Announcement

Hey guys. Firstly, a happy new year to everyone! I hope this will be the year that so many good things happen for everyone. So, I’ve been thinking. I know I’ve been very inactive for the past months and im going to share why.

 I’ve been using tumblr for probably about 10 years now. Over these 10 years I have had multiple blogs and have always posted Fashion related content. I originally had a blog called mulberry-cookies which was pretty popular, but it was hacked at about 60k followers. 

Since then, I made this blog, jai-by-joshua, which has definitely seen lots of success as well. I made these blogs because i love fashion and i really enjoyed sharing with you guys and getting to know so many of you. As the years progressed i felt like this platform has lost its groove. The site is mainly filled with bots and porn spam and im not enjoying posting  anymore. 

It saddens my heart to say that i will be going on a break and no longer posting on this page. I don’t know how long this break will be...might be forever. But i will be back eventually(hopefully) 

I have met some amazing people through the past 10 years and im so grateful to everyone who followed the blog and actively engaged. Thanks so much for everything.

Research

• My work was influenced by mexican fashion photographer Jvdas Berra, particularly his projects “Drowning Princess”, “The Blood Oracle Mexico’s Next Top Model” and “In the Realm of Dreams”. I believe his work evokes the beauty of drowning while my own represents the overwhelming darkness as an effect of flooding emotion.
