i know I’m drawing neya a lot bUT HEAR ME OUT

i wanted to try and draw the itsuwaribito characters with outfits inspired by the symbols theyre associated with throughout the story (neya and flowers, utsuho and foxes, uzume and white wings, choza and butterflies, etc) (i have no idea what to do with yakuma :/)

if you have suggestions for other ones i would love to hear them!!

it’s been a pretty long time since I’ve made an OC almost feels like its been over a year eeheHEHehhe but here I've got one!!

i have no idea why i like making girl counterparts to Choza and Uzume yet here we are :/ i don't think i'm going to make her Uzume's sister this time even though i kind of made her look like it but I do want her to be from Ashihara!!

Personality-wise, while I was drawing her I kind of imagined her being quite withdrawn. She would seem timid when you first meet her, which would then greatly contrast with later scenes of her beating the living daylights out of people who are in her way. My personal image of her is she would serve as a kind and unassuming figure who just wants to avoid unnecessary trouble... right up until you threaten her or anyone she cares about, then she becomes a monstrosity

She won't have as tragic of a backstory as Uzume, but I think she will most likely be alone. And as she is aware of her own strength, she would probably make a living for herself by doing... services ahem mercenary ahem

BUT! If I were to make an actual story out of this, I would say that hers is similar to Tsubame in that their special abilities and lack of proper support systems forced them into a life of violence, and all they really want is to vibe and live their lives smiling with the people they love except as of the beginning of her story she's probably completely alone

Also I don't know what I was planning for this but I made her katana seem kind of bright and fancy as a setup to reveal later that it was a gift from someone that she may or may not have lost somehow

And in true OC fashion, I have no idea what to name her. You can definitely suggest a name based on the vibes if you so desire ☺️
