i hate it so much when people call open world games like watch dogs, sleeping dogs, mafia etc "gta clones" they may be the same genre of games but they are all unique they all have totally different maps, different physics, different settings they all have their own gameplay mechanics that gta never had like sleeping dogs' martial arts or watch dogs' hacking the only thing they usually share with gta is that they're open world and you can drive cars and shoot people which is what the open world genre is

Calling them gta clones is the same logic as calling every racing game a need for speed clone or every fps game a call of duty clone or even calling every console a nintendo clone it's so stupid

It's not even that great of a line but "i felt different" just goes so hard

I just want to be able to buy different properties and houses i wanna choose which area of the game i can live in and also there should be an option to make any car you want your personal vehicle in story mode.

Also one of the worst things about story mode was that there are dozens of cars in the game and yet you can only keep 12 of them (4 as each character) i hope you can get like big 20-30 car garages in story mode in gta 6

And yes ik it's not realistic to be able to keep any car you want off the street but it's a game (literally called grand theft auto mind you) realism shouldn't take priority over fun in games

I cannot for the life of me understand why they removed the smart hacks

Like what was the purpose of removing everything that made the watch dogs games fun to play? I recently played watch dogs legion for the first time and honestly it's not as bad as people make it out to be. The story is meh (better than 2 imo) but the melee combat was great, the game being set in london is a nice change from all open world games being set in the US and i like the being able to play as anyone mechanic tho i hate that you can't just swap weapons between operatives and the driving truly does suck. Motorcycles are literally impossible to ride

But overall i had fun it's a good game that's really overhated

But i for the life of me cannot understand why would they remove the blackouts, traffic lights, steam pipes and other hacks and also the smartphone THOSE HACKS WERE THE BEST THING ABOUT YOUR GAMES UBISOFT

I wish RDR2 had director mode being able to play as everyone (especially Dutch) would be so fun

Most of the people i greet as John don't even respond and everywhere he goes he gets treated like trash 😭

Lmao Dutch unintentionally saved John's life by letting him get captured cause he would NOT have survived that shipwreck

If they were gonna keep Arthur's body model they could have at least changed up John's mannerisms a bit

It looks so awkward and weird when he has the same mannerisms as Arthur in cutscenes 😭

Ngl i would have much preferred if they gave John the ability to swim in RDR2 and just didn't address him not being able to swim in rdr2

Cause John's inability to swim gets really annoying

It would have been so badass and iconic if John did his classic pose when he was killing Micah instead of Abel
