I'm always trying to figure out what breakfast is best for me. What fills me up, and what gives me energy until lunchtime. My latest experiment was with Chia Pudding, and let me tell you, it is FABULOUS. I combined two recipes, one from @valeskavoiges and the other from #theminimalistbaker. Chia seeds have got to be my favorite superfood! There is so much you can do with them and they have seemingly endless nutritional benefits. Accompanying the chia seeds in this pudding is homemade almond milk, raw cacao powder, dates, maple syrup, cinnamon, sea salt, and served with greek yogurt, raspberries, walnuts, coconut flakes, and banana slices. So I've wanted to make my own body-care products for a while now... Face masks, soap, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner. I've had an AMAZING experience using simple plant and earth based ingredients/products to literally #heal my skin and hair. Mostly just coconut oil. I'd say that my life is pretty unconventional. After a year of college I was recruited to study a Chinese medicine-based body work at the other end of the country, and since then I've been experimenting with life. I get bored really fast and always want to do and learn new things. Sometimes it gets me in trouble, when I get overwhelmed with the amount of things I have going on. My mission is to find what I love to do as a career-I have no idea what that is right now, but I'm working on accepting that rather than getting upset or trying to rush things. The newest addition to my life is being an instacart shopper! I decided uber driving was just a little too boring, so I'm gonna try shopping for groceries 😜 While my pottery is bringing in some 💰 it's just not quite enough... Plus this business seems super cool!! For all y'all who are feeling lost and confused about where you're going, I am so with you. While it's hard to be in that lost, insecure space, it's also a gift.
