But what if the first chapter is about Luc and the bell is warning Evangeline that Luc is not a good idea and what will happen because of him (the deal with jacks, turning to stone, etc.) isn’t good.

So when the bell to the Bookstore rings before the door opens and Evangeline gets excited again but it’s Marisol so she’s still happy is referencing that and Marisol is actually going to try to hurt/ or end up unintentionally hurting Evangeline??!?

Maybe again I’ve only made it to the beginning of the second Ball for Nocte Neverending🫶🏼

Head cannon that if Inej and Kaz ever get over their individual aversions to touch and have a child together they would name it Jordie (Inejs’ fathers name/ Jesper) Ghafa/Brekker

Because Inej loves her father dearly and he told her what real love should look like, and Jesper is important to her and Kaz.

And Kaz would want to honor Jordie and nobody knows who he was so nobody could know the name is a tribute to his brother but the Crows (only Inej truly knows who he was but Jesper has an understanding to know he was important to Kaz).

Do you ever think about how maybe Apollo guided the arrow Paris shot to kill Achilles because he understood that heartbreak.

Apollo was in love with Hyacinthus (“So fiercely was Apollo in love with Hyacinthus”), a mortal. So when he died Apollo said :

“He would have become mortal and join his lover in death if he were able to.”

So when he watched Achilles weep and fall apart over Patroclus’ death, he was sympathetic.

That maybe he didn’t guide that arrow out of hatred, he guided that arrow because he was able to help Achilles have what he was never able to—to be with the one he loves in death—which is extremely poetic.

Okay this may not be everyone’s opinion but,

The Wicked King is the best book in the trilogy.

It’s Cardan becoming confident in himself and in his love for Jude,

It’s Jude learning she’s always been capable of being great but people told her she wasn’t,

It’s two stubborn people falling in love but are too scared to admit it because they have a lot to work through,

The Queen of Nothing is easily a close second but TWK really dives into them as people AND then as a couple,

It also has some of the best YA plot points EVER (thank you Holly Black)

You know what Aaron Warner and Kaz Brekker have in common?

They both are grumpy teenagers with horrible pasts who love to- mid mission- play with dogs,

Fall in love with hot, talented, badass women,

Lead a gang/sector like a boss,

Fantastic fashion taste,

And they both had the entirety of my heart before the end of the first book, and by book two make me weak in the knees for them.

For everything that is holy, please, let’s stop hating on Nesta.

If she were a man nobody would think twice about her actions, she’d be the emotional distant, cold, basic bad-boy and everyone would be in love with her.

She had an insanely traumatic event happen to her and suffers from depression and probably some PTSD because of it, she’s adjusting to a life and a completely different body, world, and family. She’s doing what she needs to survive.

Healing has never been fast, it took Feyre ages to come to terms with her abusive ex, what happened under the mountain, and everything else that happened in the earlier books and that was with the help of her new family (the court of dreams). Stop trying to force Nesta to be perfect immediately.

Let her be emotionless, rude, protective and powerful without her being a bitch or a prude.
