You know what sucks?

It sucks that we live in a world where being too nice or caring too much is considered a weakness.

Growing up and even till this very day, my mother is the nicest, most genuine human being on the planet. She would go the extra mile just to make someone happy, even if she had just met you and it was your birthday in a few days, she’d bake you something. My mom is the type of person who can’t say no to anyone because she likes to make everyone happy. That’s just how she is. She can’t help it. The problem is, people easily take advantage of her. If someone asked her for a favor, she would unwillingly do it. My mom could never say no and that’s what sucks about todays world. People recognize niceness and instead of acknowledging it, they take advantage. Today’s society looks at niceness as a weakness, as a sweet spot. They use it to their advantage and that’s the problem. We live in a world where being too nice for your own good is now considered to be a downfall. It shouldn’t be like that. But I guess that’s just how the world goes.
