like to take walks with my daughter throughout our neighborhood. Although I miss some days if the weather is poor, I try to make an effort to go around our area and point out any flowers or bugs or interesting bits of nature I find along the way.

And I think the habit has rubbed off on my daughter.

When I went for a walk the other day, my daughter stopped me at almost every bush and flower along the way. Better still, she pointed out the bees that were flocking to a particular bush that I wouldn’t have given much attention. The bush itself didn’t seem particularly attractive at a glance, but up close, I found it had teeny tiny flowers.

And the bees were working very hard at gathering as much as they could from every little flower there. It was a great opportunity to take a few more pictures of my bee friends.

So I realized that I hardly ever post to my Tumblr anymore, and I decided to try and change that - at least for a little while. I want to get back in the habit, so I’m sharing some of my photos that I share on Instagram and on my website Jennibeemine.com.

Hey there! I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted on Tumblr. I’ve just had a lot of stuff going on lately and I’ve been keeping busy on my Instagram accounts @jennibeemine and @jennibeedoodles.

Anyways, these are some ideas I have in the works for some custom cards. I did the watercolors traditionally and then used my iPad to improve the quality of the scans and to add text. These cards aren’t final yet - I’m not completely happy with the text and the quotes, but you get the idea.

These are the lastest pendants I'm working on today, and I'm pretty excited about them. They're soft and fresh right now, so they'll change color as they dry and harden. I'm going to sand them tomorrow and oil them in a few days.

I'll keep you posted on their progress, just because it's fun to see how they change over time.

I love how the wild sunflowers attract so many bees to our area 😊 so pretty.

And today's bee photo 😊 I love spring! There are so many bees around.

The wind blew this little gal right in front of me. She was too tired to fly away so I got some great shots! After I took her picture, she flew off again like a little Disney princess of bees.

My garden is covered in dandelions. I love seeing all the bees flock to them, even if it means I have a lot of work to do later.
