headcanons for sun and moon (not Sams)

• Sun and moon chests are made of a plushy material, perfect for hugs.

• Moon himself doesn't sing but has a speaker where he can pick a handful of lullabies for the kids.

• Moon gets so sick of the daycare theme so when it's his shift he shuts it off as soon as he can.

• Some of the kids begged to see sun eat glitter glue and they say through a 30 minute long tangent about indigestion.

• With kids, sun is nice and gentle, with adults he's mean and argumentative. But his code can't register teenagers so either you're a kid or an adult based on facial features.

• If sun thinks you're a kid when you're a teen and sees acne he will ask a lot of questions.

• Sun and moon argue constantly in their minds. So if a kid is showing them something they are NOT paying attention whatsoever. They are trying not to lose their patience with each other.

• Along with being unable to recognize teens, they have no idea what animals are. Beside the plush ones they don't know what to do if someone shows up with a dog.

• They do not accept babies in the daycare. They can't change a diaper and baby toys are too much of a sanitary hazard.

• Moon doesn't like to harm children. In my AU it was a glitch that set him off to kill Gregory and sun was just trying to protect him and moon

• The actual moon was very gentle and when kids didn't sleep he would pretend to be the boogie man and chase them back to the nap time area.

• Kids climb all over both of them for fun.

• one time a kid got stuck on the wire that holds moon and sun is shit at the wire so he told them to jump into the ball pit. The kid was okay but it hurt.

• the reason sun doesn't use the wire is because he gets tangled every time. Also the wire gets stuck on his rays.

• sun can't use crayons because his hands are too big and the crayon snaps in half if he tries to use it.

• since it wasn't necessary for a daycare attendant they only made him able to count to 100. If you ask what comes after that...he might just stare at you for a long time.

• since they change bodies they don't actually know what each other looks like other than what's in the manual.
