Even though everyone told me that Fridays are bad days for Kickstarters, I wanted to have my witchy game go live on Friday the 13th. It worked out!

I finally did it
I convinced two people to let me read My Immortal to them and do a podcast about it. Maybe not the most unique idea, but it was a goal of mine!!
They both came in knowing next to nothing about it, and their reactions have been EXCELLENT. We treat the subject very seriously, too. Sometimes too seriously for how completely unserious the fanfiction is. It's not about making fun of it as much as it is examining it and analyzing it from a literary lens. But there's plenty of jokes.
It's called Food Court Book Club and you can find it on all the podcast places. Here's the Spotify link!

I was gonna Google something I didn't know but I forgot the thing I was gonna Google as soon as I opened up the search, so now I don't only not know the thing but I also don't know the thing I don't know.
I double don't know. I'm worse off than I was just not knowing.

Neanderthals were whipping up meals in their caves based on flavor and processing plants so they’d taste the best. Like, they were in there making stews and sauces and things. They weren’t just eating ingredients, they wanted things to taste good too.

S.A.D.
In Chicago right now, the sunrise is at 7 a.m. and the sunset is at 4:30 p.m. and my brain wants to make that my problem.
All because some bug scientist from New Zealand wanted more daylight to look at bugs. Fuck you, George Hudson, no one likes you.

All year I've been compiling a list of things my husband says he wants for Christmas. I just looked at it, and here are some highlights:
Hulk Hands
The Coffee Table Book from Seinfeld
A bomber hat
Miller Highlife champagne bottle
A t-shirt of George Costanza posing next to a coffin
A tastevin (you know, those things sommeliers wear)
