One of the best memories and feelings I've experienced in life, one I'll never forget. It was during a visit to Afghanistan, carrying clothes, supplies, and toys, when I found Farid, a little boy. I felt the innocent impulse to hug him. As I hugged him and saw him cry, he hugged me even tighter. Without needing to translate his words, my heart wept, but rejoiced to hear his voice: "I was waiting for you... And I saw my heart grow with you as I guessed the name I would tell you. In the mirror of the desert, now one day we would see each other like a new moon dressed in silver and laughing in profile. With you inside my pain, holding my hand. I've never been so happy."

I believe the good and bad things we do, or what others desire and do to us, are not accidental. They are like reflections of glory and hell. Friendship. Gratitude. Honesty.

Given the new guidelines and policies currently in place from the US government, it appears that Tumblr has been subjected to these restrictions, and now my blog has been deemed sensitive. I don't know if this is the case for everyone because I've tried to "like" various posts people make, but their blogs can't open.
