said and hushed me with one look. Two words only. "We may pay you, but that doesn't mean you're a servant here. Please." He said, leaning his forearms against the surface of the table and leaning in. "Come with us? It's a warm night tonight..." He said, almost whispering, as if trying to ensnare me.
I looked down at my wineglass. It was almost full, which meant that alcohol was not to blame for this... "I'll come, if I'm not added weight. I thank you for the invite." ... This answer.
He smiled and leaned against the backrest of his chair again. And I hated myself. I hated my feelings and my mind, that kept obeying my heart. I hated my hands for shaking. I hated my knees for bouncing nervously, my heart for racing.
And most of all... I hate him. I hate him for making me love him so unequivocally. So senselessly. And so... So pointlessly.

Shattered Armor
Tumblr media
Request: @mairablue Hi 💞 Are you still taking requests for spin the wheel event about Adrian? I got the prompt, "He fell first". Can you please write a story with the prompt? Thank you!
AN: Hi friend, thanks for requesting! Please do excuse my own inner angst for this one but this was so cathartic to write.
Genre: He fell first
Pairing(s): Adrian Tepes x female Reader
Summary:Long ago Adrian had walked away from your world. World that never slept. Run by meetings, contracts, profits, grind. Adrian had left it for his mother’s cafe. To the world that smelled of roasted coffee and Mediterranean sandwiches. A glimpse of himself is perhaps what attracts him to you. Like a moth to flame, his heart follows.
Tumblr media
Adrian remembers your coffee order as if it were etched into his mind.
Grande, half-decaf, oat milk latte with two pumps of hazelnut, one pump of vanilla, extra foam, and a light sprinkle of cinnamon on top. Exactly 135 degrees.
It was etched there from the first time you walked into his cafe. Typing away on your phone, a Bluetooth headset snug in your ear, you barely glanced at him as you rattled off your intricate order.
You had the air of someone important, busy, and detached. A person who lived in a world that never stopped spinning. Adrian had immediately dubbed you a corporate asshole in his mind.
That’s what he thought as he made your coffee the first time.
He resisted the urge to roll his eyes at your request, even as he worked to make it perfect. But when you tipped fifty dollars with a casual shrug and moved on without looking back, Adrian had to pause.
Who was he to judge?
When he brought the coffee to your table, he’d planned to offer you a free muffin as a gesture of goodwill after that mountainous tip. But as he approached, his words faltered.
Gone was the polished, confident figure in an expensive suit who had walked in just moments earlier. Instead, you looked small, as though the weight of the world had folded you in on yourself.
You were slumped back in your chair, staring blankly out the window. The person who’d walked in moments before had vanished, replaced by someone far more vulnerable.
Your shoulders were hunched, your hands limp in your lap, and your eyes, distant and red-rimmed, spoke of a weariness that felt all too familiar.
Adrian had frozen, caught off guard by the rawness of your expression.
He knew that look.
It was the same one he used to see in the reflection of office windows late at night. Back when his days were filled with meetings, contracts, and expectations. Back when the weight of his father’s company pressed down on his chest, even in the rare moments of stillness.
World was harsh to all. But it made itself harsher for women. It forged the might of iron to shape them into the form that it deemed acceptable.
Long ago Adrian had walked away from your world.
Without a word, Adrian swapped the muffin for a sandwich. Sugar wouldn’t help someone who looked like they were barely holding it together. He set the plate down quietly, careful not to disturb you, and slipped away before you could respond.
Yet he saw it, the way you glanced down at the sandwich, brows furrowed in confusion, before hesitantly picking it up. Your movements were slow, deliberate, like someone unaccustomed to acts of care. Adrian had watched from a distance as you chewed, your expression softening ever so slightly.
You come during the quiet hours now, always slipping in like you’re sneaking moments away from something relentless. Adrian watches as you sit by the window, eyes tracing the slow crawl of traffic. He notices the way your shoulders loosen as the minutes pass, how the tension drains from your body in the comfort of the cafe’s stillness.
He doesn’t ask questions. Instead, he keeps leaving sandwiches by your coffee. Most of the time, you don’t finish them. He often finds the leftovers in the bin or in your hands as you leave, your fingers brushing crumbs from your lap.
Adrian doesn’t know why you linger in his mind. Maybe it’s the reflection of himself he sees in you, the person he once was, drowning in a world that demanded too much. Maybe it’s the quiet grief that clings to you, invisible to everyone else but glaring to him.
What he does know is that every time you walk out the door, holding a sandwich you’ll probably forget to eat, something inside him twists in ways he thought he’d left behind.
And so he keeps watching, keeps waiting. Because in the stillness of the café, he’s found something he never expected: a tie to someone who reminds him of what it’s like to need saving.
Tumblr media
Patrick Len sent a meeting invite.
The notification flashes on your phone just as you’re about to place your usual order. The familiar chime of the Slack app makes your stomach turn, and for a fleeting moment, you imagine hurling the damned device off Mount Everest.
You suppress a groan, the simmering frustration bubbling beneath your skin. You’d just told Patrick about your lunch break, a rare and sacred 30 minutes of freedom. Yet here you are again, accepting the last-minute invite with the same resigned flick of your thumb.
As you place your order without even looking up, your mind replays the mechanics of your daily grind. The way your gaze always seems glued to your phone, your head perpetually bowed as if in servitude to the towering skyscrapers of the corporate hub that looms over your life. Every day, they press down on you, making it harder to breathe.
This time, you put your phone on silent with a little more force than usual, slamming it onto the table and fighting back the prickling sensation behind your eyes. You will not cry. Not until the handsome barista brings your coffee, at least.
By now, Adrian has probably witnessed a dozen of your near-breakdowns. Would one more really be that surprising?
There’s something about this cafe, though something that makes it impossible to hold back the cracks in your armor. It’s far enough from the looming heights of your office, just a 15-minute drive that feels like a lifetime away. Here, you don’t have to sit under the shadow of your desk, with its endless agenda waiting to devour your soul.
Here, you can breathe, if only for a moment.
You glance out the window at children skipping home from school, their laughter floating into the street. Middle-aged women huddle together, their grocery bags heavy but their conversations light. Dogs prance by with their owners, tails wagging, paws pattering. And then there’s Adrian, the barista who brings you the best sandwiches you’ve ever had, always with a smile that feels unearned.
In this tiny pocket of the world, no one is watching for your cracks. No one is calculating the sincerity of your smile or judging the perfect precision of your project briefs.
It’s liberating and miserable all at once. Liberating to step away from the chaos, but miserable to know how fleeting it is, how high the price is for chasing your so-called dream.
A silly dream, stubborn and relentless, the kind you can’t quite let go of no matter how much it costs you.
This cafe has become your refuge, the only place you allow yourself to slip from the relentless mold of perfection. A place where you let the cracks widen, if only a little, as you sit and let the world drift by.
Yet, this cafe is where you dare to let go of your shattered armor. And allow your nurse Joy (yes Pokemon Go had some great gems here) to allow you some healing with the most amazing hummus dressings.
The $50 tips? Excessive, even by your standards. But you leave them anyway, for Adrian. For the barista whose eyes follow you with a softness you can’t quite understand, like a puppy waiting for a reason to stay close.
And maybe, just maybe, that’s why you keep coming back.

Karno ♋- Breathtakingly Gorgeous
For fluffbruary event ( @fluffbruary )
A/N: Today is Karno's day!🥺💗💗💗 Hopefully i did him justice. I hope you enjoy reading this!🌹
Prompts: urgency | kneel | rural
9th February, 2024
~~~
The rain poured down from the sky, like water flowing down from waterfalls. Not a single soul could be seen outdoors.
Leaning against the wall a man stood with a pen and some papers in his hands. His gaze was focused at the sight of the falling rain.
What was he thinking, Leon wondered? Placing his hand on Karno's should he asked, "What's on your mind?"
Karno stood motionless, as if only his physical form was present there; his mind was elsewhere. Leon tapped on his shoulder.
Karno finally replied,"I have been thinking about her...a lot." His honest answer brought a smile on Leon's lips.
"Why don't you tell her, how you feel?" Leon suggested.
"I will." Karno replied nodding his head in agreement. "But first i need to grant the wishes on these lists."
Leon knew how serious Karno was about his responsibilities since childhood. So Karno's answer brought a delightful smile on his face. He softly patted Karno on his back and said, "Well of course."
-
Karno sighed as the last wish on his list disappeared after being granted. As if reading the change in his mood, the images on the reflecting pool shifted; and showed you, walking down the road in a rural area.
Karno snapped his fingers.
Untouched by the rainstorm, this land was dry. The Sun shore brightly, bringing warmth to one's soul as they walked by. Green fields filled one's vision as far as the eyes can see.
An enormous house stood on the right side of the road. It's large glass windows reflecting the sunlight.
Standing there Karno pondered whether he should go inside or not. He still had the chance to leave after all, didn't he? Not a single soul would know that he came here.
"Karno?!" a delicately, soothing voice brought him out of his thoughts. You walked upto him.
A lighthearted smile graced on your lips, "Why are you standing outside?" you asked. Before Karno could reply you took his hand in yours; leading him inside the house.
"Make yourself comfortable." you said. As you were walking to the kitchen,"I will bring some tea and snacks."
The delightful aroma spread across the room as you walked in. Two cups of tea and some cookies on one plate and some chips on the other were on the tray; which you kept on the table.
You sat next to him on the sofa. "I hope you like our special tea." you said.
His face lit up as he took the first sip. "Thank you for the tea." A thankful smile adorned his face.
"Is there something you wanted to tell me?" you asked. There was a strange feeling in your heart. A combination of hope, fear and excitement. Whatever he was about to say is extremely important, you thought.
"I wanted to tell you about my feelings." He peered at you, carefully noticing, each and every expression that crossed face. His intention was to share his feelings, not to scare you or to make you uncomfortable.
Kneeling in front of you, he snapped his fingers. A vibrant rose, blue in colour appeared in his hand. " (Name), i love you." His gaze locking into yours.
"Don't feel pressured to accept my feelings. Do what your heart tells you." he said as the reassuring smiled appeared on his lips. The stars glowing brighter in those warm, gentle eyes.
Kneeling down infront of him, you wrapped your arms around his shoulder and hugged him. "I love you too." you said as you accepted the rose; putting it in your braid.
" How do i look, sweetheart?" you asked in a flirtatious tone. "Breathtakingly gorgeous." he replied earnestly as he softly kissed you.
Tauxolouve ♐️ - The Letter
A/N: Finally posting another fluffbruary story. 😭🤧 Hopefully it turned out alright.
For fluffbruary event - ( @fluffbruary )
Prompts : euphoria | cloudy | sophisticated
14th September, 2024
~~~
Your opened the envelope as quickly as you could without damaging the contents inside. Unfolding the letter, you started reading.
Written in bold and crisp hand writing the letter started with a question "My dear, how are you?" The corners of your lips curled up as soon as you saw that. The letter informed you in details about the journey and about the achievements. You felt the overwhelming sensation of pride and joy, grew within your heart.
Eyes glued to the paper, your heart beat quickened. You took in fast, shallow breaths as you read the words- "I shall be returning next month, on 7th Monday."
You stopped reading and took a deep long breath, closing your eyes as you exhaled. It seemed all the tension from your shoulders had been gently lifted.
Then onwards, you read a bit slow, relishing every word that has been so loving shared on that paper.
After carefully folding the letter, you brought it against your lips and softly yet quickly kissed it before putting it back inside the envelope. You picked up the photos slowly, making sure not to accidentally scratch them.
He and his teammates, looked so happy smiling at the camera. Your eyes lingered on his smile, for a brief moment.
The other photo was taken in a library, you assumed as there were massive shelves, all filled with different types of books. He held an open book, eyes focused on its pages. He wasn't looking directly at camera. Perhaps one of his friends had taken the photo. You put the photos inside the envelope before putting it inside the box, that you had so lovingly used to store all the letters close to your heart.
A gush of sudden cold wind hit your face as you opened the window. You tucked the strands of loose hair behind your ears and smiled softly, watching the sky turn cloudy and grey.
-
You had been feeling giddy all week; the euphoria rising in your heart. You would have had a difficult time describing your feelings in words if someone would have asked; when Tauxolouve open the door.
The affectionate look in his eyes, his gentle smile which brightened as his eyes look upon yours; it had taken all the restrain in your being not hold him close in a tight hug. He stood there stupefied. Until your father smiled softly and said, "Hello, Mr. ( last name )." He quickly composed himself and politely greeted your parents before inviting you all in the house.
He introduced you to his parents and some of his relatives, who had also been invited along with some close friends of his parents.
Soon conversations began and the snacks were being served. You wished to assist his mother but she firmly refused saying you should relax.
Once the dinner was over and the conversations were reaching their conclusions the guests congratulated Tauxolouve and his parents on their way out.
You two walked back to the front gate to see off his aunt. She gently took your hands in hers and wishpered, " I hope to be invited to the wedding soon." You blushed slightly at her words as a mischievous smile graced her lips.
Once the guests had all left, you two slowly walked back to the living room.
" I agree with you on that, Mr (your father's name)", Tauxolouve father said laughing. You assumed it was one of your dad's famous jokes which he loved to tell. They seemed to be enjoying their conversation as you mother said something next, which made them all giggle in delight. Not wanting to interrupt, you two quickly wished them all and left to rest for the night.
-
Changing into something more comfortable you sat on the bed waiting for Tauxolouve. The door opened and Tauxolouve walked in wearing loose clothes. His hair was slightly wet. Few droplets of water dripped down from his neck length hair onto his shirt.
He sat beside you and brought his arms around you and gently hugged you. "I missed you, my love," he said before placing a kiss on your forehead.
You looked up and softly touched his cheeks before bringing his face closer to yours for a kiss. He eagerly kissed your back, savouring the feeling of your lips against his.
You weren't sure where to start, what to ask first. There was so much you wanted to tell him, so much has happened in the past 3 years, so much you wanted to learn from him, so much you wanted him to share with you.
Sensing the conflict in your heart he gently held your hand, " We have time ahead of ourselves, love. Let us rest for now." He smiled at you, awaiting your decision. You nodded in agreement and returned his smile.
You were lying on your sides facing each other. His heart felt light as he spoke. He told you about his work in the university and a bit more about the research and the culture of that foreign land. You were immersed in the conversation and asked a few questions here and there, which he gladly answered.
"Feeling sleepy, my love?" You asked as he struggled to keep his eyes open after some time. "A little bit" he said sheepishly.
"You should sleep. We can continue this conversation tomorrow."
He laid on his back, in a more comfortable position. You started running your fingers through his hair, gently stroking his scalp. A relaxed smiled appeared on his face as he slowly closed his eyes.

Cafe Light
Tumblr media
Genre: Fluff and comfort
Paring: Platonic Adrian x Reader
Summary: As you were diligently wiping the counters, he walked in. For a fleeting moment, it felt as though your former self had materialized before you.
Tumblr media
We all have to bear the weight of pain to truly grasp its essence, to discern its nuances, and to learn how to mend it for others. Perhaps you had already embarked on the path of healing. The inviting scent of freshly ground coffee beans, a balm for the soul, had the power to divert your mind from the looming past, a shadow that had once clung to you relentlessly. You carried the scars, yes, but they had transformed into a subtle background melody, no longer the jarring cacophony of yesteryears.
As you were diligently wiping the counters, he walked in. For a fleeting moment, it felt as though your former self had materialized before you.
His broken nose, a perfunctory frown etched into his weary face, chipped and stained fingernails, and clothes bearing the indelible marks of a harsh existence - all these characteristics aligned as he stood before you. For an instant, he appeared uncannily familiar.
"Welcome in," you chimed, gracing him with a smile, an offering he evidently hadn't anticipated. Expecting hostility to be the only retort to his presence, his initial frown slowly faded in response to the warmth that enveloped him.
Significantly younger than you were when you'd dared to seek a glimmer of hope, his apprehensive gaze scanned the array of treats before him. "How do you like your coffee, or perhaps you'd prefer a non-caffeinated drink?" you inquired, extending the offer of a fresh start.
"I have no money," he blurted, yet his eyes remained entranced by the array of delectable cakes. "You don't have to pay. Please, take a seat," you urged, and he cautiously perched himself at your counter.
His movements were marked by uncertainty, as though he awaited a scolding for merely existing.
"What is your name?" you gently probed, beginning the preparations for a drink much like the first you crafted when you found your freedom.
"Adrian," he whispered, a name that the world might have endeavored to obliterate relentlessly, yet it endured.
"I have nothing," he voiced his despair once more. "I don't even know if I'll have the breaths I draw for myself." Without meeting your gaze, he focused on his trembling, folded hands.
A youth, scarcely of age, already broken by the unrelenting violence of gangs. "Here," you offered a glass of warm milk, more comforting than any fancy concoction you could brew, capable of soothing wounds deeper than any surface scar.
Adrian downed the glass in the blink of an eye. "You can work here. You're free to use the studio upstairs," your words hung in the air, their weight sinking in. As you watched, tears welled in his eyes, his quivering lips revealing the immense emotions he held back. Soon, his sobs overtook him, and he hunched over your counter, his vulnerability laid bare. His figure trembled as he tried to regain his composure, and your hand, a reassuring presence, gently patted his shoulder as you consoled your newest employee.
"But first, we must mend your nose," you declared, enfolding the sobbing man in a comforting embrace, offering not just healing for his broken nose but also a path towards a mended spirit and a brighter future.
Tumblr media
Cafe Light, a hidden gem nestled among many in the neighborhood, is unremarkable for its beverages or snacks. It lacks extravagant decor and breathtaking views that set it apart. Yet, it boasts the most exceptional staff.
Baristas with hands bearing scars but eyes brimming with hope. Muscular individuals who handle cutlery with the utmost gentleness, and sharp-eyed waiters who can effortlessly juggle more than four cups at once.
People gravitate to Cafe Light in search of kindness, for within its walls, even the most wounded hearts extend the warmest of welcomes.
Longtime residents of the neighborhood often speak of the café's owner, a young woman who once arrived with a pocketful of cash and a tattered jacket amidst a raging storm.
You, who toiled tirelessly, dedicated long hours to construct everything from the ground up. You meticulously taste-tested every beverage in collaboration with neighboring businesses. They witnessed you sleeping in the frigid shop when others returned to the comfort of their homes.
And for that reason, this neighborhood treasures Cafe Light.

if ur still taking requests... could i ask for zyglavis soothing MC to sleep? 💗💗💗
SCM- DEPARTMENT OF PUNISHMENT
ZYGLAVIS ♎️ - Sleep Well, My Love
A/N: Thank you for requesting anon. I hope this story is to your liking. 😊❤️
The rain fell heavily, making unpleasant noise as it hit the window. You were lying on the bed. Your eyes were tightly closed as you tried focusing on your breathing to calm your mind.
You knew, it was surely past midnight.
Tomorrow you had to wake up early, revise the documents one last time before handing it over to Lady Irianna. Then wait anxiously as they evaluate your work.
-
'Zyglavis? Are you done writing?'
Looking up Zyglavis met the eyes of his mentor. "No, sir. I- "
His metor raised his hand indicating him not to continue the rest of the sentence.
" You should take rest. We will complete the lessons tomorrow." He said as an affectionate smile graced on his face.
Reluctantly Zyglavis stood up and closed the book and notebook and snapped his fingers, putting them in their designated place.
" Thank you, sir ", he said before quietly exiting the room.
On his way to his room he was greeted by some of the rain drops them were carried by the wind. Which felt refreshing against his skin. He stood there in the hallway, gazing at the distant trees of the forest. Strangely enough, he thought of running out in this heavy rain shower and seek shelter in the woods leaving behind all his troubles. Will he be at peace there, he wondered?
Slow footsteps could be heard coming in his direction. But he was too engaged in his own thoughts to try and figure out who was there.
The footsteps came to a halt near him. Sensing the presence of his beloved, he turned around and smiled. She returned his smile; intertwining her fingers with his.
Hand in hand they walked back to their room.
-
" Can't sleep? " he said gently brushing a strand of your hair. " I am a bit worried..." you admitted.
" You have given your all. The result is not in our hands." He said trying to take some of the stress off your mind and placed a kiss on your temple. "Close your eyes, my dear."
You felt calm under his touch as he began stroking your hair.
He sang an old lullaby, from the peaceful days. The lyrics, telling the tale of a forgotten time somewhere in a remote valley hidden by the great walls of a mountain range. His voice gently guiding you; where you may rest in a peaceful slumber until the sun rises again.

My Boy Is Back! 😭🤧
Thank You So Much!!!! 💜💙
"Two different worlds" Part 7
Genre: fluff
Warnings: none
A/N: I'M BBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!! AND I'M HERE TO RUN FUCKING BERSERK!!!!
Tumblr media
The sun had risen higher in the sky, signaling the arrival of the afternoon. The city had awoken fully, people filling up the streets and now, walking amongst them, you realized just how small one could feel in the crowd, when from the reflecting pool, everyone seemed like mere pebbles.
"Are you sure you're feeling alright?" Tauxolouve asked, turning to gaze at you as he walked by your side, his features bright and detailed beneath the sunlight, his irises now easier to define from his pupils.
You nodded with a reassuring smile, your stomach tingling at the way he cared so genuinely, so purely and selflessly. "I am alright, don't fret over it."
"Okay, but if you feel any sort of discomfort, you tell me immediately, alright?" He said, looking deeply into your eyes with expectation coloring those beautiful features of his, a small shadow casted on the cupid's boy of his lips, right beneath his nose.
You nodded once more, your hair swaying slightly in the process, tickling your cheeks. "I promise, I promise...!"
When you reached the store, Tauxolouve walked in the front, his feet knowing where to lead him, though his steps were steady and calm, no rush or aggression in them, as you followed after him.
The two automatic doors slid to the sides, the moment he came close enough and your breath hitched, your eyebrows rising, startled.
Tauxolouve spun around to gaze at you, blinking of concern. "What happened?"
"Nothing. Nothing happened...!" You said, trying to act calm and as if the automatic doors of the building had not caught you off guard just now.
"I heard you gasp." He said, taking a step closer to you and placing a gentle hand on your shoulder.
"I just... Tripped!" You lied and chuckled nervously, clasping your hands in front of you, upon your crotch and upon your dress, which swayed a little in the warm afternoon breeze, along with some strands of your hair.
"I see." He chuckled and shook his head with a soft smile on his face. "Well, aren't you a clumsy one." He sighed, but his gaze was impossibly soft. In fact, so soft, you could feel the blood rushing to your ears, your heart pounding quickly and with vigor. "Please, be more careful from now on, okay?"
"Okay..." You nodded, gazing up at him with your head slightly lowered, your eyes craning up to look into his own. In this moment, you felt more like a child than anything else, being reminded by a kind man to be more mindful of your daydreaming mind while skipping around the gardens.
Stepping into the store, you gazed around you, the aisles illuminated by a bright light, which reflected onto the polished floor, the hue of it leaning just a little to a more yellowish accent.
Tauxolouve grabbed the handle of a shopping cart and began pushing it forward as you followed him, now truly feeling like a child, fascinated by the items displayed all around you. Colors, shapes and textures of all kinds were showcased across the length of the aisles and you found yourself lost in those items. Something so ordinary for humans, that they tend to avoid, seeing it as nothing back a chore—a routine—was something exciting and borderline exhilarating for someone like you.
"Hey! Lou!" A male voice called out to him, successfully drawing said man's attention to the source of it and even going the extra mile as to pique your own interest as well.
"Ah, hello hello!" Tauxolouve smiled at the man at the other side of the aisle, smiling at him in his usual pleasant, beloved and comforting manner, kind wrinkles forming at the corners of his eyes.
"Where have you been lately?" Tauxolouve's acquaintance asked, while taking off his glasses, using the hem of his cotton shirt to clean them up a bit. "I haven't seen you around much at our usual coffee shop."
Tauxolouve chuckled, using a pen he had in his pocket to scratch off the peaches from his grocery list, which was a very wrinkled paper, with rushed handwriting, resembling the man's racing thought and determination to not forget the essentials. "I'm quite busy lately..." He paused, thinking of a humble way to put it. "Creating!"
"Really...!" The man at the other side of the fruit aisle put his glasses back on, his smile and raised eyebrows mixing with the light falling down from the light bulbs above. "I'm so glad. See?! I knew you could get through it! You're back at it again!"
The kind wrinkles at the corners of Tauxolouve's eyes multiplied, as he smiled in response, touched by the latter's genuine support.
Tauxolouve and you spent some time in the super market and every time Tauxolouve took a turn in one of the hallways, you'd feel like falling deeper into a rabbit whole, filled with colors shapes and faint scents, a calming rhythm playing in the back of your head from the speakers.
Your footsteps took on a more musical character, your head a swaying along with the melody as you hummed to yourself.
Tauxolouve gazed down at you just then, his lips curling into a fond smile. "I've never gone shopping with someone who enjoys it that much." He chuckled softly, pushing the cart towards the cashier. "In another life, I wish I am passing you by at the store. Because you'd be a stranger I'd never forget, after having such a glowing expression, in a sea of gloomy ones... And I don't want to forget you in any life."
Your heart shuddered at those words, your eyes opening somewhat wider, your lips parting, but no words coming out. Your body felt warm to its core, but it wasn't a boiling warmth emanating from lust and physical attraction. It was the comforting warmth of a soul reach out for someone else's.
***
Tauxolouve and you returned to his house and put away the groceries, before he prepared a bag with the elderly lady's goods and you headed for her house, the sun still warm above your heads, as if watching over you—whether out of fondness or from gossip, unknown to you—as you walked by Tauxolouve's side, his shadow blanketing you.
The artist rang the doorbell and you waited.
You gazed around you, smiling softly and admiring the sweet sight. The house was small and the garden even smaller and yet, it harbored such a homely feeling, that when the front door of the house opened and the old lady stepped out, it felt almost natural for you to feel like her grandchild.
The elderly lady was like a doll, fragile and sweet. Her clothes were smooth and she was leaning on a cane, her round glasses making her eyes appear a bit bigger. She instantly smile at the sight of Tauxolouve, a toothless smile, but an endearing one nonetheless. "My boy! Thank you so much...!"
"Don't mention it, really." He replied kindly, handing her the shopping bag and as she leant in to take it, her perfumed smelt like childhood memories and candies secretly shoved in pockets, along with black and white stories, which sounded more like legends than reality to cherubic ears.
Her eyes, which were behind the magnifying glasses, turned to gaze at you. "And who might you be, my sweet?"
You caught yourself smiling instinctively. "I'm (name). It's nice to meet you."
The elderly lady's toothless smile turned into a grin and then looked up at Tauxlouve, chuckling proudly. "Oh, but your girlfriend is so pretty. Like a rare flower."
"She's not—"
"Wait. Don't leave just yet." She interrupted Tauxolouve. "I have something to give you." She said and slowly, leaning with her back a little hunched against the cane, walked inside.
"I'm..." Tauxolouve turned to you, a sheepish, bashful smile on his lips. "I'm... Really sorry about this... She can get a little... Too excited at times."
You chuckled, your eyes squinting and capturing the rays of the sun like they were diamonds. You shook your head. "It's alright... She is very nice, I know she was just happy to think that we-..." You hushed, your stomach experiencing tingles and your heart increasing speed.
Just then, the front door opened again and the elderly lady stepped back out, a tray filled with cookies in her wrinkled hands, her wedding ring from her late husband flickering like a fallen star beneath the sunlight. "I made these for you. I'm sure they're enough for the both of you to enjoy."
Your eyebrows rose and your smile was somewhat emotional, as if reliving a memory of your own past, feeling yourself shrink back into a toddler and look around the house for grandma's hidden chocolates, as she gave you playful hints to enhance your exhilarating game.
"Oh, you didn't have to...!" Tauxolouve shook his head, but smiled despite all that. He too was enchanted by the elderly lady's thoughtfulness and sweet nature. "We thank you."
Once the elderly lady had gone back in, Tauxolouve and you walked back to his house, while he carried the silver tray of cookies, with the endearing and sweet aroma, which made the senses imagine a warm hug or a protective fireplace in front of a sofa.
You were walking behind him, walking calmly, smiling to yourself, as today's memories flashed through your head like a vision, made of clouds and dreams and children's undying hopes.
You gasped suddenly, the tip of your shoe getting caught just as you raised your foot to climb up the staircase. You stumbled, but didn't fall, your right foot feeling suddenly cold underneath.
Tauxolouve spun around and looked down at you, following your line of sight to your shoe, that had fallen off.
You were about to walk towards it and put back on, when Tauxolouve made his way down the stairs quickly. "Wait, wait!" He said, seeming slightly frantic about something, as he brought the tray with the homemade, baked treats closer to you. "Please, hold this?"
"Oh, sure." You said, carefully taking the tray from him, finding it quite heavier than you expected.
Then... Tauxolouve rushed down the staircase and picked up your shoe, before walking back towards you with a smile, that made your heart shudder and hum. "Here." He bent, crouching down on one knee. "Let me help you put it on."
You chuckled, wanting to bury your face in your hands to hide how warm it felt, but your preoccupied hands prevented you from it. "Tauxolouve...!"
"Come on!" He chuckled lightheartedly, holding up your shoe for you. "Have you never dreamt of being Cinderella for a moment?"
You didn't know who Cinderella was—even if you'd heard it before, you couldn't recall the information now—not when Tauxolouve was on one knee, offering to help you put on your shoe like a prince that leaped out of your fantasies and into your reality, as if there really was someone out there granting the wishes of the gods.
With a bashful smile, your lifted your right leg and softly slipped your foot into the shoe.
"Now now. A proper princess..."

Imagine needing to do something and leaving your younger sibling with Maedhros
Tumblr media
Something came up, so you leave your younger sibling temporarily under Maedhros's care.
Warnings: Maedhros has a pretty neat time with a baby, the orcs, however, have to deal with you.
--------------------------------------
*Maedhros arriving at the tavern*
Maedhros: Hey, (Name). Sorry, I'm late.
*He sees you bouncing a baby on your knee*
You: Hey, Maedhros.
Maedhros: Why do you have a baby here?
You: This is Anna. She's my younger sister from my father's second relationship. Me and my siblings agreed upon a babysitting routine ever since the incident, and today ended up being my turn.
Maedhros: *Sitting beside you* Oh.
You: So, I hope you do not mind her being here.
Anna: *Giggles at the sight of him*
Maedhros: Not at all.
*Your friend comes up to you*
Your friend: (Name), we have a problem. We have an orc in captivity but he refuses to tell the location of the camp, and we are suspecting that they are holding prisoners. We need your help with the interrogation.
You: *Groans' Motherfuck----!
You: *Look toward Maedhros* Maedhros. Can you watch Anna while I'll go deal with that? I promise I will be quick.
Maedhros: Of course…
You: *Hands him the baby* Thank you. I already fed her and cleaned her from the last potty break, so just keep her entertained. It shouldn't be a challenge.
*You hand him Anna and then leave the tavern with your friend*
Maedhros: *Looks down on the baby on his lap* I guess it's just you and me now.
Anna: *Giggles*
*With you*
You: *Stands in front of the orc* Alright, you deformed pig of satan. You better start talking or it will be ugly for you.
The orc: Piss off, you human scum.
You: *sigh* Well--- you can only blame yourself for what happens next.
The orc: *Gulps in fear when you grab a hammer*
*With Maedhros*
Maedhros: You know, you're lucky. You have a good family to look after you and all you can do is just be a baby and do adorable things. Me on the other hand have to deal with six problematic adults with attidute of ill tempered toddlers.
Anna: Bah~
Maedhros: *Nods in agreement* Exactly.
*With you*
The orc: *Screaming in pain while you crush his fingers with a hammer*
You: Ready to talk now?
The orc: I will gut you once I'm free!
You: *Strikes his fingers with a hammer*
The orc: *Screams*
*With Maedhros*
Maedhros: *Bounces Anna on his knee*
Anna: *Laughts in joy*
*With you*
*You beat the orc with bare hands*
The orc: Stop! Stop! Stop! I'll tell you!
You: *Stop* I'm listening.
The orc: The camp is at the edge of the forest, hidden within a cave. The prisoners are locked in these wooden cages.
You: Now was that so hard?
*With Maedhros*
Maedhros: *Lets Anna play with his hair* I know, red is a fascinating color, isn't it?
Anna: *Puts his hair in her mouth*
Maedhros: *Chuckles* Don't eat it. It's not good for you.
Anna: *Pouts at him*
*With you*
You: Alright there's the camp.
*You and a group of rangers spy on the orcs that were guarding the entrance to the cave*
You: Just fuck them up and free the prisoners.
*With Maedhros*
Maedhros: *Holding Anna as she sleeps on his chest*
Celegorm: *Appears in the tavern* Hey, Maedhros. I thought I could find you here.
Maedhros: *Sends him a death glare* Wake her up and I will kill you.
*With you*
*You and your friends raid the orc camp*
An orc: Intruders! Run away!
You: Oh, you are not going anywhere.
*With Maedhros*
Maedhros: *Feeds Anna food after she woke up hungry*
*You return to the tavern*
You: Hey, was she any trouble to you?
Maedhros: *Hands her back to you* Not at all. She behaved very well. She was easily entertained by the few stories I told her.
You: Lovely.
Maedhros: Did you manage to handle the problem with the orcs?
You: Yes. It took longer than expected, but they're now gone and the prisoners are safe.
Maedhros: Impressive. If you can handle something like that in a few hours, then maybe I should hire you to handle my problems.
You: Only if you're willing to babysit more. I already have enough trauma with you and your family sharing your problems with me.
*Maedhros chuckles as you two then spend the night peacefully with Anna*
