Activists who openly simp for Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis in their so-called crusade for Palestine fall into one of two camps:

1) Hopelessly naive, ignorant idiots who have absolutely no idea what or who they’re championing and can’t be bothered to expend the tiniest bit of energy to finding out before they wave their banners and chant their slogans because it’s fashionable to do so…

And

2) People who know *exactly* who they’re championing and are wilfully and knowingly throwing their support behind violent, genocidally antisemitic terror groups responsible for unimaginable atrocities because they believe in their methods and their goals.

Either way, the movement is rotten from the inside out and there’s just no getting away from it.

And then, when ordinary, decent people are rightfully horrified by the appalling rhetoric and actions emanating from these spaces, they easily dismiss it by painting their detractors as “genocide deniers” or “Zionist sympathisers” or the evil of all evil because they’ve imagined themselves as righteous soldiers on a moral crusade for justice and truth instead of the pathetic, desperately sad, nasty little arseholes they actually are.

Russia started a war that’s killed over a million people. Russian diplomats aren’t murdered. China runs concentration camps. Chinese diplomats aren’t targeted. Iran funds terrorism across the globe. Iranian diplomats aren’t gunned down. Turkey bombs civilians and jails dissidents. Turkish diplomats aren’t hunted. Sudan is collapsing in genocide and famine. Sudanese diplomats aren’t executed. Pakistan harbors terrorists and persecutes minorities. Pakistani diplomats aren’t ambushed. Syria used chemical weapons on its own people. Syrian diplomats aren’t shot outside museums. North Korea starves its citizens and threatens nuclear war. North Korean diplomats aren’t attacked. The list is endless. But out of all these countries, only Israel provokes such obsessive hatred that someone would throw away their entire life just to murder two innocent Israelis in their 20s. Today is a terribly sad day. May their memories be a blessing.

Lex reached for a remote control and several screens sprang to life, showing Lena’s best friend, Kara using super powers. He spat out blood along with the words meant to cut his sister down, that Kara Danvers was Supergirl and that all of her friends had played her for a fool.

Something in Lena broke. Tears streamed down her face as she looked at beautiful blonde Kara using heat vision and freeze breath. That judgmental superhero was Kara. She had lied to her over and over. All of their friends knew and they all had kept it from her. The Luthors lied and used her. Andrea stole the medallion and lied about it. Lionel was her father but never told her. Uther was her father but would never admit it. Gwen said she would be loyal, but instead worked with the Knights of Camelot. Merlin poisoned her, fatally wounded her sister, and finally ran her through with a sword. She looked at the old man holding her brother’s body.

“Emrys,” she whispered.
