So basically I’m taking a break from my theme blog and making themes and just focusing on pages for now because theme making is completely difficult. This just came into my head a while ago and i made this in like 30 minutes. For the blogs/roleplays that need a FAQ page, here you go!

What a shitty graphic. I only have ten minutes though.

So basically, since people like to complain that POC have no GIFs, and are just not readily accessible face claims: this is a pledge to make them readily accessible. As helpers, we need to everything we can to make our community safe, diverse, and awesome. We cannot allow white-washing to swallow us up. As such, take the fucking pledge already.

We pledge to make this happen by:

creating GIFs of POC face claims

creating GIF hunts of POC face claims

create PNG downloadable shit of POC face claims

suggest POC face claims even if they don’t have GIFs because not all roleplayers use GIFs.

have a tag on our page with all of these readily available for any roleplayer to use

suggest POC face claims when people ask for suggestions (unless they specifically want someone white)

It would be awesome to see more pledges like this. More people committing to making this community more diverse; be it through this or pledging to use more face claims of a variety of body types, genders, etc. 

Common solution to a common “problem”. So let’s help solve it.

So, the plot isn’t really a plot, it’s just a setting. All of the sets of twins live in Charleston, SC. They’re all going to College of Charleston. They’re all tired of living in their siblings shadow. They’re all a big group of friends who live in the same dorm building. Everyone gets along with everyone; except for their twin. The purpose of this roleplay is character development. You can make it as you wish. You can have your character make up with their twin, you can have your character hate their twin. I don’t care. Just have fun and follow the rules and understand that they all live together.

Dear Admins,

Nobody cares if you’re bored

Nobody cares about what you’re currently eating

Nobody cares if you’re stressed out because of exams

Nobody cares if you have to go and take a shit

Stop posting these informations on the main page of your roleplay for heaven’s sake! It makes you look sloppy. It makes you look lazy. It makes you look unprofessional.

And because I’m currently in the mood, here have a few other tips that should be common knowledge and that will turn more serious roleplayer away if you don’t follow them:

Stop posting a gif under every reply that you do, every question you answer, every post you publish

Start tagging your shit right! You can leave a message on your main that you will be gone for a while, if you delete it when you’re back, but stop tagging it with “rp”, “roleplay”, “oc roleplay”, “original roleplay”, etc. IT DOESN’T BELONG IN THAT TAG AND IF YOU DO THAT I WILL BLOCK YOUR ARSE BEFORE I EVEN LOOKED AT YOUR STUPID RPG! - This goes for accepting apps too. They have nothing to do in those tags!

Be friendly! Making jokes about someone who asks you something isn’t nice and lets you look like a douchebag.

Delete hate messages. Ignore them, don’t post them. Just delete them without another comment and another thought.

I’d recommend you to NOT use a monochromatic theme, because, yes, it looks unprofessional and even if your plot is the best of the best, I won’t read it because I ran away after seeing that theme.

And this is it, for now. There are a few other tips floating around either, but this is all I needed to get off my chest right now. 

Apologies for swearing, but my patience was thin today to begin with.
