Before working at Canvas, I’d tried learning Adobe Illustrator several times over the past 5 years. No matter how many tutorials I read, watched, and practiced, I couldn’t figure out my rhythm with the program. But because my living depended on it, I finally became fluent. Blue Skull Meteor. Sketching on a work break. Also, I made it to March without drinking all of February! And I’ve learned: 1. Alcohol is a dearly loved hobby of mine, still. I can have fun without drinking, but I still want to have fun with it. 2. There are limited social spaces for gay men to congregate outside of bars, and I ended up not seeing a lot of friends for a month. 3.
