         *   the   anger   he   felt   upon   hearing   with   maggie   and   the   rest   was   embarrassing   ,   &   blessedly   short   lived   ,   leaving   eric   unsure   of   where   it   had   even   come   from   as   eyes   followed   the   bandages   .   her   shoulder   would   be   his   crutch   as   the   man  pulled   himself   up   ,   licking   dry   lips   before   attempting   to   speak   .   ━━ & ❛   who   did   we   lose   ?   ❜ 

“    a    few   injured  but   we   lost   FIFTEEN  of   our   people,   “    lightly   patting   the   wound   dry,    she   places   a   new   set   of   bandages   over    the   stitches.    “   there    sorting    through   the   names   right   now,   “   leaning   back,   fingers   help   close   his   shirt   up   before   she   pulled   the   sheets   up.   standing   up,   without   asking,   from   the   way   his   lips   looked   crack,   he   was   more   likely   thirsty   especially   after   the   blood   loss.   retrieving   a   glass   of    water    and    something   easy   to   eat,   she  smiles,   setting   the   glass   down   before   setting   the   pudding   down.   “   the   kingdom   hasn’t   come   back   yet,   waiting  on  them.  “

FIRST CHILD OF HERSHEL AND ANNETTE’S LOVE ; do not repost and personals do not reblog

Beth  “Bethy”  Greene  ,   half  sister  to  Maggie  and   Shawn.  She  was   created   out   of   love  ,   between   Hershel  and  Annette,   who  had  previous   children   from   their   first   marriage.

tell me about beth as a child! was she closer to annette or hershel? did she have a favorite stuffed animal or blanket? what got her into her love of music? what was life on the farm like for her?

♡⋅ ◟— HEADCANONS

Beth  as   a   child,   her   relationship   between   Hershel  and   Annette   was   equal.    There   were   aspects   in    her   life   that   they   shared   with   her   in   interest.   Annette   was   the   one   who   inspired   her   for   her   love   of   music   and   Hershel   felt   proud   of   his    little   songbird.   When  she’s   with   Hershel,   “  Bethy  “   his   nickname   for   her,   would   follow   Hershel   around   the   farm.   Sometimes   she’d   feed   the   chicken   or   help   with   the   horses,   brushing   the   parts   she   could   reach.   

She  had   a   fascination   with   birds,   when   Hershel   brought   her   out   one   morning.   He   told    her   that   the  birds   were   also  singing,  which   to   her   became   more   than   a  bird  chirp   since   than.  From   that   point,   she’s   obtained   a  few   stuffed   animals   in   the   shape   of   a   bluebird   and   songbird.   She   also   had   a   toy   cage   with   a   tiny   plastic   bird   in   it,  but  she   never   kept   the   cage   closed.   She  hated   the   thought   of  caging   it   in,   even   if   it   was   fake.

voice   softens   from   up   on   the   platform,   a   small   smile   rises   at   the   younger   girl.   her   shift   was   pretty  quiet  and  singing   a   song   or   two   wouldn’t    hurt.   “    come   up   to   watch   or   did  my  singing  bother   you?   “   small  joke,   as  she  faces   the   younger   girl.    “   you  alright   coming  up  here ?  “  not  entirely   sure   about   how   the   alexandrians  went  about   with   the  young   but  back  at   the  prison,  they   were   close   enough   to  the  dead   to   understand  them.

au  idea:   beth  survives the gunshot  to  the  head  though  their  was  a  50  percent   chance   of  dying.   since  she  was   in   a   hospital,   they   were   able   to   stop   the  swelling   and   blood   loss.   the   group   didn’t   leave   till   later ,  when  beth   was   okay  to  move.   the   affect   of   the  bullet   wound   to   the  head:  her  vision was dark and limited and speech was as slurred as any stroke patient’s. her right side was weak and wracked with tremors, and she was clumsy and uncoordinated  along   with   balance   problems.   beth   doesn’t   give   up  ,   though  it   takes   an   emotional   toll.   (  year   after   year   she   feels   better   and  stronger  .   she   still   has   fragments   but   she’s   alive   ).    during   the   process   of   healing,   she  either   tapped  ,   in   which,   they   taught   her   morse   code    or    she   spellled   with   her   fingers.
