I have been on the chubby side my whole life, and I like to believe it was partly because of my granny's amazing food. I have been told my whole life how nobody would like me because it am fat which kinda was the starting of my body issues. I started eating more and more as time went on to cope with my issues and it went to a degree that it became a proper problem. It has been a journey for me to understand and love myself. If someone would have shown me this picture 2 years ago I would be like that is someone else it can't be me.

kissing a boy? running your hands up and down his sides? while he’s sleepy? and calling him pet names? just to hear him giggle? paradise.

It shatters my heart that gay people centuries ago lived and died thinking the life they wanted was nothing but an impossible dream, and I’m perpetually heartbroken that very little record of them exists. And while I think about this A LOT, I never really knew how to express it until I stumbled upon that Sappho quote:

“Someone will remember us, I say, even in another time.”
