The pragmatic façade of Al Hamriya Area Municipality lends itself to a story told in three parts, where the traditional heritage of the Emirate of Sharjah, encompassing coastal history and the emirate’s economic growth over the last 5 decades leads into scenes of Sharjah’s present prosperity and success followed by elemental displays of the next 50 years. A Journey of Legacy decorates the structural columns of the building with a blend of visually dramatic polychromatic bursts of color, geometric flowers, and futuristic forms to bring focus to the marvelous achievements and engaging future of Sharjah.

Title: The Harmony of Islamic Motifs.

Duration: 10-minute 

The transcendental exquisiteness of the Sharjah Mosque is the focus of a story showing the beauty and harmony of Islamic motifs, unique and timeless underlined with fast digital designs that infuse the show with a contrast of evolution and speed. The stunning Islamic architecture is showcased in Act 1 where a spiral of light, representing the ‘initial vision’, comes together as though through shifting sands. Act 2 showcases the ‘present’ with digital lines, bright colors, and calligraphy referring to speed, progress and development while Act 3 utilizes simple lines made of light, delineating the platforms of the mosque – an assured, harmonious introduction to the ‘future’.

Artist: Fouad Jader

With a diverse background in a variety of mediums such as painting, photography, filmmaking, advertising, and digital art, Moroccan multidisciplinary Visual Artist and Event Creative Art director, Jader specializes in Video Projection and 3D Mapping on domes, exterior buildings, and interactive performances. Influenced by Moorish architecture, Jader’s expertise in Advertising, visual communication, and design underlines his focus on 3d architecture, design identity, and cultural diversity. Jader has participated in many international festivals; Opening of Cosmo lights 2020 projection mapping competition, 3D Mapping Show for the Endurance Cup, Dubai, a 360°3D Dome Projection-Mapping, Jeddah, KSA, Sharjah Light Festival 2017, the 8th International Projection, Mapping of Odawara Castle, Japan, 1st International projection mapping in Kavala, Greece and UNITY Projection Mapping in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
