If she didn't know any better, she'd think she could hear the ghost walking, but she didn't dare peek around the tree to check just yet. Part of her is disappointed that it may not be a supernatural being, but it's quickly overwhelmed by the knowledge that a human wasn't better. Feeling the ground between them, she found a good sized rock to toss to the far left and hopefully trick the ghost into leaving to investigate.
