The Power of Outreach
Medical missions extend their services beyond hospital walls, reaching people where they are. By deploying healthcare workers to impoverished areas, these missions ensure that people receive the care they need without the barriers of cost, distance, or social stigma.
Mobile health clinics take this outreach a step further, delivering sustained and structured medical care to those in need. But what exactly is a mobile health clinic, and how does it work?
In this blog, we’ll explore the importance of medical missions, what mobile health clinics are, how they operate, and the impact they have—especially on street children. We will also highlight Childhope Philippines’ KliniKalye program, a mobile health initiative that ensures street children in Metro Manila receive the medical attention they need.

What is an Inclusive Learning Environment?
An inclusive learning environment is a space where all students, regardless of their background, abilities, or learning styles, feel welcomed, valued, and supported. It is designed to foster equity by recognizing and accommodating diverse learning needs while promoting a sense of belonging. Unlike traditional classrooms that may follow rigid teaching methods, inclusive environments prioritize adaptability, cultural responsiveness, and student-centered approaches to education.

International Day of Children in Street Situations (CISS) 2024
Children living on the streets are among the most at-risk individuals in society, struggling with challenges like poverty, abuse, and neglect. The International Day of Children in Street Situations (CiSS), observed every April 12th, aims to highlight their struggles and advocate for their rights and well-being. This day serves as a crucial reminder of the need for global efforts to support and protect these vulnerable children.
In support of this cause, Childhope Philippines welcomed eight representatives from the Pasig City Social Welfare Department and 25 officers and members of the Pasig SK Pederasyon on April 11 and 12. During this two-day training event at Bayview Park Hotel Manila, participants took part in Childhope’s Street Education and Protection (STEP) Program Training Series 1: KalyEskwela Operations.
