Today i am thinking about feminine rage and how often it is misconstrued in media

It’s not just “I am a woman and I am a little bit angry”

It’s feeling so trapped and afraid that it turns into anger, it’s feeling so angry that you could destroy the world if it meant the person who hurt you got karma

My feminine rage is not “I am slightly upset” its “I would rip apart the very fabric of space and time, destroying universes and leaving nothing but the remains of my destruction behind me if it meant I could find a reality where I got even an ounce of justice”

Or it’s “the anger I’m feeling will not manifest in destructive, firey vengeance but a cold and calculated dismantling of everything you’ve ever known and loved. I will work tirelessly to destroy your life until all that’s left is you in the ruins of what you once called your life, your home”

It’s “if I was given a weapon and told to end your life with it, to let you die by my hand, I would spit in your face and tell you that you do not deserve the mercy”

It’s “every system I have ever been a part of, every system I have ever faced as an individual, is corrupted and has failed me. I actually think that love is when I lean against my boyfriend and he adjusts his position so I can rest my head on his shoulder. Love is when he brings home my favourite drink when I’m in bed with cramps so bad I can’t move. Love is when he holds my hand to stop me from shaking as I call the doctors, something I hate doing. Love is when he holds me tight as I nap and makes me food when me notices I’m losing instead of gaining. Love is when he picks me up and holds me in the air when I’m teasing him. Love is when I catch him staring and he gives me that smile. Love is when HE loves me.

I (a feminist) made one post about liking it when my bf explains stuff to me because he makes everything easier to understand and I trust his word, and got noticed by an anti feminism account. I’ll spray you with my spray bottle go away!

Not to sound like a helpless and naive tradwife girl or anything but I love having a bf that knows stuff so I can just go okay❤️ yay❤️. Obviously I’ll research important stuff by myself if I have to but if he knows all about a thing and keeps me updated on it if it’s an ongoing thing, I will listen to his word as The News. I often find stuff to be overwhelming but the way he explains stuff makes it so much simpler and nicer and he’s so gentle about it, so if he explains/tells me something I’ll take his word for it. I promise I am an educated woman with a diploma and a career, I just like it when he can tell me stuff instead idk I’m high and rambling

I need people to understand that I’m not always a good person. I wouldn’t usually wish the pain I was in last year upon my worst enemy but seeing one of the leading causes of the worst year of my entire life, the cause of the worst mental break I have EVER had, the reason I’m now in recovery instead of two years clean and the reason I literally cannot make friends anymore post about being depressed and in pain and stuff gives me a weird little amount of pleasure. It’s awful and I know it but the fact they can finally understand how much pain I was in feels good. I hope they regret it because the damage they did to me was irreversible. I’m not always a good person. I try because of how they treated me, but the bad slips out sometimes.

Every other day in Stardew I’m like. Okay I’ll save to build Pam’s house next, I finished the community centre ages ago. And then I get distracted by something else. Like buying more starfruit seeds (I HATE using the seed makers they annoy me) or the trader having catalogues. I have the retro and Junimo catalogues now plus the wallpaper/flooring one from Pierre. I haven’t even got all of the house extensions yet. I still want Robin’s furniture catalogue. Too obsessed with home design and not bothered enough about the rest of the town. Tragic.

Hey so this is me btw on the account I lost access to and I’ve been meaning to update for ages LOL

Today I will go on an autism ramble about the colour palettes in jojo.

Okay so idk how many people have picked up on this but the colour palettes in each part match the personality of the jojo!!

In part 1, the colours are deeper, darker. Navy and royal blues, mahogany, merlot, sangria, wine reds, rasin, eggplant and mulberry purples, Russian violet, etc. These are all colours associated with nobility, royalty, courage, wisdom, dignity, devotion and pride, matching Jonathan’s personality and true gentlemanly heart.

In part 2, there are still deeper colours but it’s also flashier. More vibrant. Shiny, even. Joseph still has a noble heart, he still has intentions to protect and honour, but he is also more flamboyant, humorous. He has that playful side that Jonathan didn’t truly get to tap into as he grew.

In part 3, tones become more dull and muted, with mustard yellows, sage greens, heather purples and so on. We all know Jotaro has a more stoic, quiet, muted personality. He’s rougher around the edges, but the colours of SPlat, a literal manifestation of his soul, being a bit deeper, purples and reds and golds, the colours of Jonathan’s nobility, show his true colours. He is courageous and noble, aiming to protect, just like his grandfather and great-great-grandfather before him.

In part 4, the colours are brighter, there’s more saturation and life to them. Josuke has a brighter personality, more childish and playful. He’s cheery! His surroundings reflect that, he always has a positive outlook. But there is more noble, dark colours in there.

(Do you get where I’m going with this? Each part still includes some colours from part 1. Each jojo has a good, noble heart.)

This current farm save is the first SERIOUS save I’ve had in Stardew since I bought it in January of this year. I only originally bought it to play with my boyfriend (back then he was just the guy I was obsessed with) and we played once then never again. I tried a few times but always gave up early on in yr1 or midway through yr2. I’m now on the tail end of yr3 after starting in mid November and for some reason have insane luck. Every week I tell my bf something about my farm and he’s like. What. I got the strange capsule event and had no clue what it was. He was like do you even know how rare that is. I was like no. I just thought it looked cool. Then I told him I have TWO owl statues and he was like. What the fuck. Then I got the meteorite like three (irl) days later. And then I told him the other day that I’ve had the crop fairy come like three times. And he just looked at me like this.

Big fan of how Sebastian fully uses the farmer making hella money to his advantage and follows his dreams and actual desires. Like yes honey I just sold my latest harvest of 107 starfruit we are SET. Just look after the kids, work on your bike and read comics. Currently at the start of winter year 3 and I am loaded. My man just needs to sit there and look pretty.
