occasionally i get a transphobic message along the lines of ‘your parents must be so dissapointed in you’ and like. sure i gotcha i am a weird looking guy with weird hobbies but in the context of my actual parents…. my father is an experimental theatre expert and critic and my mother spent her twenties and thirties working on feminist organic farms across the world. if i was interested in dissapointing in them i’d join the military, being a transsexual artist is barely offensive
