White Tiger in Little China
DO NOT REPOST!
Years ago I found this drawing of Shinkohyou in modern clothing and I wanted to do something similar to it so here it is. His hair took forever to do! I had to redo it a dozen in one times just to get a style I actually thought was remotely decent! Ultimately, it made me realize how much I hate doing fringe style hair, despite I really do like that style. It’s just a pain to draw…. I added a little Kokutenko to his shirt and his earrings to make him more recognizable.

So this is my response to the Precure Confession of the idea of Pikario/Giulio becoming a male Precure and showing Precure as a non gender role job. Meaning gender doesn’t have to do with being one and both male and female could be Precure. I honestly like that idea. I mean, I don’t think it ever states that being a Precure was a female only job. Least certainly not in this series. I mean yeah pretty” but guys can be pretty. Look at Orba and Kochou! I never see people experiment with the male Precure idea, yet I see a lot more people doing male sailor senshi.
It’s not like girls are always pure. I mean shoot, look at Biburi. She’s freakin nuts and farthest thing from pure! So it can’t just be “Oh girls always have strong pure hearts than boys”, when we know gender has nothing to do with a person being good or evil.  I think would be neat if Pikario had the powers and Ciel was just there to root for him, like a good sister. I don’t have issues with Ciel. I just agree that Pikario was more deserving of being a Precure, since he saved his sister and did feel bad for what he did. He learned something. Ciel didn’t.
So, I decided “Let’s turn Pika into a Precure!” and this is the result. I didn’t add the rainbows to him because well…That’s just ugly. That’s the one thing I hated with the design of Cure Parfait. Too many colors and not enough consistency. I wanted to keep it simple and just make it mostly two colors with a few colors on the ice cream.  The color is a teal green/ice blue which is kinda close to being green. I just didn’t think pure green fit with a Pegasus and I wanted to keep the design recognizable.
He’s still a Pegasus, which I thought fit him more than his sister since his hair is white as a bad guy and with the blue hair that he usually has, it just fits more with the white Pegasus look. His wand would be the same wand as regular Cure Parfait.

Maho Precure Witch Talent: Witch Forms
These were done in Senshi Maker 3 and Edited in Pixlr. They’re both great for making designs and references.
These with forms are the forms they change into when they need to cast certain powerful spells. These are the forms they take before changing into Precure. The outfit unravels into their element and then the cure outfits pop on. For a extra unique touch, each cure has a small ombre/color tip in their hair.
Now why are these not the main Cure outfits for them? Well, their cure powers come not only from the magic they use, but the talent they are passionate about, which is why their cure forms represent their talent, more than their magical abilities. These witch forms are also used in the Magic World. Instead of having the same uniform, they have their own unique outfit. I always liked it better when they didn’t look the same.
If you want to know more about these characters, click here.
Tumblr media
For Celina, I wanted to do something cute and similar to the uniforms in Maho Tsukai. I may make the skirt slightly longer in actual drawings, but for the most part, this is how it looks. She’s a “Cute Witch” type.
Tumblr media
I changed this character’s name from “Sirena” to “Nerissa”. I had been watching Suit Precure for my “Precuruary” on “Tech Speaks” blog and I just felt weird for her to share the name with another precure, especially since they’re both blue cures. I know Siren’s main name is “Ellen” but I just felt maybe this was best. Nerissa means “Sea Nymph”, which I felt made more sense and the name kinda has, I guess an “attitude feel”, which is perfect for this character.
Anyway for Nerissa, I wanted to capture both kinda boyish but at the same time feminine look. It was hard but I finally went with this look. I had her wear pants underneath and ruffle collar like a gentleman would wear or a pirate, complete with tall boots. Since Nerissa is Japanese and European descent, I wanted to mix both Euro and Asian styles together a little. She’s a “Mystic Witch” type.
Tumblr media
Lin’s style was a little tricky. I didn’t want to look repetitive too much so I went with a different corset look for her. Normally wind elements are associated with blue greens, silver/grey and/or white colors, but I always picture Lin’s colors to be different shade of green with pink. It just fits her I think best, especially since those colors go well with the Chinese look that she often has, since she is of Chinese descent. Plus these colors are bright and happier looking, just like she tends to be. Lin’s a “Nature Witch” type.

Witch Talent Precure!
So, years ago before Maho Tsukai Precure, I had an idea for a witch magical girl series. At first, it was going to be a original series that didn’t tie with precure, but...yeah a lot of my ideas for it, well, let’s just say there’s a lot of similarities between my series and precure and other magical girls, including Shugo Chara. Put it short, it just doesn’t stand out much as it’s own thing, but I still like these ideas and thought, well since it’s like a Precure series already, let’s just make it a Precure fan series. Than it’d be okay to use the different ideas from different magical girls.
I really like the ideas Maho Tsukai had but of course, the development of the plot was a bit messy and the characters in Maho Tsukai, I like them, don’t get me wrong, (well except the idiot trio) but they all are under developed. So I thought, I need some baddies and few side characters too. So this will be, what if Maho Tsukai was written better. I had plan this series for years in my head, so the plot itself will be mostly it’s own thing. The only thing I really took was some concepts such as designs. Again, I will use maybe some characters from Maho Tsukai including a certain green horn guy, so at least they will be written better.
My main precure team are from my head though. So don’t worry, I’m not just using the Maho Tsukai Cures. This is gonna be completely different. In fact, one is based more on me and the other are based on two good friends of mine.
I may write full “episodes” once in a while but it’s mainly gonna be done using pictures and explanation to give an idea of it. This is due to me having so many projects already. This is just something I wanna come back to sometimes just for the fun of it, since again. I’ve had this idea for years and I just can’t ever seem to abandon it so, I’ll just use it as a part time, fun project.
So without further a due, this is my precure team and their story. The theme is witches, magic, talents, music and a little romance/love.
Celina, Nerissa and Lin are in a band together known as Magic Melody Lively. They are the top of their class at Balboa Academy for Arts and Athletics being not only are they good singers, but each has their own unique talent. Celina loves to dance and is good in sports, she’s in charge of choreography in their band. Nerissa is a great painter and musician, she’s also good at writing and is usually in charge of song writing and scheduling. She’s also the lead singer. Lin is great at tailoring sweets and clothes. She’s in charge in making costumes and outfits for concerts. She’ll also make some snacks for the team.
Celina and Nerissa are sisters but Celina was adopted. Years ago, as a child, a fire broke out and killed her family. Being Nerissa’s family and Celina’s family were good friends, Nerissa family adopted Celina in. Since then though, Celina is terrified of fire but soon, she needs to face her fear for when a monster attacks her favorite dance studio that she went to when she was younger. Not wanting so many people lose their talent, she must stand up and shout “Precure, Awaken My Talent!” and rises as Cure Dancer! Together with Cure Painter and Cure Tailor, they form Witch Talent Precure!
So, the question is, Witch Talent are you?
Tumblr media
Name: Celina Hinami
Name Origin: Celina is French for “Sky or Heaven” Hinami; Japanese “Hi” meaning “fire” “nami” comes from “Minami” which means “Beautiful Wave” so “Fire Wave” or “Fire South”.
Age: 15 (Yes these are high school age. Something different.)
Favorite Treat: Cinnamon Roles
Personality: Celina is sweet, shy and soft spoken at times, but when she gets on the dance floor or on the concert, there is no one passionate as her! She lets herself known to the world. She’s also pretty good at sports but she mainly prefers gymnastics and dancing. She likes to teach others how to dance. Makes her feel just as special as doing it.
(Yes her design is slightly based on Mirai. I really liked Mirai’s hair style. It’s cute and perfect for a character that loves to dance! Her outfit is based on 80s/90s style clothing.)
Tumblr media
Name: Cure Dancer
Catchphrase: “Passionate and Courageous as a Dancing Flame! Witch Talent? Cure Dancer!”
Transformation Device: A gold bell (seen on the side of her.)
Weapon: Fire Ribbons
Finishing Attack: Precure Ribbon Salsa! (Wraps ribbons around enemy until they explode into flames.)
Healing Technique: (This is used to restore damages from fights) Elegant Flame!
(Note: As Cure Dancer, she’s kinda iffy on using fire attacks due to her past. She basically needs to get use to using fire base spells.)
Tumblr media
Name: Nerissa Hinami
Name Origin: “Nerissa” Spanish/Greek for “Water Nymph” and the Goddess of the Sea , Hinami see above.
Age: 16 (She’s the oldest.)
Favorite Treat: Triple Fudge Brownies
Personality: Nerissa is a bit boyish. Despite having long hair, she dresses like a man most of the time and almost never is seen in dresses or skirts. She’s not someone to mess with. Despite she hates sports, she does work out and acts “ the man of the house” because their parents are divorced. When she’s not singing, working on a song, writing or drawing, you’ll often find her on the waves surfing. “Siren of the Sea”, she’s sometimes called due to this. The ocean is her inspiration. Don’t let this tough chick fool you. She does suffer anxiety issues that cause her to fall ill sometimes and actually does have a weak body, she covers up with her boyish side. Singing and being on stage, one would think would make this worse, but actually it keeps her mind clear and she’s too busy putting effort into a good performance to let it get to her. This shows her true beauty and strength.
(Note, this is the character based more on me.)
Tumblr media
Name: Cure Painter
Catchphrase: “Beautiful and Strong as the Shimmering Sea! Witch Talent? Cure Painter!”
Transformation Device: Conk Shell Ocarina
Weapon: Shimmering Radiant Brush
Finishing Attack: Precure Watercolor Whirlpool! (Sends massive and colorful whirlpools that surround enemy, causing them to explode.)
Healing Technique: Aqua Aurora Antidote!
(Yes this is the character that’s a little based on Chara Spade from Shugo Chara.)
Tumblr media
Name: Lin Shuang
Name Origin: Chinese “Lin” means “Fine Jade” “Shuang” means “Jolly”.
Age: 15
Favorite Treat: Hard to pick but loves mooncakes most of all!
Personality: Lin is full of energy! She’s always working on a costume or a something sweet! Her family owns a restaurant thus learned to cook from them. She’s also got a good vocal range but didn’t pick up on singing until meeting Sirena and Celina. Despite being the most outgoing, she does have a few insecurities. She tends to break under pressure the most but thanks to her friends, she stands back up on her feet and ready to go!
Tumblr media
Name: Cure Tailor!
Catchphrase: “Creative and Free like a Playful Breeze! Witch Talent? Cure Tailor!”
Transformation Device: Playful Mini Ruan! (It does become slightly bigger to play properly. Just becomes small for compact size. Sorry I wanted to keep in theme and drum is taken from my special cure which I will reveal later.)
Weapon: Honey Needle (A sewing needle about the size of a cooking spoon)
Finishing Attack: Precure Sweet Sewing! (Sends out a thread of honey from the loop end, that winds around the enemy until they explode)
Healing Technique: Silk Honey
(Was a challenge making her. I wanted to of course make her more Chinese base and not just be a typical maid look.)
Some questions/accusations you probably will have.
“But Tech, they don’t look anything like witches! Least MTP had witch hats!”
Fear not! They do have witch forms and other forms to change into. In fact, they do transform into their Witch Forms first and then the outfit unravels into their element before their cure clothes pop on. It’s a neat idea in my head and like their hair becomes their element (fire, water, wind) as it makes its transaction to the cure colors. I just haven’t design the Witch Forms yet.
“You know, you could just add original characters instead of just adding the MTP characters as side characters? Don’t be lazy!”
Again, I have other projects that I want to finish. This is just something I wanna do for fun once in a while. Also, no matter what. Fan anything is just that. Stuff dedicated to a franchise. Even if you do make completely original characters for it, in the end, it’s something you can’t completely call your own because it’s for a universe that already exists. It doesn’t mean you can’t be creative or put effort in. It just can’t be completely, 100% be original.
I say this because most of the projects I’m doing are original stories and stuff I want to make successful one day. So I speak as someone that does create their own content. That’s why I’m not as harsh towards people who make things for fandom. Fandom is just for fun at the end. It’s just creative ideas made for something you enjoy and you’re free to be creative or lazy as you want. It’s the real original stuff you best know how to put 100% effort in. That’s when it really counts.
Plus, hey, some of the the MTP characters deserve to be better written. Just think of this as an alternate reality kinda thing, where instead of Maho Tsukai, you have more mature team saving the day.
“Your characters are mary-sues/too talented!”
First off, Mary-Sue is a character that is perfect. No flaws or been through anything bad. (And if they have, it’s overly unrealistically depressing.) They’re also tend to be happy all the time and everyone loves them. All my characters have flaws, they’re not happy all the time and not everyone likes them. Celina is shy and soft spoken. She has a hard time speaking out what she wants. She also withdraws when she’s scared or nervous That’s why she must learn courage.
Nerissa is independent and tends to push others away, including loved ones. She dresses like a boy to hide her insecurities, weaknesses and to get guys to back off on her, since she kinda hates men in some ways. She doesn’t think all men are bad, but she has a negative view on them, due to having so many negative experiences with them, including a break up and well hate issues with her father.
And then you have Lin, she’s insecure as hell. She tends to act over excited when she’s nervous and tends to annoy people like that, but she’s also conscious about that. She's afraid of pushing others away and being left alone in the world. When she’s nervous or feeling insecure, she tends to really not think straight thus cause more problems around her.
So yeah, they maybe multi-talented but people are multi-talented in a lot of things. Look at the Go Princess Precure team. They’re talented in almost everything under the sun, yet they still have flaws to keep them grounded and real. It’s all about adding the right and realistic kinda flaws.
“What’s their Mascot?”
A black fox name Stella, that does talk and she likes to use her own magic to take care of flowers. (Hmm...Could she be a cure?)
They also get their own familiars once they grow in magic.
What are the things they need to collect?
Magic stones. I dunno what to call them. I guess Mythic Change Stones, since they’re like the Linkle Stones. They change the cures into different forms, but I’m having a twist to them and having each transformation using the Mythic Change Stones be based on a mythical creature such as a mermaid, kirin and tengu. These stones fit into the heart gems of their transformation items.

Sailor Magicians of Deusmast Galaxy
Little idea that same to me when Deusmast became a galaxy, instead of killed off. What if the four general orbs became planets and each general became a guardian of that planet? Since Toei owns Sailor Moon, it wouldn’t be too far fetch for Sailor Soldiers to also exist in the Precure World. Least I can picture Sailor Scouts ending up in the Precure Universe, somehow. So here are the four generals as Sailor Guardians.
I even gave them civilian names as if they were reborn on earth or the Magic World and have their original names be the names of the planets they guard in the Deusmast Galaxy.
Tumblr media
Sailor Orba (Leader of the Deusmast Soldiers)
Civilian name: Marino Nunzio (Name Origin: Italian; “Marino” means “Sailor of the sea” and “Nunzio” means “messenger”)
Element: Water and ice
Sailor of: Intuition and Intelligence
Personality/Bio: Kind and a little shy. He’s the glue that holds everyone together, since he’s the most reasonable. He’s confident but does have moments of insecurity from time to time. Marino/Orba can be very strict as a fighter but very calm and can be a little snarky sometimes. Naturally he’s the brainy one of the bunch and can usually be found reading a good book when relaxing.
Trivia: I picked Orba as a leader naturally because he’s the most intelligent and the most developed of the four Deusmast generals. I also kinda made him slightly the crush of Benigyo, because she kinda grew on me and I think the two could have good chemistry together. I picked the name “Marino” because Orba is kinda similar to my character “Marittimo”, in both being really smart and yes, if Orba was reborn on earth, I kinda picture him to be of Italian origin, since Orba is Italian name or word. I picture Marino/Orba to be a teacher or professor of some sort and be a wizard type magician. I also added Chikurun because, again, I picture them to be good friends and Chikurun could be the mascot/familiar of them.
Tumblr media
Sailor Benigyo (The Sexy Sailor of Passion)
Civilian name: Akasuki "Akako" Kohana (Akasuki means "fond of red" "akako" means "red" and "Kohana" "flower child")
Element: Fire (of course)
Sailor of: Passion and Love
Personality/Bio: She’s still very similar to her old self, except, not as cruel or mean of course. Akako works as a beautician mostly and fashion designer. She loves to give people advice on beauty and when she gives people a look they’re happy with, it makes her happy. She’s hot tempered a little bit but can be nurturing, especially towards Marino/Orba as she has a slight crush on him.
Trivia: Benigyo was a little bit challenging on the design part. I didn’t know what to do at first and eventually decided to make her outfit similar to power up. She’s of Japanese origin. Her sailor aura and gem is a reddish pink color. A witch type magician.
Tumblr media
Sailor Shakince (Strongman of the Soldiers)
Civilian Name: Kamau Ziyad (Kamau "Quiet Warrior" Ziyad "To become greater")
Element: Earth
Sailor of: Strength and Improvement/Growth
Personality/Bio: Much like his original self, Kamau/Shakince is very much a muscle head. He does everything he can to become stronger physically and occasionally mentally. He’s the most strict of the bunch. Often clashing with Labut. He gets a long a little better with Orba, but often thinks that Orba should work out more than just his mind. He’s also a bit kinder than his usual self and doesn’t believe in picking in others weaker than him He has a bit more honor to him. Kamau is good in many sports but his favorite towards Javelin Throwing (which is throwing a spear like stick the farthest) and Discus Throwing. (throwing a disc in a great distance).
Trivia: A bit challenging thinking about what he would be like as a human. I looked and studied Shakince’s design and decided that he should be of African descent, since his clothing, especially in boss form is slightly similar to African culture designs. I kept his markings and colors similar to make him recognizable. Shakince is a Shaman type Magician which is why doesn’t have a Witch/Wizard hat.
Tumblr media
Sailor Labut (Free Spirit of the Soldiers)
Civilian Name: Jaya Dipaka (Jaya "Victorious" Dipaka "Little Lamp")
Element: Wind
Sailor of: Happiness and Luck
Personality/Bio: Very laid back and happy of the bunch. Labut/Jaya is very optimistic and hardly anything gets him down. He’s often found lazing around, eating something but enjoys cooking a lot. His favorite foods are cury and strawberry sweets such as strawberry short cake. He loves to cook because it’s something both himself and others can enjoy.
Trivia: I had a hard time imagining him as a sailor and still be, well heavy set. (That and the doll maker doesn’t have other body types. I know I could draw him fat too but...again hard to imagine him being a soldier and be like that.) I know that sounds so rude but when fighting villains, you kinda have to be fit. That’s sorta why there aren’t any soldiers in Sailor Moon or Precure that are “of different body types”. Labut in the anime only fights because he relies so much on his power in the series and being a genie, he doesn’t have to move on his legs that much. It would be a bit different story if he had to fight physically all the time. Please don’t attack me for that. I’m not trying to make fun of anyone or say anyone fat is ugly or bad. It’s just fact. Why you think there aren’t any athletes that of “different body types”? Any comments regarding this will be ignored and the person blocked. I ain’t your mama for your drama.
Anyway, Labut I made of Indian descent. He is a monk type magician (which again explains lack of the witch/wizard hat). Another thing I had trouble with was the design. I had to go back and redo it, since Labut is very plain (I mean all he wore was a red shirt and overalls), so that’s one of the reasons why Labut is a little less extravagant.
These were done in the Sailor Senshi Maker 3 but edited in the Pixlr to do things such as pants and added details such as hats and wands.

Eyes to the Heart Pt 3: Eyes Becoming Clear! Orba Takes A Stand!
Here’s Part one and Part Two so you can read the whole thing. Warning, this part is a bit long.
Summary: The Cures, Kochou and Orba go to the Fairy Village to help out with repairs. Orba is still unsure about things and things get worse when Benigyo attacks! Will Orba help his new friends or betray them to be a general once more?
It was just a few days before Christmas and Kochou decided to meet with the cures in the fairy village. He naturally brought Orba a long. He felt it was time for Orba to see other parts of the Magic World. He mainly wanted the cures to be there, incase one of Desmaus generals attacked. Orba wasn’t so sure about this. He remembered the fairy village but Kochou insisted on it. They were going to help around with any needed repairs to the village, including some gardening. If anything, Orba needed to give back to the village especially.
All of them arrived at the village. They were shocked to see Orba there with him. Orba was dressed in the same blue vest and dark grey pants outfit as he first started, but this time he had a white scarf around his neck.
“It’s alright.” Kochou assured them. “He’s going to be helping us today.”
“Are you sure, Kochou sensei...?” Riko asked a bit unsure as usual.
“Riko, everyone should be given the benefit of a doubt.” Kochou explained.
They all looked at each other and then nodded. Orba just said nothing.
As soon as they got there, the Fairy Queen immediately welcomed them as she flew over with Chikurun beside her. Chikurun and Mofurun naturally greeted each other warmly with a hug. This made the others except for Orba of course, to giggle at the affectionate greeting.
“How have you been, Chikurun?” Kotoha asked.
“Things could have been better, but we’re doing the best we can.” Chikurun explained. “It’s great to be back home again, though. Thanks again...”
“He’s been helping me out a lot more now.” The Fairy Queen explained. “He has definitely improved a bit since bringing him back.”
Chikurun then noticed Orba beside Kochou and was shocked at the sight of him. “Orba!” He exclaimed. He didn’t say the suffix “-sama” this time, as he no longer considered Orba his master.
“Oh!” The Fairy Queen exclaimed in the same kind of shocked, as she too remembered him from before. It was hard not to forget of course.  You don’t just forget about someone who wrecked and ruined your home world.
“It’s alright, your highness.” Kochou announced. The two fairies looked at Kochou as he explained. “He’s working with me now. He no longer works with Daustmas. In fact, he’s now a wizard and learning under my guidance.”
Everyone else was in shocked upon hearing this. Kochou didn’t tell the cures that Orba had gotten a wand yet.
“Wizard?!” Mirai exclaimed in shocked. Orba looked slightly away in concern. Kochou noticed this and put his hand on his shoulder. Orba took out his wand to prove that what Kochou was saying was true.  This made them even more surprised.
The Fairy Queen looked at Orba who just looked a bit unsure of himself and then said “Alright, we’ll trust your judgment Kochou, but under good reasons, we will need to be a bit cautious around him.”
“He’ll be with me and the cures.” Kochou assured. “You have nothing to worry about.”
**** Orba was just fixing up some of the sunflowers. Little did Orba realized he was being watched. By two pairs of eyes. Orba looked off to the flowers in the north east of him and said “I know you’re there.”
Chikurun panicked and hid under a sunflower.
“You don’t have to be afraid of me anymore...” Orba simply said. “I have no reason to harm you.”
This surprised Chikurun a bit as he peaked from the sunflower. Orba just looked at him and shrugged, kinda coldly, before returning to what he was doing. He just didn’t seem to care.
Chikurun just looked at him. He was quite shocked that Orba hadn’t used a spell on him. Perhaps, maybe he did change? Chikurun then picked up a rock and threw it at Orba, which caused him to look annoyed at him, giving him a glare. This caused Chikurun to flee a bit farther. Or maybe he didn’t change. However, Orba didn’t seem to use any spell on Chikurun even that time.
As for the other pair of eyes. They belong to a certain devil woman. She smiled as she recognized Orba instantly.
“So...” She said under her breath. “You’re alive, Orba? Why hadn’t come back to us then? You unleashed the rest of the generals. You wouldn’t just up and leave after that. Is this another part of your plan? Hmm....Something doesn’t seem quite right about this...”
Then she smiled and said “Well....for him, anyway.”
**** They decided to have a break to eat. It was a mix of sandwiches and some sweets for dessert. As they sat on a blanket on some grass, Orba was still lost in his mind a bit. Chikurun noticed this. For some reason, Chikurun felt something different from Orba. He use to be so scared of him but Orba just didn’t seem threatening to him as much. In fact, he even sat a little closer to the young man.
Orba then blinked again as if to clear his vision. Kochou noticed this and finally took note. “You’ve been doing that a lot lately. Are you alright? Are those glasses not corrected?”
Orba shook his head and said “It’s not that...It’s gonna be hard to admit this..but..” He took a deep breath and sighed. “I think my eye sight is getting worse.”
They all looked at him in surprise, including the Legend Queen, who also sat with all of them.
“The more it seems like I’m getting stronger in my magic, the weaker my eye sight seems to get....” Orba explained.
“How can that happen?” Mirai asked.
“Hmm...” Orba looked down and finally after a moment explained. “I do remember something just before I met Deusmas.” They looked at him in surprise as he continued. “Ever since I can remember, I’ve always had poor health and very bad eyes.  Even the doctors said I was to be completely blind eventually. I tried desperately to find something to cure it. I had assistants help me research and read for me sometimes, but to no avail. Nothing seem to work.”
“How awful...” Kotoha replied sadly.
Orba then continued “Eventually, I heard a voice when I was rummaging through an old book case. It was in a very old temple that had been long since abandon. I thought maybe there would be some old scripts or powerful spells that could help. The voice was deep and dark. I remember it becoming very cold too...The voice promised me that my eye sight would improve and so would my strength and have great knowledge of everything, that is if I worked for him.”
“That voice...” Legend Queen asked in a serious tone.
“Was that of Deusmas.” Orba answered. Everyone gasped a little in shock, except for Kochou and the Legend Queen. Orba closed his eyes and for once in his life, his tone felt a tiny bit of remorse. “I naturally agreed to become a servant for Deusmas if it meant healing me, but now that I became a magic user, I think my eye sight is starting to fade back to the way it was, if not worse...”
“But how can that really be happening?” Riko asked.
“It was Deusmas mugic that allowed me to have better vision, yet I always needed glasses to still correct some blurriness. Now that most of the mugic has left me, I can only guess it’s effect on my eyes will also fade with it...”
“But there is gotta be away to heal your eyes!” Mirai said urgently. “Kochou-sensei, Legend Queen-sama is there something you can do to help?”
“Unfortunately, I don’t know if there is anything here that I know of that can do such things” Legend Queen said.
“Sadly, even I don’t know the magic that can do such things.” Kochou answered. “Least, not outside forbidden arts.”
“It’s alright...” Orba said as they all looked at him. “After what I done to this world, it’s clearly something I deserve.  I researched far and wide back then. Should have given up along time ago.”
“Now that is an attitude I will simply not allow here!” the Fairy Queen snapped. “You may have done some rotten things in the past, but that doesn’t mean you don’t deserve kindness. Around here, we help each other no matter what they did in the past. We will gladly help in some ways, so don’t give up hope. That’s something I learn to never give up.”
“She’s right!” Kotoha said as she stood up.
“Oh, so Orba is human now!” Said Benigyo as she showed up. Everyone turned to face her. She sat comfortably in a tree and smiled smugly. “Thought I drop by to say hello and I over heard. Well, don’t worry Orba, I’ll finish what you started. The other generals have awaken now and it’s all thanks to you!”
Orba just sneered at her and looked away, angrily.
“I knew we still couldn’t trust you!” Chikurun snapped at Orba.
“No!” Mofurun finally spoke which caused Chikurun to look in surprise at her. “Orba is one of us. He’s a magic user and our friend now! We’re going to protect him no matter what!”
“Friend?” Orba replied in both surprised and a bit touched. The cures and even Kochou looked at him with a smile as he nodded at him.
Benigyo let out a laugh as she boast “Oh that’s just rich! He’s your friend! Do I have to remind you what he did before you did your magic trick on him?”
“Doesn’t matter!” Kotoha snapped “Everyone deserves a second chance and respect! Just as Kochou and the Fairy Queen have said!”
“Life can’t go on with just hatred where no one has a chance!”  Riko added. “Judging others won’t fix problems! Doing things to make a change and difference in people’s lives will and that is what Orba has been doing!”
“We won’t let you hurt Orba or anyone else here!” Mirai  announced “No matter what!”
“Ugh! Your speeches are so tiring!” Benigyo moan as she unleashed a donayokubaru and the cures transformed.
“Kochou-sensei, Orba, please take care of the queens and Chikurun.” Cure Miracle stated. “Orba, I know you’re eyes are bad right now, but please do your best to protect them, alright?”
Orba’s eyes widen a bit and then finally nodded with a determined look in his face.
The cures went to handle the yokurbaru, while Kochou and Orba took Legend Queen, Fairy Queen and Chikurun to some place safe, deeper into the woods. They stop to rest when they felt they were finally far away enough.
“Why are we trusting him?” Chikurun asked. “Didn’t you hear what Bengyo said? He unleashed all of Deusmas soldiers!”
Orba said nothing and just look a bit expressionless. Then Legend Queen spoke up “Even still, there’s a lot that can be said through the eyes and expressions of someone.” She looked up at Orba and continued “Just by your eyes and the way you act around us, just tells me you’re a bit lost inside.”
“I’m only doing this because I really don’t have a choice.” Orba claimed. “I can’t back to Deusmas. I don’t have mugic anymore.”
“Course you have a choice.” Fairy Queen replied. “You need to be more honest with yourself.”
“If you really wanted to go back,” Legend Queen concluded “you would have left as soon as possible. Deusmas would have taken you back for unleashing the rest of the generals and probably would give your powers back. The reason for you staying is something you know from your heart. I would say what it is but it’s best for you to express how you truly feel.”
“Legend Queen-sama, Fairy Queen-sama...” Chikurun said in a tone that showed he still felt unsure.
“Either way, Chikurun.” Fairy Queen reminded. “You shouldn’t be too hard. After all, it was the cures giving you a second chance that you’re here right now.”
“Oh....” Chikurun added a bit guilty.
“It was my fault that he did all those things in the first place, though.” Orba finally added. “I was going to punish him severely if he didn’t do as I told him, so it really wasn’t his fault." This made Chikurun look up at Orba in shock that he basically took the rap for him. The two queens smiled at the two.
“Either way, the cures did give him a second chance.” Kochou finally stated with a smile as he place a hand on his shoulder. “As they do you, Orba.”
“There you are!” Bengyo appeared. “So what are you waiting for Orba? Surely you have a plan just like you usually do?”
“Shut up!” Orba sneered as he glared at her angrily.
“Ooh, that’s the Orba I know!” Benigyo continued to tease. “Threatening and devious! That’s who you are! That’s who you will always be! You can’t escape from that fate you have chosen!”
“That’s not true.” Kochou reminded. “You do have a choice.”
“Shut up, you old fool!” Bengyo shot out a red blast from her hand right at Kochou.
“Look out!" Orba shouted as he did something no one ever thought, even him of doing. Orba pushed away Kochou and took the blast! He was shot in the middle of the chest and fell to the ground. He cringed and quivered in pain.
Everyone, including Bengyo stared in disbelief.
“Are you okay?” Kochou asked worriedly.
Orba struggled to sit up.
“Easy, there.” Legend Queen told him.  “Don’t strain yourself...”
“What has gotten into you, Orba!?” Benigyo asked.
Orba then took out his wand, he placed the top of it to the middle of his forehead, where his “third eye” would be. The blue stone of the wand flashed and as it did he shot out a white blast right at Bengyo, who didn’t have time to even dodge and took the blast right in the stomach. She went flying into the bushes.
Orba fell back to the ground.
“Orba!" Chikurun cried out, which he never thought he would be worried about him. Chikurun fluttered closely to Orba, right next to his head and asked in a worried tone, words that he never thought he would ask him. “Are you alright, Orba?”
Kochou picked him up slightly so his head wouldn’t be resting on the ground.
The two queens looked at his wound.
“That doesn’t look too bad." Fairy Queen declared. “We have some herbs that could help with this.”
“Yes and the honey here has some healing qualities.” Legend Queen stated. “We can go get them.”
“Will you two be alright?” Fairy Queen said.
“We need to move quickly out of this area.” Kochou announced. “She’s knocked out I think...”
Kochou spoke too soon as Bengyo flew out. Orba stood up and Kochou helped guide him to safety, with Chikurun following closely behind.
They ran as far as they could. It seemed like Benigyo wasn’t following them, but that was also bad because that would have meant that she went after the queens.
They stopped to catch their breath.
“How are you doing?” Kochou asked when he noticed Orba had regained consciousness.
Orba sighed and said “My eyes got really blurry when I did that spell...”
“It’s alright.” Kochou assured him. “Don’t strain yourself.”
Benigyo attacked again. Orba ran as fast as he could but got separated from Kochou. However, Orba couldn’t run for long and tripped over something due to his eyes becoming worse. Chikurun flew in and grabbed his hand.
“Come on, I’ll help guide you!” Chikurun told him. Chikurun pulled on his hand as Orba got up and ran, as soon as they got out of to an open field, Benigyo grabbed Orba and threw him to the ground.
Chikurun flew in front of Orba protectively. “Leave him alone!” He shouted.
“Oh, and what are you going to do about it?” Benigyo replied humored by his act, as she then swung her hand right down and slammed poor Chikurun to the ground.
“Chikurun...” Orba replied sympathetically.
“You really think you can change?” Benigyo mocked. “You unleashed the generals! You used people to get what you want! You can never change that!”
Orba slowly got up to his one knee. He kneeled down as if to surrender but he was just trying to keep himself from falling over.
“You are right.” Orba said in breathy tone. He was exhausted and all he could see was blurry visions. “I can’t change what I’ve done. I did a lot of harm in the past and I don’t really deserve to even be alive really.”
Benigyo let out a small laugh.
“Orba...” Chikurun said worriedly.
“Then return to us, Orba.” Benigyo suggested “Deusmas-sama, might forgive you.”
“Don’t do it, Orba!” Chikurun shouted as he flew over.
“Be quiet!” Benigyo snapped about to strike again but Orba took out his wand and shot at her hand.
“Leave him be!” Orba snapped and looked towards Chikurun, apologetically as he said “Um, no pun intended...”
He then faced Benigyo as said “As I was saying, I don’t deserve to be alive...but I am and I can’t change the past, but I can change the future and fix the mistakes I’ve done. Starting with helping to defeat, Deusmas!” He got up as soon as he said the last part.
“You speak nonsense!” Benigyo attacked and Orba held his wand up like he did before and shot out a ray of light. Benigyo pressed up against it and Orba kept pushing back until finally he shot her off. Both fell to the ground. Orba’s wand broke at the blue crystal as he used up so much power.
Benigyo got up and was about to attack again, when suddenly the cures stopped her. Benigyo huffed and shouted “This isn’t over Orba!” then snapped her fingers and disappeared.
“Orba!” Chikurun replied worriedly. He rubbed Orba’s face gently to get him to wake up. Orba woke up but kept blinking as if to clear his eyes. Something was definitely wrong.
“Orba!” Kochou called out as he looked at him. “Are you alright?”
“I can’t see at all...” Orba could barely talk. “Everything...everything is dark now...”
“Oh-no....” Cure Magical said in worried.
With that he blacked out.
“Orba!” Both Chikurun and Kochou shouted at the same time. All of a sudden something came over Cure Felice as she walked over to him, in a pinkish glow. She touched his face with a warm smile.
“You helped out a lot people today.” She told him. “You have proven that your past does not defy who you are now...So with such kindness, I give you this gift.” Orba began to glow a little bit and then woke up. He slowly sat up with Cure Felice still holding onto his face. He touched her hand gently.
“This feels so warm....” Orba said finally smiling. At the same time his wand also was glowing and within a moment, the wand was repaired, good as new.
Cure Felice giggled. Orba opened his eyes. Everything came into view as he announced in shock “I can see!”
“Alright!” Chikurun cheered as well as Mofurun.
“After all this time of searching and constant pain....” Orba replied looking back at his past in his mind. He looked up at Felice and said “Cure Felice, thank you so much!”
Felice simply nodded happily.
Within a minute though, Orba said “My eyes are kinda blurry but it’s different.” As he closed his eyes, he felt something wet on his face.
“They’re not blurry.” Mirai told him in her usual cheerful tone. “Those are tears! Tears of joy!”
“I see...” Orba said with a little laugh as he wiped a few tears away.  Everyone laugh in good nature.
****
As they were about to leave, Chikurun came up to Orba “Hey, Orba!”  Orba turned to him as Chikurun finished “Thanks so much for helping us! Come back again soon, okay?”
Orba’s eyes widen a bit touched by the invite and then nodded with a smile “You bet!”
Within a moment they were back home. It was sunset by the time they got back. Later, after they separated,  Orba was in front of the Magic Tree. He looked grateful at the tree as he held his wand. He was now dressed in his wizard outfit.
“Thank you, for everything.” Orba told it quietly. “I promise, I’ll help protect this world.”
“Orba-sensei.” Kochou called out as held a large slim box that was light green in his hands .
Orba turned to him and greeted him with a warm smile.
“You did great today.” Kochou told him proudly. “I’m very proud of you.”
“Thank you, Kochou-sensei.” Orba said with a bow. Kochou handed him the box and Orba opened it and within, was a cape that looked identical to his old one, except it was now all cream color instead of black. Orba took it out and looked at it happily.
“Come on.” Kochou told him. “We better relax and enjoy the holidays while we still can. You start teaching next year, so we need to relax in between getting you prepared for that.”
“You’re right!” Orba declared in a upbeat tone as he put on his cape. “Hey, Kochou-sensei?”
“Yeah?”
“I really do hope you reunite with your friend someday.” Orba replied in a warm tone. “I’m sure he’s out there somewhere and after all that’s happen, I’m sure there’s away to find him.
Kochou’s eyes widen a bit touched by this as he nodded and said “Thank you, Orba-sensei.”
With that the walked back towards the school.

Eyes to the Heart Pt 2: Lessons and Memories.
Part one found here
Summary: Orba is now a wizard and now must learn to be like one! Kochou takes him to the different shops and get’s him set up. As Orba learns, he desires more than ever to remember who he was before meeting Deustmast. However, after a horrible dream, he starts to question if he really wants to know that answer.
Relationship: Orba and Kochou friendship.
Rated: Everyone.
The next day, Kochou decided since the Magic Tree gave Orba a wand, it was time to give Orba the other treatment of any magician that starts out. He grabbed Orba’s hand and hurried him off into town.
Orba naturally was having a hard time keeping up. “Where the hell are you taking me now?”
“You’ll see!” Kochou said with a smile.
They first stopped by Francois shop.
“Oh my, Kochou-sensei, what can I do you this fine day?” He then noticed Orba beside him. Fran then got excited as he clasped his hands together. “Oh wow!” He put the tips of his fingers under Orba’s right cheek. “You have such a pretty face!”
This made Orba jump back away from the strange wizard. He looked a bit weirded out at Francois.
“My friend here is my assistant and I was hoping you’d be so kind to give him something nice to wear.” Kochou explained.
“Friend?” Orba thought as he looked at Kochou questioningly.
“Ah you’re the one I heard about!” Fran exclaimed happily.
“Heard about?” Orba asked.
“Oh I know most anything around here.” Fran stated as he flicked his hand in a feminine wave.
“I see....” Orba replied, still really unsure that was going on.
“Well, then enough talk!” Fran exclaimed. “I’ll get you measured up and get you something that fits you nicely!”
**** After a while, Francois was done. Orba was now dressed in a blue long coat, with a short capelet over it in the same color and gold trimming, white pants with similar gold details as his old pants, black shoes, a purple vest underneath the coat with blue buttons and purple straps and top it all off, on his head was a wizard hat, with a gold decal with a deep blue jewel at the end. The hat was the same blue as the coat.
“There you go!” Francois announced. “Your very own uniform! I made it similar to the school uniforms but with a few different touches, as you’re really not a student, are you? Well, from what I seen, you’re learning so that’s all that counts but you’re under a special account, so therefore a special uniform was in need!”
Orba looked in the mirror. He turned around a bit. Indeed, he felt elegant but something felt missing. He placed his hand over where his cape use to be. He sorta missed his old cape. For some reason, Kochou watched Orba and whispered something into Francois ear. Fran nodded as if to agree and whispered something back.
Orba was too busy looking at his outfit. He indeed liked it. It suited him actually but something was still missing besides the cape. He looked at his hair and then took out his wand.  He focused on what he wanted and then tapped his hair with his wand. Within the moment, Orba’s hair regained it’s ice blue ombre.
Francois eyes widen as he went “Woo! How spiffy!” He went over to Orba and place his hands on Orba’s shoulders and said with a wink “ You’re a natural darling!"
Orba looked at Francois, still a bit creeped out by him, but then looked at himself in the mirror again. A smile crept his face, which got Kochou to smile proudly.
After, the dress up, it was time to pick up Orba’s broom and of course, learn how to use it. Orba started off a bit unsteadily. He was nervous about it actually. Without his regular Mugic, he wasn’t able to fly as well as he use to. The fact that he could fall and crash kinda made Orba, for once in his life, a bit scared.
“Steady now...” Kochou said as he sat on his flying carpet.
“Easy for you to say...” Orba said a little anxious.
“Just relax and focus on where you want to go, just like how you used your magic.” Kochou instructed.
Orba took a deep breath and calmed down a bit as he remembered how he used his magic. Within a moment, he was finally steady on his broom.
“See there?” Kochou added proudly.
Orba looked down at everything below him and around him. He never really did notice how wonderful the view looked from the sky. He never really stopped to enjoy such things. Orba smiled and let out a small laugh. Nothing sarcastic or anything. It was an honest, joyful laugh which surprised Orba himself, as placed his hand over his mouth.
Kochou watched this and let out a small laugh as well. It almost felt like he was with Kushe again.
Orba then noticed his sight weakening a little bit. His eye sight was blurring up. He shook his head and blinked a few times and then finally his sight regained a bit once more.
Kochou noticed this and asked “What’s wrong? Are you alright?”
“Yeah, I think I was a little bit overwhelmed I guess...” Orba replied. His voice was a little unsteady.
“Maybe we should take a break.” Kochou stated in a slight worried tone.
Orba looked out a bit, just to look at the view once more. It felt great and looked so nice. After a moment of silence, Orba looked down and said “You know, I never really apologize for what I did and said to you, nor did I really thank you either for saving me.”
Kochou looked at Orba with a surprised look and with a smile said “It’s alright, I already forgave you and I already know how grateful you feel.”
“Really?” Orba asked
“Seeing your expressions all day tells me enough.” Kochou stated.
Orba looked at him for a moment and smirked. He took out his wand and looked at it. He remember those feelings of before.
“You know, before I got this wand,” Orba began explaining. “ I felt a feeling that seemed familiar to me but at the same time, I couldn’t recall what it was. I felt...I guess sad? However, it wasn’t for me...It was for that tree.”
“Remorse is probably the word you’re looking for.” Kochou added.
“Remorse?” Orba repeated. “I wonder how I am able to feel such a thing now...? I didn’t feel such things before?”
“Well, again, you’re human now.” Kochou reminded. “You’re not Deustmas general anymore.  Speaking of which, I’ll be perfectly honest, out of all the generals the precure face, you do look the most human. Even in your powered up form. You still looked human which made me wonder if you were.”
“I guess that’s true...” Orba replied. “I have no memories though before Deustmas so I can’t say if I was. I don’t why it bothers me so much, especially since I didn’t care at all before. So why now of all times?”
“Maybe Deustmas power was clouding your heart, preventing you from knowing who you were and by the looks of it, preventing you from feeling anything else but cold selfish thoughts.”
“It wouldn’t surprise me.” Orba stated coldly. “Deustmas will stop at nothing to get what he wants. To engulf the world into darkness...Using people like puppets is just another way to get what he desires and we all must be loyal to him.” Orba felt insulted at the last bit. “A puppet”? He felt so in control, so powerful before. To suddenly come to this conclusion and realizing that his thoughts as a general, may not have been his true thoughts, just made him feel a little bit ill and angry at once.
He felt Kochou’s hand on his back, which snapped him out of it.
“Come on, now. You’re not with them anymore.” Kochou said. “You being alive and gaining a wand of your own, means you were given a second chance. It’s up to you alone, to decide whether or not it was worth it.”
Orba just looked down and really didn’t say anything afterwards.  Didn’t nod or anything. They  just decided to call it good for the day.
They stood out on the same balcony where Kochou and Kushe once stood, looking out.
“So, how do you feel after the first day of being a wizard?” Kochou asked.
“It was nice...” Orba didn’t really know what to say. “I guess...” Orba looked out at the evening sky. The sun had just set and so everything was still colored in a purple and pink hue a little bit. He became lost in his thoughts and memories of both today and yesterday, including his memories of being a general. He compared the past and the present in his mind. Trying to figure out what he enjoyed the most.
“Was all that we went through today,” Orba began to ask. “the same things you went through in the past?”
Kochou looked at him surprised by his question and nodded with a smile on his face. “Yes. Kushe and I went through the exact same things when we started learning magic. So have all the students here, including the precure. They all gained wonderful memories here.”
“Memories mean a lot to you it seems.” Orba simply said, almost in a lonely tone.
“They do.” Kochou stated. “Memories help people grow and remind us of all the important experiences, feelings, lessons and people in our lives. In times of loneliness, happier memories can help ease the heart a little bit and remind us to stay strong times of darkness.”
Orba looked at Kochou a bit surprised by these words, as if something had clicked in him. He tried to remember some honest happier moments before today and before he met Deustmas, but nothing outside of helping with Deustmas rule both worlds came to him. His past was still a bit of a mystery even to him.
“I can’t remember anything much before meeting Deustmas...” Orba said sadly. “I dunno if I have any of those kinda memories...”
“You do.” Kochou said warmly as he placed a hand on Orba’s shoulder. “They just happened more recently.” Orba’s eyes widen upon hearing this, only for his expression to become unsure again. Kochou continued on saying “Don’t dwell too much on your past. If you can’t remember much, give it time and let it come to you. And use the rest of what you do know, as something to learn from.”
Orba just stood in silence with his thoughts and then finally nodded.  Suddenly his eye sight became blurry again.  He blinked a couple times and finally it went back to normal.
Kochou noticed this and said in a concern tone “It’s been a long day. You should try to get some rest.”
“Yes.” Orba said with a nod. His expression was a bit more worried but he didn’t show it to Kochou. Perhaps he was just over thinking it.
Orba was fast a sleep in his room that night. He had been a lot more tired than he thought. He thought he would be up all night with what Kochou said, but instead, he almost fell a sleep instantly, the moment his head rested on the pillow. He started to dream though. He was looking around through a book case, or so he believed. He could barely see anything, even with glasses.
“I’m so close...” He remember saying. He was desperately looking for something. All of a sudden he heard a voice.
“Maybe, I can help you.” Said a deep, dark voice.
“Who’s there!?” Orba shouted.
Suddenly, it became dark around as a shadowy mist appeared around him. “I can help give you what you seek...Better than that. I’ll help you become stronger than ever. Nothing will hurt you anymore and you will know everything.”
“You’ll do that for me?” Orba asked
“Yes, but only if you agree to work for me.”
“I’ll do anything!” Orba pleaded. “Just tell me what I need to do for you to help me and I’ll do it!”
All of a sudden the darkness got thicker and the mist swirled around him. He felt a sharp pain in his body. His skin became pale and his clothes changed to what he wore as a general. He let out a scream in agony, as he felt like two sharp objects were stabbing through the top of his head. He put his hands on his head where the pain was and felt two horns. As his sight became clearer, a giant eye appeared above him and he let out a terrified scream.
This caused Orba to wake up from his nightmare. He looked at his hands and felt around his head for the horns. They were gone. It was only a dream. Orba breathed heavily as he touched his chest. His heart was racing and he felt damp with sweat. He took deep breaths and tried to calm down a bit.
After a moment of trying to calm down, he looked out the window of his room which was next to his bed. It was still dark and as he looked at the clock, he realized it was only 2:35 AM. He took a deep breath and sighed. He got up and got a glass of water, then went back to bed. After a minute or two, he laid back down. He curled up a bit insecurely, which was unusual for him. He thought about what Kochou said
“It’s up to you alone, to decide whether or not it was worth it.”
“Up to me?” Orba muttered. He felt exhausted. He took a deep breath and with a sigh, he slowly closed his eyes as sleep finally took him again. He had no dreams the rest of that night.

Eyes to the Heart Part 1: Orba’s Awakening!
About: What if Orba lived after the battle?
Summary: Orba reverts back into human and is taken in by Kochou-sensei. As away to pay back and give commitment for all he’s done, Orba now must be Kochou’s assistant for community service. It seems like a good idea since Orba has no powers anymore...Well, until something magical happens!
Relationship: Kochou and Orba friendship
Rated: Everyone (This is a precure fanfic after all.)
Orba laid in a bed in the infirmary room of the magic school. He had been unconscious since the final attack. Orba’s hair was back to normal and completely blonde now. The interesting hue of ice blue completely gone. His skin was a pale peach color, which was normal compared to his old pale purple skin. Kochou-sensei, along with the cures had found him after the battle. They were surprised by both the fact, because most villains had perished under the attack yet he survived and Orba looked so human now, apart from his elf like ears.
The teachers as well as the cures were uncertain of keeping Orba at the school, but Kochou being the generous man he was, assured them that the evil that possessed Orba once, was not present in him any longer. Orba sensed normal to Kochou and that was both a good thing and kinda bad thing. It was a bad thing mainly because if Orba couldn’t still use magic, it would be difficult for him to survive in the Magic World and a bit hard to survive in the No Magic World. Kochou doubt Mirai’s parents would take Orba in and he didn’t know anyone else that lived there.
For now, Orba would have to live in the Magic School until they had figure out what to do from there.
It was the afternoon the next day and Orba began to stir a little bit before finally waking up finally. He then sat up, kinda groggy from being a sleep for so long.  Isaac-sensei then came in and noticed the young man had woken up.
“Oh, you’re awake finally!” He said in a cheerful manner. “Kochou-sensei will be thrilled! He was kinda getting a little worried about you. But we figured after all the mess you went through, you just needed some rest.”
When he spoke his teeth then flew out and landed right on Orba’s bed! Orba’s green eyes widen and he jerked his arms up in defense. Isaac-sensei then grabbed his teeth and put them back into his mouth.
“Sorry about that...” Isaac said. “That tends to happen a lot...Anyway, you wait right here. I’ll go get Kochou-sensei. I’m sure he’d be please that you’re alright.”
“Why would he be...?” Orba finally muttered.
“Beg your pardon, sonny?” Isaac said. “Sorry, I don’t hear as well as I use to...”
“It’s nothing...” Orba replied a little louder.
“Oh, alright.” Isaac replied with his usual cheerful smile. “By the way, what your name again?”
“Orba....” He replied.
“Ah, interesting name!” Isaac added. “My name is Isaac-sensei. Please to meet ya! I’m one of the teachers here. If you need anything, you can let me know...” He nearly lost his teeth again but finally caught them before they could fly out. “Anyway, I’ll go get Kochou...”
Orba looked around the infirmary from his bed. His bed was next to a large window where he could look out. There was a few other beds in the back and front of him with dividers that separated them from each other. On the corner on the right hand side of the door, across from his bed, was a shelf with that look to be herbs and potion stuff. Not far from it was another bed. A part from it looking like something out of harry potter a little bit, it wasn’t too different from any other school infirmary.
***** After a moment, the door opened and Kochou stepped in. He walked over to Orba.  Kochou then smiled at him as he got up to him.
“Well, it’s nice to see you’re awake.” Kochou replied in his usual kind tone. There seemed to be no hostility or rudeness, which kinda puzzled Orba.  “How are you feeling?”
“Every thing is a little blurry....” Orba replied.
“You mean you don’t remember much?” Kochou asked.
“Not just that, really....” Orba said as he touched his own face indicating where his glasses were.
“We usually see you with glasses...” Kochou then remembered. “I’m guessing you don’t see well without them.”
“I can see without crashing into things but yes, everything is usually blurry when I don’t have them.” Orba replied.  Kochou looked into the young man’s eyes. Orba’s eyes were normal green. There was a slight pink hue in the middle but other than that, his eyes were completely green. Kochou could tell there was something kinda lost in them. His eyes were still emotionless in some ways. He guessed after being under the control of Dausmast for so long, he was still trying to adjust.
“We’ll get you some new ones.” Kochou replied. “We have a great doctor here that can help with finding a proper pair...”
“Why are you being so generous?” Orba asked in his usual serious tone. Kochou looked at him a bit as Orba continued on with his eyes sorta glaring at first, then  he closed them.  “I was your enemy. I took the book that belong to your friend and unleashed the evil within so is to one day unleash Dausmast-sama. I just help destroy the world and yet you saved me and are helping me out. I don’t understand...?”
“Well, you’re still a person in my eyes.” Kochou simply added. “You may have done harmful things, but that doesn’t mean I should treat you with the same kind of hate. My friend got lost to darkness and did awful things. I forgave him and I can forgive you. Leaving you to rot, well, wouldn’t make me any better than what you did or your master.  However....You’re not really off the hook.”
Orba looked at him as Kochou continued. “I haven’t really picked out what you need to do to make up for what you have done, but you’re not allowed to leave this area. I stationed some crystals that will let me know if you try to leave and alerted staff to keep an out for you. If you try to flee, I will have to resort to some measures that I don’t wish to do so.”
“Well, I’m completely powerless...” Orba replied as he looked away and closed his eyes slowly. “And I have no where else to go so do whatever.”
Kochou just looked at Orba for a bit. It seemed like his memories were in tact. Whether or not he felt remorse about it, was a different story. He still sounded emotionless. Kochou sighed and then told him.
“Anyway, we’ll let you recover a bit more before making any decisions. I’ll bring you something to eat so you can recover your strength.”
Kochou walked away as Orba just stared out in silence.
***** “Um....” Orba replied at the strange dish in front of him. “What...is...this?” Sitting on a small napkin in his lap was a mandarin that was unfrozen thanks to Kochou.
“It’s a mandarin.” Kochou replied. “We’re known for the best mandarins around. You should try it.”
Orba simply looked at him, then picked one piece up and took a bite out of it. He was surprised by how good it was. He was normally not a big fan of sweets but this was decent and he wasn’t going to be impolite. Despite being a villain, Orba had always showed some manners and respect. Besides, he was hungry and was actually grateful for having something on his stomach. Though to be honest, Orba wasn’t too sure when the last time he ate anything. They didn’t need to eat. They relied on rest to gather energy and spreading chaos. Orba was back to being a living thing, so it was going to take some time getting use to such feelings, he thought he lost long ago.
Kochou smiled kindly at Orba. He can tell he was enjoying it.
“Thanks...” Orba finally said. “It’s actually been a while since someone did something like this for me. I don’t think I can actually remember.”
“If you don’t mind me asking, how long have you been with them?”
“I don’t really remember. When Deusmast-sama was sealed away, so were his generals including me, but why did the cure’s powers didn’t seal me away, is something I don’t know.”
“Well....” Kochou pondered on this for a bit and then asked “Were you once human?”
“I...” Orba tried to gather his memories up as he tried to remember anything before meeting Deusmast. It was beginning to frustrate him and yet an odd sense of worry came from within. He didn‘t know why though. “I think... I remember little bits here and there. Other than that...”
“Don’t stress about it so much...” Kochou assured comfortingly. “Perhaps you just need some time to clear your head a bit. Your memories might come back.”
“I guess...” Orba replied as he looked down.
“You should eat the rest of that before it spoils.” Kochou suggested. “ It will give you some strength. You’ve been through quite a lot. A bit of rest and recuperation might do you some good. Might help bring your memories back.”
“Do you just want my memories back so I can help defeat Deusmast?” Orba asked with a smirk.
“I’m not the kind of person that takes advantages of people.” Kochou added simply.
“I didn’t think so...” Orba said with a smirk again. “Somehow, I knew you were going to say that.”
**** Once Orba was finally up to full strength, Kochou decided the best thing for Orba to do was to help Kochou as an assistant. Least by doing so Orba could gain community service and Kochou would be able to keep a close eye on him. Orba would also get to learn about both the Magic World and No Magic World.
They also were able to give Orba a new pair of glasses. They looked identical to the ones he use to have. Same color and everything. As for clothing, Orba was dressed in a white shirt, deep blue vest, dark grey pants and black shoes.
Orba was doing some work in the garden with Kochou. They were just sprucing up some things.  Raking the leaves and doing things like that.
“I notice there hasn’t been any students around.” Orba finally said. For a Magic School, Orba was expecting more learning but it seemed empty around this time of year.
“It’s the holidays.” Kochou said. “Even in the Magic World we need breaks.”
“Humans always like to lolly gag it seems...” Orba replied.
“You’re human now.” Kochou reminded. “Maybe you should try it? It might be something interesting for you to experience. Who knows, it might trigger something from your past.”
Orba said nothing this time. Then Kochou then asked “Speaking of which, what do you like to do for fun?”
“Fun?” Orba asked.
“You know?” Kochou replied. “Something that you like to do on your spare time?”
“I never really thought about doing such...” Orba simply stated. “Dausmast-sama would have been angry with us had we just fooled around. Though that never seemed to stop Laput and Bengyo though...”
“I guess that’s true.” Kochou stated with a smirk.
“I do like observing people I guess...” Orba then added. “Humans are kinda fascinating creatures....and well, I love to read. Bengyo and Shakince always wondered why I always had my nose stuck in a book.” He said the last part with a slight chuckle.
“Do you sometimes miss them?” Kochou asked. He kinda knew that they probably didn’t care so much for each other, but then again, Batty seemed to care a lot for his comrades so that’s why he thought he’d ask.
“Miss who?” Orba asked “Shakince and Bengyo?” He then let out a laugh and said “No! We may work on the same side...but ‘friends’ as you like to call it, we are not.” He then became a bit cold and little sassy as he said “The only reason why I planned to unleash the other generals was for Daustmas-sama. We never believed in things like ‘friendship’. Such things have always been pointless to us.”
Kochou just looked at him with a bit of disappointment. He thought maybe Orba would have improved a little, but it was going to take some more time. Kochou then was reminded to check on the Magic Tree and so he took Orba with him to see it. Kochou looked at it. It was still looked the same as it was but still, he felt it getting a little bit weaker.
Orba then looked at the concern look on Kochou’s face and asked “What is it?”
“It’s the Magic Tree....” Kochou answered with a deep concern in his voice. “It’s getting weaker I’m afraid.”
“Magic Tree?” Orba replied blankly unimpressed by the name and muttered “You know, you need to come up with better names for your things...” Then he asked “What does it do?”
“It gives magic wands to those chosen for magic.” Kochou said finally with a smile as he remembered fond memories. “This tree has given many generations of witches and wizards their wands, including that of the Precure. Including mine even.” He then frown sadly and said “If Dausmast’s darkness continues to spread, this tree won’t last any longer...”
Orba looked at the tree. It seemed like an ordinary tree but by Kochou’s expression and his tone of voice, he knew it wasn’t.  Orba couldn’t help but feel something alien to him. He looked down as he pressed his hand against his own chest, as he tried to recall what this feeling was.
Orba then looked at the tree and then slowly walked up to it. He looked up at the tree and that strange feeling got stronger for some reason. Orba still couldn’t collect what that feeling was. Try as he might, he just couldn’t remember what word to put it.  He slowly put his hand on the tree and again, that feeling started to become a little stronger. It was as if something from his memory was trying to tell him something, but what, he didn’t know.
All the while, Kochou just watch him in silent. He didn’t know what Orba was feeling. He didn’t see his expression. There was nothing but silence between the two gentlemen. Suddenly, Kochou sensed something as he looked up.  Orba too felt something and did the same. From the branches of the weaken tree, a wand flew out and gently floated to Orba. Orba was stunned but gently let his hands out and as he did this, it fell softly into his hands.
As the light ceased, it revealed the colors in it. The handle part was a deep purple and the top of it, was a golden decal, shape like an eye that aimed vertically. In the middle of the “eye” was a deep blue stone. On the side of the eye was yellow wing, similar to the decal of his old cape. Going down from the top was two gold drop shape decals. Dangling from the side of the top, was long beads with a little feather at the end, in the same color and gradient as Orba’s hair. At the bottom, was a hoop ring with with little feathers shaped into a wing, the same cream color.
“What the?” Orba said in shock. “What’s this?”
“The Magic Tree....” Kochou replied also stunned by this. He then walked over to look at the new wand. Kochou then explained to Orba. “The Magic Tree has given you your very own wand.”
“But why?” Orba couldn’t believe it himself. He looked at Kochou very unsure of what just happened. “I tried to destroy this world...I was one of the causes of why the Magic World and the No Magic World became separate and the reason why Dausmast is to be revived...Why would it choose me to do magic?”
“Some things in this world cannot be researched or observed, Orba.” Kochou told him. “Some answers can only be found through time and experience. In other words, the answers you seek, will come to you as you go about your journey.”
Orba would normally been angered by this but something in him made sense of it and somehow, he just couldn’t feel angry about it. It was what it was and he just decided to follow through with it. It wasn’t like he had much choice anyway. He then nodded towards Kochou and sighed as he looked at his wand.
