Currently watching Love Live! Superstar! 🌟

I'm really liking so far. My only complaint is that the Olympics delayed the show by 3 weeks, which was an agonizing pain to wait through.

I've actually been following the seiyuu activities for a while and they are hilarious 😂

I'm sad that I have to wait 3 months to watch the true ending to my favorite anime this season, but I'm glad that it'll get a proper ending instead of just ending due to bad production schedules.

idk if someone can find it because i definitely want to credit the original poster but my sister told me she saw someone on tumblr saying they thought that Frill isn’t “real”, at least outside of the show

Like, she’s real in terms of the plot. She’s going to have to be defeated or whatever next episode. But she’s not a “real thing”. Because of how Ura-Acca spoke about Acca’s daughter dying, how there was “no reason for it” that it “had to be Frill” who did it. The way he kept saying “you did something”, it seems that Frill is meant to be an analogy of people searching for explanation for why others commit suicide, especially since the main motivation of Ai is to find out “why Koito died”. It also ties into how the Accas don’t understand women obviously, so they don’t understand why the wife died (whether it was a murder by “Frill” or if it was a suicide but the show is framing it as “done by Frill” as in the Accas are inventing the idea/the reasoning-”someone had to have done it/been the cause, it doesnt make sense otherwise”) or why the daughter died.

Frill is literally the temptation of death, but she isn’t meant to be “real” outside of the magical realism/surrealism/fantasy of the show. She’s meant to represent a concept or the thing that people blame when they don’t understand why things happen.
