Avengers: Endgame came out five years ago today. Tony and Nat have been dead for five years. I am not emotionally ready for that.

YES! The point was that the small division that they had over this gave Zemo an opportunity to tear them apart.
”team iron man was completely in the right” “no team cap was” they are both right and both wrong. that is the WHOLE POINT of the movie.

ca:cw - steve not telling tony about his parents was not a right thing to do but it made sense for his character. tony wanting to beat up bucky was not a right thing to do but it made sense for his character.
the reason you cannot make me, personally, take tony's side in this, is that i see his reaction as too agressive and i get that he was mad and he had every right to be, but bucky killed his parents while he was barely bucky, while he was being tortured and brainwashed, and i will never see it as appropriate to try and beat him up for it. (maybe get a punch in and never talk to him again, sure, but not whatever that was)
but again, it makes sense for tony's character. and there was foreshadowing! there was a brilliant piece of foreshadowing! during the airport fight!
when vision blasts rhodey out of the sky, who does tony take it out on? sam, the original target! which shows that when someone tony loves gets hurt, when he feels hurt and angry, he needs to take it out on someone, preferably someone close and available. and he won't really think through how much they deserve it, if at all.

Marvel Theory:
In Loki, only certain events are enough to set off a new timeline. This would mean that some events either must always be the same, or that two things can be true in one timeline at the same time. Thus, the Mandela effect.

Was anyone on the old Scholastic Forums back in the day? Specifically the Wings of Fire ones. By back in the day I mean around when Darkness of Dragons and The Lost Continent were coming out. I have weirdly formative memories from that site, and I want to find someone to reminisce with.

So I was watching CACW today, and in the scene where Steve and Tony are fighting in Siberia, I was actually wincing with every hit that they landed on each other. I know they're just movies, but the stories mean so much to me. It feels like I'm watching people that I know and love beat each other up. When I say I love these movies and characters to an unreasonable degree, this is what I mean.

So when they were younger, Steve and Bucky definitely spooned, with Steve as the little spoon. They did not change this habit once Steve became buff. I will not be taking constructive criticism on this.

There's a story here of monks with shaved heads and black robes, tending to the dead and protecting the living, but because they spend so much time with the dead, they are made outcasts. No one sees their contributions, and instead shun them as evil or bad omens.

Vultures are holy creatures.
Tending the dead.
Bowing low.
Bared head.
Whispers to cold flesh,
“Your old name is not your king.
I rename you ‘Everything.’”

Even better, since the Norse don't have any place for their kids to go until they're dead, Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter both let Norse kids come in and train with the Greeks so they hopefully don't end up as tragically as some.
Do any of you ever wonder if Camp Half-Blood accidentally brought in a demigod of a different pantheon before?
This would be especially hilarious if it happens sometime after The Last Olympian/Heroes of Olympus, where the gods are required to claim their kids quickly.
A whole day passes, and the new demigod needs to sleep in the Hermes Cabin and Percy is furious. Meanwhile, the Greek Gods are pointing at each other and shouting, contacting the most obscure of mini gods. Chaos erupts on Olympus as every deity in Greek Mythology is called upon and interrogated. Hermes hasn't run around so much in centuries.
Hecate sits in silence, fully aware of what's happening, but enjoying the show too much to intervene.

Okay, but when Luke pretended that he was hurt, and Percy immediately apologized, only for Luke to immediately turn around and injure Percy... I had to pause and just go aaaahhhh. They got their characters so right.

My Thoughts on the PJO Show Season Finale:
The Luke betrayal scene was fantastic and I loved everything about it! I love the way that they had Luke really trying to recruit Percy to fight the gods. Also, having Annabeth there was a wonderful addition that actually enhances the story.
Poseidon showing up to save Percy in the nick of time was also great, and I liked the little moment that they got together.
However, I do have several issues with this episode. The fight with Ares really didn't feel like the climax that it was supposed to be, and it was over pretty quickly. Also, the brief mentions in the background of earthquakes and storms would have been even better if they had built it up through the whole season like it was in the books.
And Smelly Gabe... They cut him out almost completely, but not quite, which just had a bizarre effect on the show. They mention one time that Percy and the gang are being pursued by the police, and it literally never comes up again. They also just left out the thing about Sally marrying Gabe to protect Percy, which was a very important part of the story. Also, I don't think that this version of him at all deserved to get turned to stone.
I'm glad that this season was better than the movies, but I'm really hoping that we get some improvement in Sea of Monsters.
Episode 8: 8/10
Season as a whole: 6/10

My thoughts on the PJO show episode 7:
The beginning felt a little wonky. I wish that they had given the Procrustes bit more attention, along with Charon. I get that that's probably a time thing, but Charon was so cool in the book and he got so little here.
Cerberus is the best boy. No notes. They even kept that he's a rotwiler.
On that note, though. They clearly know what they're doing when keeping small details like that, but on big picture stuff things just get changed for no reason. Why did Annabeth have to get taken out of the picture? Why did the master bold have to appear five minutes earlier? It doesn't improve any of the storytelling. At best, it baffles the book readers, and at worst, it ruins what were great moments in the book but are now undercut by baffling changes.
Small rant aside about the show as a whole, I thought this episode was really good, and I'm very hyped for the last one of the season.
7/10

Hello sorry to bother you with this all of sudden ,and this might be coming out of nowhere, and I’m not trying to force you but I m trying to get more people into this show with great potential. If your not interested it’s fine but Have you heard of or watched moon girl and devil dinosaur? Season 2 comes out February 2.
The main character i love she gives me autistic vibes I’m autistic. The show has interesting characters, action ,great music, and animation ,good themes and representation, Anime references, it even has an eyecatch season 2 is going to be more story driven if you find that interesting.
It be good if you watch the first 2 season 2 episode when they air so the ratings will be higher. And watch the other season 2 episodes when they air.
I think Disney might be trying to sabotage the show with them probably dropping 14 episodes on Disney + on February 3. They did similar with season 1 and the ratings where low ,please watch season 2 episodes when they air on. But more importantly also watch it on Disney + on feb 3 and when they air it on YouTube. Unfortunately they are dropping 14 episodes on Disney + so watch them all in one day but also when they air the first time.
I’m not just saying only cable just also. I’m saying please support this show. Despite that it still won 5 Emmys. Also if it’s no trouble could if it alright with you spread the word about this show to others you know like either online or irl. Time is limited!
Tumblr media
I'll definitely give it a watch. I know my brothers really like it, and I'm a big super hero fan myself.

My thoughts on the PJO show episode 6:
I now must confess that I don't actually remember what happens in this part of the book. Mostly I can't remember how many pearls Percy was given, and that would change things significantly if he only got three in the book (which I think is what happened).
Other than that, I felt pretty eh on this episode, however I liked it a little more than last week's. I liked that they showed Hermes's power, something that wasn't really done with any of the other gods we've seen so far. I think that the way they did the Lotus casino felt a little underwhelming, but I understand that it would have been really difficult to show the characters losing their memories without it being really clunky.
I'm really excited to see the underworld next episode!
