What once began as a journey filled with promises of endless love, hope, and resilience, has gradually transformed into something far more complicated. In the beginning, the sacrifices seemed small, and taking on the blame didn‘t feel like such heavy burden. But as life threw its challenges your way, the illusion you both held dear started to fade.

You don’t want to bear responsibility for the other’s feelings, don’t want to be the bad guy who didn’t try enough, letting your partner fall to the ground. So, you continue to fool yourself into staying in a relationship you no longer want.

You hold on till the very end, but at what cost? You reach the paralleled balance you always wanted in this seesaw game, but not out of love, but of equal exhaustion. What began as playfully bragging about being the one putting in more efforts, has now turned into a competition. You‘re counting who can give more, just to prove that you’re the better partner in the relationship. Inevitably, someone will be blamed for dragging the other one down, for ruining everything. You start to understand the danger of being on this seesaw more and more, realizing you must let go and move on from this emotionally draining bond.

At the end, your partner leaves, and you find yourself walking on the seesaw alone. Just as you started alone, you end up alone again, but finally being able to get off the seesaw.

Listening to Trivia: Seesaw feels like Yoongi acknowledging your struggles and offering you a sense of understanding. It‘s like he‘s there with you on that seesaw, holding your hand while bearing the weight alongside you. He gives you time to breathe, without the fear that everything will collapse if you take a moment to reflect on your relationship. This song is for the hopeless people who are confronted with feelings of loneliness and longing after their significant lover isn’t a part of their life anymore. You take the role of Pluto who was kicked out of the solar system the way you were removed from your lover‘s life. If you could, you would ask them why they left and pushed you away. Regardless of how your relationship ended, you stay in your lover’s life like your role never changed. Even though Pluto doesn’t have a name anymore, it‘s still revolving around the sun just like you. You don’t know if your lover still wants you in their life. Nonetheless, you can’t just discard them as they did with you. Once you were their star, someone important they valued the most, but now you‘re just a mere number. Every bit of warm light you felt on your skin came from your sun. Now that they‘re gone, it feels like you‘re drowning in your own darkness once again. Like Pluto, the planet as well as the god of the underworld, you were always dependent on the sunshine they gave you. Jealousy silently creeps up on you. Simultaneously embarrassed for losing your role, you blame their new love interest for the shift. Pluto lost its name due to a moon called Eris that appeared in the same orbit as the dwarf planet. However, last one could keep its own title instead of getting a replacement number like Pluto. You both have been replaced and are facing a less dignified role in your sun‘s life now. The hope that one day your loved one will understand how much they actually mean to you, doesn‘t leave your body. You selflessly put them above yourself and dedicated everything to them. As the sun left, Pluto’s -248 degree cold heart stopped beating; illustrating how extremely hurt you were when they abandoned you. However, you still miss your lover. Your world didn’t stop to revolve around them. You often reminisces the time when you both were together and each other’s home. But, just like Pluto will never reach the sun, you won‘t reunite with your loved one again despite the proximity. It drives you crazy how every day seems the same, yet everything feels so different since they‘re gone. Whenever you think you‘re doing better and moved on, the sun enters your life again and all the repressed feelings come back like a flooding. They‘re happy and smiling at someone else who isn‘t you. Without second thoughts you approach them and tell your loved one that you‘re doing okay even though your heart explodes inside you. Finally, you acknowledge your new status of a bare number and planet of darkness far away from the sun. The realization that your lover has forgotten about you, hurts you deeply. Yet, despite the heartbreak, you will always hold onto them and continue to orbit around your sun. 134340 resonates with all the people who have experienced emotional distance or the sense of being overlooked. It doesn’t only tell the story of Pluto but also makes you feel seen. While strangers won’t recognize your numerical sequence, friends and your favourite people will. At the end you didn‘t lose your spark nor your significance after a breakup. Unlike Pluto, you‘re able to alter your course, seek a new source of warmth, or be your own sun. You don’t have to orbit around one person your whole life.

This song is for the people who struggle with self-identity and finding a place where they belong to. While society is telling you to embrace yourself and stop comparing yourself to others, you fail to do so. You know you’re all you need but still, you keep pushing yourself and try to find that ideal self, shaped by societal expectations. There are many nights full of self-disappointment and self-doubt. Moments of questioning your past decisions and overthinking them once again. The self-blame for not doing better lingers deeply in your mind and doesn’t leave. In those times of feeling disconnected from the world and failing to see the purpose of your existence, this song becomes a source of comfort. Namjoon makes you feel understood through his lyrics. He sits next to you and tells you that it’s okay to feel lost and lonely. Even though those emotions are often considered as negative, it‘s better to acknowledge the truth instead of pretending to be something you aren’t. Listening to “Uhgood“ feels like Namjoon reaching out, holding your hand, and assuring you that being average on some days is part of the journey toward becoming the best version of yourself. This song feels like a promise. A promise from your closest friends who are like family to you and understand your worries. You think you're alone in a world that has changed from one day to another. Like being paralyzed, you watch as time passes and find yourself mentally lying on the ground, unable to get up. You wonder when all the pain, the coldness, and loneliness will fade away until your best friends suddenly lie next to you, take your hand and give you strength. The world may have changed, but everything between you and them remains the same. In their presence, you can close your eyes for a moment and tune out everything around you. Unlike others, they don't expect you to adapt to the new circumstances. They dance with you off-beat under the clouded sky, enjoying how the heavy rain drenches your clothes, and wrap you in a warm embrace when you begin to shiver. Without second thoughts they run away with you to a better future where you'll be happy. Your best friends keep you from getting lost in the darkness and help you holding onto hope. They tell you with this song that life goes on and doesn't stand still. "Life goes on" is indeed a promise that the hard days will pass even if you might feel stuck in an endless loop right now. Brighter days will come again, as if nothing ever happened, bringing your happiness back. Until then, remember your friends‘ words and place your trust in them. Everything will be okay.

This song feels like the first ray of sunshine that shines through your window on your face, causing you to wake up from your sleep due to the warmth. A smile spreads across your face and you feel hope flooding through you. Often you just feel cold in this world and sometimes the darkness around you becomes too much to bear. Especially at night when the sun disappears and only the stars can be seen in the sky, you are confronted with your gloomy thoughts and everyday worries. Your dreams seem like a sanctuary and at the same time unreachable, so you often doubt if you have any reason to shine. However, the rays of the sun that wake you up every day and light up your face encourage you to shine too, for yourself. You shall stay gold and trust the light, whether it be your reflection or a loved person. Whenever you're feeling down, the other one will find you and cheer you up. Sleepless nights of loneliness will turn into moments of togetherness where you and your reflection, your soulmate, will hold hands until you feel able to face the morning with hope and joy. Stay gold is a promise and a call to stay positive and never lose your shimmer. Miracles are possible as long as you believe in them. When you give your heart and trust to the other person who is helping you out of the darkness, you‘ll manage to stay away from the shadows that accompany you throughout life.

This song tells the story of two lovers who meet each other on a snowy day and realize that time is moving too fast for them. They slowly drift away from each other exactly the way snow melts in a warm hand. The lyrics not only portray the anxiety and uncertainty that comes with loving someone but also the will to stay together even though it seems impossible. Listening to this song is like feeling the thoughts of the loving person. They show you their deepest emotions and let you into their heart. No matter if you're the lover or the loved one, you'll feel touched by the words and voices. You get to know that you're the reason the singing person didn't lose courage and hear their honest worries. They're suddenly afraid of what to do next and scared that the shared love is only fragile. The realization that the world is moving faster makes the lover worry. Is their a way to change it? In the end there won't be an answer but they want to wait together with you, the loved person, and never let go of your hand. The person wants to touch your heart one last time before your love disappears like the glittering crystal snow but it keeps slipping through their fingers. This song feels like a warm blanket in a cold november night while the first snow is falling down. Your freezing body starts to get warm and it's like a person is hugging you even though you're on your own. Christmas Tree isn't only warming you from the inside but it's comforting you from the outside as well. Tae's deep and gentle voice feels like a hug, a kiss, a promise that you aren't alone and someone is waiting for you at the end of the day. In this moment it's only you and the other person, no matter how big the distance to each other is. You forget about all the rainy days because now the sun is shining on you, the presence of the other person keeps the cold out and even nature is singing for you like christmas trees. It feels like time stands still, the only thing you hear is this secret the voice tells you. A love confession that is so pure and sincere that it fills your heart with warmth and longing for one touch between two souls existing far apart. This song is for the people who seek self-love, self acceptence and help to get out of the deep hole they're in. It's for the people who changed and lost themselves in order to love someone else. It makes you realize that you forgot about your true self and now search for a way to get it back. Epiphany is like this one friend that walks with you at night through empty streets while rain is pouring down on you both and listens to you. But not the way anyone else does in your life. It listens to the person you were before you changed yourself for someone else. It listens to the feelings of a person that feels so hurt and doesn't know how to love themselves anymore. Instead of only comforting you, it makes you realize that there are hidden, broken pieces inside yourself that have to be revealed again. The little sparkle inside your heart is what makes you as a human shine and unique. Epiphany encourages you in the gentlest way to love yourself, it doesn't force you but it gives you the necessary motivation to try your best to find love for yourself.
