#19 for the OC ask? (for Chettmen)

Hmm my favorite fact about him… thats a tough one. Mostly because Chett is one of my favorite OCs all around.

But my biggest fact about him is probably that he wasn’t meant to be a Half-Life OC. He was always meant to be in my story MALWARE. And originally, for both, he was meant to be a vile villain character. But over time I have developed him with my friends and he has grown to be far from his original position in any story he is inserted in.

Thats probably my favorite fact.

Can you tell me Number 3 about Chettmen?

I am gonna be real. Whenever I make a characters name I always strive to make some part of it unique. Chettmen’s last name just….appeared in my head. But his first name was because at the time I was working at my Mom’s daycare as an After School/Summer Camp teacher. We had a sweet lil boy named Jameson. I was just thinking one day, Chettmen needs a name.. a first name. I looked down at my list of kid’s names and saw Jameson and said “yup, thats his name. Jameson Chettmen!”

It just has a nice feel to it. The way I name my characters is strange some times.

I’m putting my foot down!

Resistance Hunter is getting reworked.. It’ll be a slow process. But it must be done.

Without a rewrite of beginning chapters I will probably abandon the fic entirely.

Sebastian Fletcher has never been anything close to normal in his life; the closest he's ever gotten has been working for the Black Mesa Research Facility, a job that most people wouldn't consider normal to begin with. But for Seb, it's the least stressed he's ever been in his life, and that's good enough. He has friends, a stable job, and for the first time ever, a chance at a decent life. Of course, it's not going to pan out that way; in fact, the goddamn world started ending about 6 hours ago, not that anyone noticed at the time. But Seb doesn't care. He has NEVER cared. He doesn't care about what exactly is happening, or what caused it, or how to stop it. He is not the One Free Man, he is not the Guiding Shephard, he's just Seb. And Seb just wants to live. That's not so bad, is it?

I think my Gordon The Employer’s coat should almost be a part of him. Like since he is kinda an eldritch ethereal being when he gets mad or serious, eyes pop up on the underside of his coat and his coat tails/ends flair out a little to accentuate that. You know what I mean?

Also I think he should have a black turtle neck on when he is in a HL2 timeline and his BlackMesa themed outfit when he is in a HL1 part of a timeline. Cause I think a black turtle neck would also look dope. And it gives him more space for extra eyes to pop up when he gets real mad!

I will get around to drawing this at some point.
