The third design of Noel Hyde, and the one that's going to stick for a while.

He is my baby girl.

Noel has gone through some changes. He's not super out there with his craziness, but he is still insane.

Noel still has his research in creating demihumans as weapons.

He has a planet sized ship - He destroyed the planet to use for his research and to keep his research moving.

He lost his left forearm during an experiment involving Subject 0, and now uses an augment in its place. - His augment has a gun installed in case someone gets a little too curious about what's in the facility, or if they get a little too rough

The glowing eye thing is just something he can do (and something the Hyde siblings have inherited from him).

Tried something new with the way I do my rendering. Fell in love with the water fringe effect on PaintToolSai. Some things would need to change a little in the future, but I'm in love with it!

Me and my MTG pod are doing the 32 deck challenge. I decided to go a step further and make custom card backs for those decks since we're using table top simulator.

Had to repurpose my characters. They're going to be more sci-fi focused.

So have Glitch chilling out with Elise, his sister, on his ship.

The changes made:

Axton "Glitch" Esper is now a merc and a known hacker. He doesn't show his face to his clients, instead only showing up as a robot with a screen. He accepts jobs to help pay for Elise's treatment. He only uses what he needs from it to survive, upgrade his gear, and the robots, androids, and droids on his crew. He still has his augments (arms, legs, several organs, etc.)

Elise Esper is no longer dead from an accident, but instead she's now sick from a disease with no known cure. She's in stasis until a cure can be found. This was her wish.

Some small context:

We're close to backstory stuff in our in person campaign. We've inadvertently touched on one of the other player's backstory, with our current objective. Which ended with said player transferring his soul into a weapon that he can't loose now. We still have things we need to do with said objective. It's not likely that we're done with that character's stuff yet, but we've still got three others of us left to go.

During a two truths, one lie the characters played to get to know each other, it was eluded to that Crow was "executed" for a crime he didn't commit. He had managed to escape and has been on the run since. This was before he joined a circus called "The Place".

Crow and another of the party members, The Bird Song, are the only remaining characters from the party that started out in this campaign. One has been taken by Madness (literally), and another was whisked away to a prison because he drew a card from a magic tarot deck (the Critical Roll one, it's similar to the Deck of Many things). Crow was the only one to not partake in the "game".

It's Luna! But not quite.

Brain wanted a Luna from an AU so I delivered.

In this particular AU, the Hyde siblings never escaped Noel's lab and fulfilled their purpose as manufactured living weapons for the military.

Differences between Original Luna and AU Luna below the cut.

AU has facial scars from fighting Subject 0 and other scars littering her body

--- Original only has a couple of scars on her right shoulder

AU is the Leader (Alpha) of the K-9 unit (A group of wolf demihumans, with a single human handler. Hierarchy: Packmates < Luna < Handler)

--- Original is a scientist and escaped Noel's torment

AU is challenged for the rank of Alpha (none of the packmates have succeeded, yet)

--- Original will play fight with Rhys and her partners

Rhys is AU's packmate

--- Rhys is Original's son

AU sees the other Hydes as her colleagues despite their shared origin

--- Original sees the other Hydes as siblings because of their shared origin

AU knows wolfspeak and uses it to communicate with her packmates (helpful in trading information subtly)

--- Original doesn't know wolfspeak, but she's learning it

AU willingly (was trained to) muzzle herself when not on missions or on security detail

--- Original will fight tooth and nail to not be muzzled under any circumstance

Might draw the other Hydes from this AU eventually (after I've actually drawn some of them)
