Shake - Start your Career

Shake.io is trying to help people who are graduating to find jobs and paid internships. The process is simple: as soon as you start filling out your profile and adding stories to it, you’ll get matched with relevant opportunities. 

Given that the internship space is filled up with upright exploitation and therefore ripe for some disruption, it’s great to see that Shake embraces some solid values:

Luka, natural language restaurant guide

Luka is an app that helps you make reservations at restaurants in natural language. And for the launch of their app they thought of a special thing:

They get you a table at the hottest restaurant in San Francisco at State Bird Provisions without standing in line for 1.5 hours. In their own words:

State Bird Provisions is a restaurant in San Francisco that’s famous for great food and lines that start at 4 pm everyday. Luka makes it easy for you to get a table the day you want it at the time you want without waiting in lines and calling at midnight 2 months ahead to make a reservation.

Luka looks like a promising way to make restaurant reservations and we're glad they chose iubenda to power their privacy policy.

The Coolest - Cooler 2.0

The Coolest is a cooler product that has had a very successful Kickstarter campaign. It includes everything to help you turn your bbq outside into your life's biggest party.

Let me just list a couple of things that the cooler integrates: storage for plates and knife, cutting board, LED lights for when it's dark, re-charge your gear wherever you are with a waterproof USB charger, 18 volt ice-crushing blender, accessory deck compartment and more.

Airmail 2.0

There's no shortage of email apps, web based email & desktop apps. We're glad that one maker of an app we are using ourselves has adapted iubenda's privacy policy.

Airmail is an email client that focuses on speed and ease-of-use and since the release of their version 2.0 it has received a host of new features:

and much more

Somewhere - find somewhere you fit

Imagine you could see how the world works — what people do, why and how they do it. Peek into the working lives of people & companies from around the world. Share what you do and find the people you should be working with.

This is how Somewhere self-describes their services. Somewhere is an interesting mix of Linkedin and Tumblr in which companies or individuals publish their work patterns or anything that's on their mind.

Midroll - Podcast Advertising

Midroll is that company that helps people transform their hobby into an actual business. Or at least they can help pay for a lunch or two. Isn't that the best kind of business to be in? I personally think so.

Midroll helps monetize podcasts:

HuBoard GitHub project management

When you work with your team on GitHub you can use a standard project management application to coordinate the workload, OR you can use a project management system built for GitHub: HuBoard. 

HuBoard includes many handy features like Kanban boards, filtering, drag to assing, and integrations with third party services such as Slack.

HSTRY - Bringing history to the digital classroom

History was always my thing in school. Therefore I'm happy to feature yet another very interesting iubenda subscriber: HSTRY. Their job is to bring history lessons into the 21st century with all of the digital tools available in today's classrooms.

Death to the Stock Photo

Death to the Stock Photo is one of those sites that successfully act against the terrible state of stock photography by providing a monthly dose of usable images.

By subscribing you get a monthly package of images sent to you for free. If you want more out of the service, you can subscribe to a paid feature that includes an extra pack of photos each month, exclusive only to premium members and access to all past and future packs online.

It's a great service and we're happy to supply the privacy policy as a service.

BatteryBox - External Battery Powered by Software

if you work outside of the office in trains, airplanes, cafes or other locations that have problematic or no power-outlets you know the problem: a draining battery for phones and notebooks.

BatteryBox aims to solve this problem by providing a battery powered by software that makes sure the product stays young and doesn't degrade after years (!) of use.

This certainly is a bold statement and if it's true this could just be the next accessory to help my iPhone stay charged through the day.

Keezy - Phone Music Toy

Keezy is an app for the iphone that allows you to record 8 sounds and then replay it in order to make music. May sound interesting, it is.. 

Watch one of the videos they've made to understand how it works and what's possible. I think it's quite a remarkable app and we're happy that Keezy.co runs our privacy policy on their site.

Loqo - Sell your music directly to your fans

Loqo allows you as an artist to sell music directly to your fans by providing the platform that automates a lot of the tasks. Some of the features include:

High fidelity audio (upload the audio in various formats)

Responsive design (makes sure the site looks good everywhere)

PayPal and credit cards (get paid by PayPal or into Stripe accounts)

Promote anywhere (embed widgets, share on social media)

In-depth analytics (get some valuable insights)

The site is still in early beta, but it looks great from the outside. This is a ver y good use case for iubenda and we're happy to serve the privacy policy.

OPENGOV - Financial Transparency

OpenGov allows governments and communities to do exactly what the name suggests: the sharing of financial data and business intelligence. According to them it serves 3 main purposes:

access and understanding of the data

increasing internal efficiencies

build trust and engagement with constituents

Since it's open, it allows a formidable look at well known American cities such as the city of Los Angeles, the city of Palo Alto or the city of Mountain View.

We're glad they chose to use iubenda for their own transparency needs.

Goldee - Smart Light Switch

Goldee is a smart light switch that controls your light in various ways: it switches on and off, is controllable via hand gestures and it changes the colors based on the surroundings (time of day).

Photojojo - Gifts and Gear for Photographers

For most photographers Photojojo needs no introduction. They've been around since 2006 with their well known newsletter, store, groups and what not. We couldn't be happier to have Photojojo sporting iubenda's privacy policy in "clean 'n' simple and hopelessly complicated versions" as they put it on their site.
