Lots of thoughts recently. Everything feels plastic.

I could go on and on about why all that AI "art" is bad. I could mention theft, lack of creativity, it's impact on the work field and environment, but countless people have already said all that. I wanted to touch on something that to me is the most utterly wrong about all of it.

Art is more than just something pretty to look at or listen to. It's therapeutic. It's a form of communication. A tool for human connection. It's a pure, human need.

You ever get a craving for a certain art medium and have to scramble for something to do with it? Yeah same. ANYWAY this took a week and it kicked my ass and when my dad walked in he said “Is that perspective collage? Going feral over redesigning and rewriting Marinette from Miraculous Ladybug.

I'm not ok. This whole damn thing needs a serious reboot, starting with changing EVERYTHING

In my version so far I've made Marinette a home-schooled girl who recently transferred to an actual high school (most likely starting junior year) which explains why everyone already has their own groups, know each other, and why she's the oddball who's a bit naive and awkward but has good intentions

Also 100% Tikki broke out and chose Marinette to be Ladybug who was dragged kicking and screaming into unwanted responsibility
