Step by Step

1. Right click on My PC or My computer on your desktop

2. Click on properties

3. Then click on device manager located on left upper side

4. Here click on “view” tab and click on “show hidden devices”

5. After you search for “Monitors” and click on it

6. For changing the brightness you need to have “Generic PnP Monitor” working, and you will see it’s not located. Worry not...

7.Right click on active device and click on properties, then move to “driver” tab

8.Click on “update driver”

9.Click on “Browse my computer for driver software”

10.Click on “Let me pick from... computer”

11.Here you will see “Generic PnP Monitor”, Select it and click on Next.

12.Done

Now you can change the brightness of your windows. Very Simple...
