So, for all the people out there who are saying "hair physics" and "being excited about hair" shouldn't be a thing when it comes to a new game... let me just say that... you kind of out yourselves when you say that about Dragon Age Veilguard. It says that you're new to Dragon Age/Bioware.

While there is absolutely nothing wrong with being new to a series, it's important to kind of understand what you're walking into when you step into something that's been around since 2009.

For all of Dragon Age's awesomeness across all of the games, there is one thing that Bioware just doesn't do well. Hair. In any form. Hair, beards, eyebrows. They flat out suck at hair. That's why there's all this hype about it. Because, for a Dragon Age game to have good hair choices and hair that actually moves as your character does? LONG hair that moves with your character?! That is something to pay attention to.

Because Bioware has always had great stories, great characters, great worlds. They've literally had everything else down except hair. So... if they've cracked the code on hair? Well... then they've done it, haven't they.

An embargo lifted, tons of creators flooding YouTube with new information, and absolutely none of them have explored the Inquisitor's customization options beyond "oh yeah the Inquisitor's there too"????

Excuse me, I need more. I watched bits and pieces of an IGN vid looking for this information and they showed off Lavellan standing there and even had her speak and hearing her say "Good to see you again" in her voice just about killed me.

Also I couldn't tell what was going on with the HAND. The left one was covered by a glove??? Armor??? Prosthetic arm? Idk??? I'm beginning to wonder if the Inquisitor just shows up in Solas's memories and not in person but alxnxvsskchccheg I need them in the same room Bioware

Anyways as you can see my attempt to avoid spoilers is going extremely well (it is in shambles)

i wasnt initially going to post this bc this is super messy and is just something i did for my own reference, but seeing how so many people in the tag struggle to find pictures of the outfits, here you go, something compliled from various videos

I think I figured out why I can't seem to make a Rook ahead of time, and it's that Dragon Age oc's are best made after you've already beat the game. Not a single time has any of my first playthroughs been my actual character runs. I have to know the story first in order to make someone that fits into it. My very first Inquisitor had my name, for crying out loud, but I was very new to video games and oc's at the time.

Whatever Rook I play first, there's no way they're the final product.
