A part of the Redwall tapestry based on its depiction in the Nelvana show! It's based on my own pattern of that image. If anyone remembers the necklace I cross-stitched, it's an adaptation of that same home-made pattern.

“Matthias the tulip.”

“The big, brooding, yellow tulip.”

Six of Crows, Chapter 28 (Inej)

They walked down to the boathouse. But before Wylan entered, he bent and plucked a red tulip from its bed. They all followed suit and silently filed inside. One by one, they knelt by Nina and rested a flower upon Matthias’ chest, then stood, surrounding his body, as if now that it was too late, they might protect him.

My six of crows book is filled with annotations whether it be from my third reread where I tabbed anything I deemed important to my fourth reread where I used a pencil and wrote in the margins. This books is so well loved for me. I used to only annotate books just to see what I thought of the book back when I was originally reading it. It was fun but also extremely distracting. Six of crows manages to be more than that. I’m so in love with the story that I almost forget my own annotations (which let me tell you is kind of hard because some things I wrote are really funny)
